Understood, I was simply filling in events from Dragon's POV since he probably was responding to Tiffany in some way, shape, or form, before the events of your post. Yours is the correct one, mine is just Dragon's perception. Understood.

Sedna- Is it reasonable to assume that the clinicians have detoxed our car yet as per Virgil's instructions/request?

Yes.

I'll also (quietly) point out that IC you haven't yet asked a question you've been wanting to ask in this clinic. Don't know whether that means it's just been overlooked, or whether priorities have changed.

Oh, I didn't explicitly mention it, but the means of communication between the various areas of the clinic are in-house extension comms. There's one per floor area (figure maybe 8-10 or so in total), so you know there's one in the reception area, you passed one coming into this area, and so on. There isn't one per room. Quite apart from the hardwiring questions, it's already so tight in this (typical) room, there almost wouldn't be "person" space to use it. (Which indirectly tells you that Galina mostly deals with trauma and triage rather than longer term care, although Virgil would know she also acts as the local counsellor/psychologist.) In SR Seattle as now, although more sophisticated systems are designed with other "break-in" codes, the most common default to reach a (meta)human being in basic in-house telecom systems is "dialing" 0.

bandit:
fyi: At this point, Virgil has what Cindy has. Powerpoint summary ;) :

* The former gaming place was controlled by the yakuza, but not directly run by them
* What Jonah looks like, where his home is, likely haunts, but nothing really personal about him
* If he did go to ground, you've got no more idea than Cindy how to flush him out
* That he's been talking with a cop (ex-cop!), but Cindy's never met him, doesn't know what he looks like or even his name
* More about the oyabun of this branch of the yakuza than you really wanted to know. On the plus side, it's not the same person to whom Virgil gave the katana, before.

Oh, and some parts of her personality probably still are going to surface almost as Virgil's own at odd moments, but not to the same extent: he has that mostly under control now. Let's just say this was very different than the much more usual use of a mind probe to seek for a specific piece of information which the person does know, but doesn't want to tell you.

Or course not Sedna. Virgil was going to call him to explain the situation and give Inleat and update of what he'd learned so far. I will leave that conversation open for you to write some return conversation.

WinterRat1-
A couple of questions about the search results:

1) Is this Nora's handwriting?

2) What was the magazine that contained the note, and was there anything significant about where the note was inserted? (ie-did it mark the place for a specific article or picture).

3) Have I heard of The Underworld? (Shadowrunner Haunts 3 = 13, 4, 2)
(I also have AK: Redmond and Local Neighborhood if needed)

4) Have I heard of Twiggy? Seen him?

Scrapheap:

1. Yes, it's Nora's handwriting

2. Random trashy magazine, inserted right in the front cover to look like an advertisement postcard or something.

3. Roll AK: Redmond and Local Neighborhood as well please

4. No and no.

I'm going to be out of my area for a while, I have a laptop, but I can make no garuntee of having internet access while I'm away, so I may or may not be here for about the same time span as Sedna (wednesday - late saturday) kinda odd how those things work out actually.

Paul and Sedna- Well how about this then. Since you'll both be gone and God knows I have tons of Dumpshock related projects to catch up on anyway, we can just pause until you return. I'll respond to Sedna's latest post and then wait for one of you to come back and post a response to that, at which point we'll resume. How does that sound, it seems reasonable to me since you'll both be gone anyway, so no point trying to move forward without my players. ;)

Scrapheap- You've heard of a club that sounds like or has the word or involves 'Underworld' (or something like that) but you can't nail it down exactly. Sounds familiar though, definitely a Seattle locale though, nowhere out of the Sprawl.

It is the time of the year for spring traveling . . .

From March 12th - March 19th I will be doing a bit of traveling to visit my family, my girlfriend's family, and an old friend (you know who you are :P ). During that timespan my internet access may be a little spotty so posts might be slow in coming, but I should be able to respond to most important stuff.

Enjoy your trips everyone!!

Erm, you can't use spell pool for conjuring. All you get are Conjuring dice and Charisma dice for conjuring tests, plus totem mods and such of course. Conjuring dice can be shifted over to help deal with drain if you like.
