"Ha..." says Dogma in a "well-this-is-interesting" kind of way.

The odds that they just happen to be at the same spot where a mountain fell on their boss who sent them to this very spot are of course speaking loudly of what's going on.

"Easy, guys" the team leader tells his men, who were frantically exerting themselves to dig up the Great Dragon (was he Great at this point?).

At the questionning looks his team gives him, Dogma explains his logic.

"It is pretty clear Ghostwalker knew about the warp that threw us back into the past. He knew we'd end up here and now. He did not, however, detail me with any specific orders as to what to do once we got here. If digging up his body from where a mountain fell on him was all-important, I'd know about it."

Dogma pauses a moment to continue his thoughts.

"Right now, my only concern is returning you all to the 'present'. This dragon we're standing on may or may not be able to help us do that. He may be profoundly unconscious and of no use. He may eat us on sight. We may not even be able to dig him up. So there's no point in frantically going about this."

"We have no other real leads, so we'll work on digging him out. But don't stress, chummers. Gypsy and Rebo can use magic to move some rocks around, so everyone else assist them."

After that, Dogma went to where Meneer was to question the doc on if he knew anything about this dragon, or any dragon for that matter.

Glancing over from where he and Rebo are planning just how to go about moving some of the larger boulders, Gypsy catches Dogma's eye.

"Don't forget to show the doc our other little discovery."

Slinky's snatches her hand back from the bow. Myrminoth? What? The name resonates in her mind. Her eyes widen as she remembers the words of the Caern leader.

"Learn its name, and it will always have a bullet ready for you."

James... James could be down here... She puts her back into shifting stones and stops as the hairs on the back of her neck raise when Tevos’ spirit arrives. She looks over her shoulder at the massive spirit and back down in front of her reeling back with a sharp cry when she sees the white of the bow gives over to the white of claws. Big fragging claws. Drawing a gun as she scrambles back over the rough terrain she trains it on the not-moving claw.

She takes a breath and calms herself as the others come over. She holsters the gun and looks across the group at Dogma as he pronounces his intent to send everyone home. The group postulates that this is Ghostwalker in the past and Dogma puts the kibosh on that line of reasoning.

Slinky shakes her head, “I just had a nasty thought guys,” she fidgets with the butt of her holstered gun.

“The caern leader said the worm-demon was summoning a ‘Dragonkind’. Back home, I mean… Tir na nOg, in… our time,” her voice quavers slightly as she fumbles, then presses on, “There was a dragon inbound when we got pulled through. What if this is not Ghostwalker from this day, but Ghostwalker from our day?” She looks around the group, “The nasty part is, if that’s true – why would Ghostwalker answer the summons of a Horror?”

Gypsy calls everyones’ attention to what is presumably one of Hate’s claws sticking out from the rubble. And that. She shivers, and the bright sun dims momentarily. Why couldn’t our bullets touch Hate when we vaporized the worm-demon? She puts a hand to her brow and rubs her face. She walks wide around the remains of the Horror to her pack and unbuckles the fasteners, fishing out the slippery ruthenium cloak. It slides in her hands. Fragging stuff, just as hard to hold as it is to see.

She calls to Sleel, “Send Little Bird with me to scout around for James and Grem. And anything else we might find.” She swings the cloak around her shoulders and vanishes in a shimmering. “Oh, sorry Dogma,” her voice coming out of thin air is eerie, “Uh, mind if I keep an eye out for stuff? I could use a little …quiet time.”

She eyes the bow, tiny in the massive claws. Myrminoth. Just thinking the name makes her mind hum like a plucked bow string.

Seemingly oblivious for the longest time, Tevos is quite the last to notice the dragon claw holding the bone white bow.
"Oh frag..."
Tev orders the spirit to try and dig as much of the dragon up as it could before ordering the storm spirit to do the same.
"You telling me he KNEW what that warp was going to do?" Tev stops and ponders a second before relizing that the chances that Pale knew exactly what it was where pretty damm good indeed.
"Ok, lets just dig, I dont want our future meal ticket to die on us."
Tev watchs the mildly annoyed storm spirit helping to drag a boulder away.
