Uhhh, Bandit/Shadow? I noticed a problem with my character sheet that I need a ruling on.

When I put together Erebus' char. sheet I added some Neurostun IV grenades. The sheet got OK'd.

I was looking at joining the Abyss post and put a character sheet together for that and when I was doing so I noticed that the Neurostun grenade is avail 8. How do you want me to handle this?

I don't see the problem.

Take it up with your world GM, if something needs ajusting I will go with whatever he decides.

Geez you guys are so paranoid. You know you don't spring the trap till after your out in the open, not before

Funny how the last couple times Dragon's been out in the open, wouldn't you know it...ambush...no wonder shadowrunners are all so paranoid. At least we've got that paranoid atmosphere thing down in LITS. :)

QUOTE
Remember, feel free to communicate OOC as much as you want. In a table top setting I would say differently, but I am learning that in a PbP game it is critical.

No kidding. In all honesty, I think that's where I'm getting myself in trouble a lot, not enough communication on the OOC thread and the boards (on my part), treating it too much like a table top game. I'm learning, but it's a different mentality from tabletop in certain key ways, that's for sure.

No problems Cedric. We use standard SR3 canon character creation rules, and the cap is rating 6, availability 8, so the grenades are fine. I actually remember specifically checking that item to see if it was allowable when I vetted your sheet. So unless Bandit has a problem with it I'm not aware of, it falls under the general guidelines and is fine.

Cedric: Winterrat is correct, your sheet was OK'd by me because you indeed had everything correct . . . play on my friend :)

Shadow: Just let me know if you plan on having the watchers report anything; be it positive, negative, or nill. This is so I know how to respond to Dragon.

Heads Up....

The helpdesk I work at is rolling in a new Dept. this week, so posting from me will be sporadic at best. This should be complete by Friday.

No worries Shadow. As soon as I get a report from Virgil, I'll have Dragon move out.

And just so I don't start to hold up the process again . . . I am waiting for the results of the watchers to post the all clear. Of course this can be negated if Shadow says the point is moot.

Out of curiousity... :)

Tenmou has a cybernetic transducer as well... can he pick up on anything that Dragon and Daedalus are discussing (in the off chance, we're on the same frequency...)?

I don't figure he can, but I thought I'd check.

We're on an encrypted frequency, so if you wanted to listen in you'd have to locate our frequency first, and then try to crack our encryption, which would lead to an electronic warfare test. I'm thinking we'd know about it too if you tried to crack us, but I have to check the rules for how exactly it works, since it's way too complicated to remember offhand.

Under any circumstances however, I'd view that as a pretty hostile action, which may not be a good thing, given the circumstances we just left. Just in case you're thinking seriously of trying to listen in on us. :)

Of course, that's assuming you'd have a way of even knowing in the first place that we're communicating via radio.

He wouldn't, unless he accidently stumbled across it, which is why I asked.

"I hear voices... hey, it's you guys..." :)

No worries. Carry on.

haha.... that would be funny, especially if we were talking about you behind your back.

Very cool though is that we can have another member in our transducer telepathy circle : D
mwa haha..

ahm ok so quick flow chart:

Watchers say all clear --> Virgil says all clear --> Dragon moves... and...

Daedalus will also jump back to his body and walk out the door AFTER Dragon and before Tenmou if he gets back in time. The two of them, (according to Daedalus's assumption) will make sure to secure the street before the other two come out.

Otherwise Daedalus will be waiting in Talos to blast away anything that needs blasting.

Yeah, in all liklihood we are being a bit overdetailed here... ... but ... : P

We could include him, since there's literally thousands of channels/frequencies out there. We just need a separate channel. And as far as being overdetailed, we haven't been paying enough attention to detail lately (me especially! :( ) and look where that's gotten us!

We're waiting on Shadow to let us know the results of Virgil's astral scan before we move anywhere Cedric, just in case you missed it.

Out of curiosity, do you have a radio/transducer combo as well?

Nope, no radio gear or anything inside this brainbox. It'll have to be an external setup for me.

Sorry for my absence, I was abruptly tasked out to do a Win2k to Win Xp migration. Professionally it is a lot of fun :) but I have little to no access to my games. I will try to catch up and post today. But I suspect this will go on through Friday. Sorry :(

Daed the watcher give you the all clear. But they 'feel' a presence that they cannot locate.

Also, I wanted to do a story post for this but I don't have the time. When you go back into your body you take 3 boxes of stun damagge.

Feel free to move on without me through the week. Nothing bad will happen till you are at the warehouse... at least :)

Shadow, maybe I'm not tracking, what warehouse? Are we skipping the meeting at the bar in Tacoma and moving ahead a week? I'm very lost now.

Yeah, and what's with Daedalus taking the three boxes of stun damage? Are you talking about Virgil? I'm really confused here as well. Maybe if you could clarify or even write the story post when you have time, that would help clear things up?

Thats what I get for posting in a hurry.

I meant the bar, I have warehouse on the brain. PLease yes skip ahead to that, or RP your way to that. I think I will get more posting time tomorrow but I am not sure. I had to rebuild 4 computers from scratch today all the way through NAV, and Office and all patches. I may have to do the same tomorrow.

As for the stun damage I think it was fairly obvious I meant Virgil :) OKay maybe it wasn't, but I did! Virgil takes 3 boxes of stun upon returning to his body.

Heh ok that makes more sense. I was confused because riggers CAN take stun damage from being jacked into their drones, right (?) so it wasn't impossible that Daedalus could have taken stun damage, but I sure as heck would have had no ideas why (unless you'd handled it via PM or something) so it was worth the time to clarify.

And yeah, I empathize with the posting in a hurry. Especially at work. I get in trouble ALL the time for doing that. (Just ask Sedna. Am I right Sedna? :( ) Ugh.

Bandit- you wanna post your report? if I get a chance to post I'll do it since virgil won't really be saying much, but if you can get a post up by all means, go ahead first.

OK everyone, I'm going to move us outside, unless anyone has any objections, following that post, should we just agree to meet at the bar Erebus mentioned and bump ourselves there?

Cedric, I realize that Erebus planned to take a detour to the florist shop, but for the sake of keeping the action going for now (since it sounds like Shadow is very busy) would you be ok with just meeting up at the bar and discussing? Give Shadow a chance to get himself settled and keep our storyline going?

If not it's fine, but it's a thought I decided to at least toss out. Let's figure out if we're all meeting directly at the bar or not in the OOC thread before anyone posts after I move us outside, for continuity's sake.

Because if we aren't all meeting at the bar, we're probably going to go our separate ways for a while, and it's worth setting figuring that out OOC at least.

We can just meet at the bar.

What I'd planned to do was run by the florists and break in to see if there was a computer or telecom which might contain the order that was made. I also considered torturing the florist to death for information and as an object lesson in betrayal, but we can skip that until later.

I am going to make a phone call to Max my fixer who set up the job, he might be in danger and is probably our best lead as to who hired me to do this job. I don't want my fixer contact to end up dead because I forgot to call and warn him. I can do that via an aside in the post where we end up at the bar though.

What I suggest is we move outside, and rendevous with Virgil so Tenmou can get fixed up. From there we head directly over to the bar for our meeting.

Works for me. Bandit was planning to heal Tenmou once we were clear, so perhaps he could ride with us, or we could do it at an alternative location. The bar or somewhere else. SR13, it's your character, what do you think? (Everyone else feel free to chime in though)
