From Hobbe's post it looks like he would be giving Karma anyway, it would just be an option to spend cash for more. Did I misread the post?

I feel strongly both ways.
-Karma rewards for Good RP -Cash for Karma If we are casting votes between these two options, mine is for good RP is rewarded with Karma. If it is Cash for Karma excluding RP awards, then I would be uneasy. That would be a real incentive for our PCs to earn for the gang but the focus would be shifted from the RP too much. Just my thoughts, thanks for listening. Also, With the date/location stamp that WinterRat1 has suggested, would each player post that or would it only be in GM posts? I like all the formatting conventions but I hope I don't get pelted with rocks for slipping up hare and there. I am bound to. |

Everyone date stamps. If you want an example check out one of the Living in the Shadows IC threads. We do it in there. It really helps keep things in order.

So right now we are:
00:12:34 Saturday 09 April 2063 – Puyallup - Serpent Turf - Serpent's Lair - Rooftop ...or something. Could we use blue so it looks a bit different than the other game? I think that might be helpful for those who participate in both. Thanks Slip! |

Hey this is HOBBEGOBLIN I am just over at Cyd's place.
I have looked at all arguements and go with my first impression, Which is to Award Karma..... And I like the Date Stamp Idea... Lets go with Yellow because it's easier to see. 00:09:43 Somewhere in Loveland |

Ok....Kharma time
Everyone roleplayed excellently, and posted in a timely matter so, I am awarding everyone 6 kharma points. I am awarding 1 extra to Mugzy, he pulled off being on the spot magnificently. All of you have done great rp and i have enjoyed this week, looks to me this is going to be a very good and long campaign. |

I'm going to have to say no too. Buying karma in my experience can drasticly alter game balance, imagine what would happen if I had 30 spare karma for Mitch, and with him being in collections which should for a gang be a pretty active department, and you said we get cuts of each score, thats alot of money for karma, probably more than you'd want us to have...

Yes it is.. I cannot wait to see what the next day is to hold. (having PC's run the show per say) I like the fact that we can all just RP what ever for our missions and we don't have to answer to Mr. Johnson or have someone else tell us what to do. ( to some extreme.. we do have jobs, but have freedom to make up how we go about those jobs ) That is great, I can remember other runn's waiting in an alley for Mr. J wondering what he had in store, just to fullfill his own goals (sometimes given by others / yet still given) Here our own ambitions guide our twisted minds (and spirits) to what ever purpose...

I am extremely happy from last weeks game. I've played alot of games but, never with this much roleplaying or the depth of roleplay i should say. Cydlexia and I in PnP have tried but, it usually ends up combat heavy...sorry fuhok, you like to destroy stuff in person so, it carries over usually. I am excited to see how the week goes. That was only a night in the life of a serpent and a good day at that.

OK, I think I corrected my time post to bring our conversation in sync Flipshow. Also, I have nothing more to do at the party except maybe a quick post describing Lee leaving; so feel free to fast forward anyone who'll be at the meet. As a general note to people who are new to PBP, it's usually a good idea to let people know that you'll be moving things forward or are ready to be moved forward so you don't inadvertantly overrun people.

Yah, I am running behind (sorry heavy work day today and I want to put a lot into my next post) so my next post will likely go from what I do at the party, through to the next morning. Though I don't think I have an pressing business yet other than to talk to Kaze, but that can be done whenever.

Sorry Rat no doubt you refer to Rasta... No biggy, he is some what of a mystic PC anyway.. So there will be a lot of things I think he does off the page of the game, Thats the way he is set up ( plus I like to write, and story tell so you will get a lot of detail that has nothing to do with any PC's other than my own, Nothing personal to any I just have to much stuff floating in my skull so I write it down. Take your times)... I wasn't going to do the next day only early morn, until all where with me. I got the Idea as I sat around last night, and I have sever ADHD (and ex-substance use) leave it be and it is gone. ( ask Fuhok about my attention, it has it moment's I think once I got 2hrs in on one task.... I think? )

thats ok hobbe. me and cyd have had some good long campaignes with lots of RP.
but you do have to admit all RP and no action can make for a dull game but so can all hack and slash.Just remember the golden rule....all work and no play makes Johny a dull boy I think our longest campaigne lasted about 2 years ohh yeah it's people i brake in person not stuff |
