I wish my latin was better, but it's all self taught, so that makes it difficult to get everything perfect. I'll check into that though.

Oh on another note, I don't really know what level of racing fan any of you are, so I've been assuming that it's, "yeah thats when cars go fast" for the sake of simplicity, if that comes off as "talking down" believe me I don't mean it as such. I just want to make sure when I say 1320 or 400 you know I'm talking about a drag strip not some obscure rule or something. So again I apologize if you think I'm being condescending, I you know allot about racing then this will be a refresher course, if you don't then maybe you'll learn something.

It doesn't sound condescending, so far. ;) Especially with things like names, you end up with a lot of inside jokes, and it's pretty reasonable to make sure that everyone is on the same page.

Appearance:

Xerrus is a rather skinny looking human. He has short brown hair, usually combed back with his fingers, at least enough to keep it out of his eyes. He has hazel eyes, he seems to never look around though, always staring at some fixed point that exists in another world, but he is remarkably unsurprised by things happening. Even though he is skinny, hes in good shape, muscles attached to bone with some skin stretched over the top. Hes sorta tan, from running around on the streets, but hes still fairly pale. He has a hardened appearence in his eyes and face, and tends to ignore anything not associated with him.

He usually wears the sleeping tiger line of clothing, featuring leather pants, a pvc vest, with wire mesh cuffs. He also wears a chain for his belt (instead of the cheap metal one that came with the outfit) and keeps a taser in the built in concealed holster.

Xerrus loves speed. He loves rigging also. He doesn't like himself very much, mostly due to his poor genetics resulting in him being rather slight of build, and easy to hurt. Because of this, he prefers to plug into his vehicles, and become them instead of him. Then hes powerful, and strong, and capable. Its an ego-boost for him. Its why he does it even with all the money hes gradually put into his vehicles.

History:

When Xerrus was younger, he would go and watch the streetraces dreaming of being able to compete in them once he got older. He knew he would have to have a name to race by, as no one used their real name. He was reading a book one day, and saw the name Xerrus, and had identified with the character, who was stylized after indiana jones. This also caused him to have a fascination with whips.

The transport. This huge hauler can fit 33 people in it without too much issue. Its the roadtrip bus, whats used for when you need to hold a lot of stuff, or a bunch of people, or a good mix. Sure, its the size of a bus and drives like one too, but buses can't go offroading like this hovercraft can.

Middle: Xerrus typically is able to make enough cash from street races to keep up on payments for a warehouse, under a false company. Its not big, and its not the best, but it gives him a place to park his vehicles, watch the trid, and not get hasled by nosy neighbors.

That would be why we would try and avoid explaing what E.S.S really meant at all possible costs ;) Let them try and figure out what super cool meaning E.S.S has. Since none of us play soccer, none of us are moms, and the closest thing to a grocery getter is Sebastian's step van, I am also going to vote for 'no' on the Soccer mom name. Personally, I like the latin names best.

Sandoval, who is the third person, you spoke of when you said wait for three more votes, Johnny Lightning? I really don't think it'd be fair for her to vote, since she's the leader of your rivals, unless she has some stock...

But anyway, so I'm assuming the I's have it with ESS? thats a great name, clever, funny, and shrouded in mystery. So we just need Thomas and Tarantula to vote and we've got a team leader.

Also Aes' suggestion of passing the time by thinking of how you met each other is a good one, not a nessecary one for the run to commence, but interesting to read none the less.

Since were on the cusp of the beginning I'd just like to reiterate roll here, sigs off, take any liberties with the NPC's you'd like(that don't involve them getting killed or hurt), since we'll have allot of racing and maybe some fighting, don't post in the IC until the race/fight is resolved, and then you or I can do it, your choice. I like "free form" games so I've just got an agenda I'd like to see accomplished but after that good luck and have fun.
