It's a suggestion that cultured not be available at chargen, not an actual rule.

Well, Gypsy can easily justify learning the language.

Is it a base language Sphynx, or can it be considered a specialization of something else? :D

And I definitely agree with your ruling about ES Sparky's storytelling! :)

Jack is also going to put a point into learning the language. And could he get a chance to copy that 4th World Knowledge chip?

Aw shucks. Thanks. I'm enjoying this and I loved Earth Dawn, even if I never got to play it.

Sphynx - I redid my gear/cyber/bioware to spend the money I had left over from un-buying the STR and QCK upgrades to cyberlimbs. Mostly more of the same, though I did purchase Enhanced Articulation. Please let me know if it's okay to post the changes or if you want any changes to the changes. Uh... right.

About IC: Oh - I am SO learning that bow's name.

My apologies for no post this day. I was waiting for at least one of Gremish or Tarantula to post since they are the more intregal part of the current storyline. Will post as soon as I see they've posted.

Sorry about that. I had school yesterday, just started, and got home completely drained. Won't happen again.

Just meant that because it was the first day, all my classes were exceedingly boring and useless, and left my brain a pile of mush at the end.

Sorry Sparky, but it has been a very long and stressful day for Gypsy. There's no point missing out on rest time when it becomes available. ;)

This place reminds me of Pitch Black. Nice visuals in that movie. Lets hope the Horrors don't come out at night in swarms, though...

FYI, Slinky and Sleel are still below in the caves, working on the drones. You do not have solar energy 'yet'. That's why they're not with you. ;) According to my rolls, it takes Slinky 4 hours to make an Electronics Kit from parts, and with that, she can create a solar powered generator inside of 2 days (but Sleel still has to decide where he's willing to lose the solar panels off of, the micro drones are too small to take it off of)

Sphynx, all my drone except for the Hernando drones have solar cell modifications already on them, the only two drones that wouldn't be able to go would be the Hernandos, which is why I suggested swapping the guns of one with a gunther. Other than that, I hadn't said to canabalize them for parts. Sleel likes his drones damnit!

- I guess I should keep up with my bookkeeping better, but I'd earmarked 3 karma to get to 2 in Common. I guess what bit of Old Soul Slinky had must have lived in her arms. :)

- And I will get around to updating my sheet. Shouldn't be any need to make an electronics kit out of the Hernandos... I have one... or should have had one before the refit.

- What I was thinking on the drones is that I could pull one of the solar power kits from one of the drones to make a battery charger of sorts. One that we could use to power our non-cyber gear. So, actually, we'd get to keep the Hernandos, but their batteries would have to be tinkered with. And one of the Solar powered drones would get 'gutted' or have it's solar power mod pulled to service other stuff (including the donor drone).

That make sense?

- Definitely.... definitely Pitch Black vibes.

Dibs on being Riddick.

Uh, I think you miscalculated slightly with the whole 'doctor' scene. James has a platelet factory and he needs an anticoagulant to keep from dying- he doesn't need a coagulant.
Or did the doctor just misdiagnose?

Hernandos don't have batteries, and aren't convertable to batteries. The idea of using the Hernandos for "spare parts" is because they won't be anything other than a pile of slag otherwise. You could take apart a battery operated drone if you want, but that makes it useless since you don't really have the gear to operate in a manner that you can quickly re-assemble the drone after using the battery (getting simple tools like a screwdriver/wrench/etc are impossible, you're having to use the metal for 'parts' to even work on something.) Best choice is to use the parts of the Hernandos to create a generator.

Also, Sleel has both a vehicle toolkit, and an electronic toolkit, so you don't need to "make" one. I didn't mean we wouldn't have the hernandos, and I still need to check if they are gas or electric powered, as I can't remember off the top of my head, and it'll make a bit of a difference. I think they're battery, but they couldn't fit a solar modification due to cargo restrictions. If that is the case, we could also remove one of the Arty drones (they aren't mini) solar power, and use that to jury rig something up, which might be the best solution yet.

And Sphynx, as I said, I do have the gear that would be required to take apart a different battery drone, most likely an Arty, in order to make a solar generator that we could use, even just pulling off the solar power, would create a solar charger pretty easy, leaving the drone intact, but without solar power. The hernandos I suggested simply swapping guns & ammo with a gunther, simply so that way I'll have one drone with rather heavy firepower if I need it, and the other with less, but considerably more ammo.

It's your guys calls on how you wanna do it, let me know which drones are sacrificed for it though. Hernandos run on jet fuel. Anyhows, just make sure the CF and Load is based on modifications, not design. Lemme see the final result. ;)
