BC - I have Thermo, Low-Light, and Flare Comp.
Cedric - I was wondering, what is the meaning behind your notation that reads: "2: 6 + 1 = 7. ... Success" I assume you mean on the second dice you rolled a 6... but where is the +1 coming from and why do you have it equal 7? Even if dice explode due to Edge use, they would add extra dice to roll, they wouldn't add to the result of the previous die roll. Just curious what you meant. |

WR is correct: unless you're using Edge, 6's don't explode. Even with Edge, the 6 is still counted as a success; the 'splody die is counted seperatly from the original 6.

No I'm not using Edge or anything like that, I'm simply using an online dice roller from 3rd Edition and then copy and paste the results.

BC- one of the things I'm looking for in the shop is the telecom/phone system. I'm also looking for any signs that there are security cameras or anything.
Perception + Intuition roll: (no exploding 6s just old roller) You asked for 5 rolls and your target is 5 ... here are the results: 1: 1 2: 6 + 5 = 11. ... Success 3: 6 + 3 = 9. ... Success 4: 6 + 6 + 6 + 2 = 20. ... Success 5: 3 3 successes Dam but I wish we were still using exploding sixes, look at those rolls! Oh well, I also have 1 point in the Electronics group, so we could use the same roll for if we substituted Electronics for Perceptions, dealers choice. If I don't find the telecom, or a phone or security camera system then I'll look around for a message pad, and grab the garbage sack from under the counter. |

I am cleared for SR 4, with the exceptions of the stuff I was using to test the Training rules. But for all practical purposes, I'm good to go. It's just that my character sheet looks like a maze right now. ;)

Looking back through the main OOC thread, it looks like SR13 is SR4 Approved. If this isn't right, let me know.

Good question. Did we have a plan where to go next Cedric? I was kinda expecting us to get ambushed here, thus rendering that question moot for a while. :)
I'd imagine the next move would be to see what is on that telecom and determine if there's any leads we can obtain from it (the telecom) to help us decide what we will investigate next. |

I think we check the telecom, but we also need to look into the Yak connection, the guy from the Palace, page back to torture scene for name.
I'd suggest we head back to the safe house and probe the machine. I've got a 1 in Electronics group but I'm hoping we'll have someone better at computer stuff than me. We may also need to contact a fixer to arrange for a hacker to get us a background jacket on the Yak guy who tried to have us killed since none of us are hackers as far as I know. I'd really like to get Virgil up and running at full speed, since he's our magical muscle. If there is any way we can have him examined by anyone other than my Bear shaman street doc connection I'd like that. We'll need to look at penetrating the Lone Star impound lot to get Daed's van, but we can probably do that tomorrow night rather than in what's left of tonight. That'll give my detective contact time to get back to me and maybe make that a little easier. It'd also like a little more data on Vinnie, who he is and who he's connected to, so maybe some research on ShadowSea or the 2063 version of that would be in order. From here I'd say a move back to the safe house is in order. |
