Jack leans forward across the table to shake Slick's hand.
" It'z always nice to meet a new healer friend. I thinkz we'll getz along just fine."

Jack being a big troll and all, half way standing leaning across the table has his ass slightly up against "Hank's" hand as he is sitting to the right of Jack.

Ernie places his "small compared to a trolls hand" in jacks overwhelming grip. "Yeah...i'll make sure to patch you up." Looking at the massive being Ernie thinks to himself I'm staying on this ones good side.

Mr. Stone acknowledges with a nod of his icon's faceless head. "Very well then. I'll have my man hand over the advance to your companions. Kote's address is 2001 Watershed Ave. in Tacoma, it's a corner lot. I'll be sure to let her know you're on your way after we conclude our business here. My townhome in Bellevue is 34 Encanta Way. Buzz security from the front gate and Ill ensure they let you in. If you have need to contact me, contact my assistant who you've already met at the club. His name is Charles, and I'll ensure he slides his number to your companions." The icon finishes his spiel. "So, if this is all?"

Jack and Ernie

As you two converse, you catch the bodyguard put his finger to his ear, as if listening to something. He nods to the young man who begins reaching into his suit pocket. Instinctively, you both perk up, ready to dish death to Mr. Well-dressed and his bodyguard if anything remotely dangerous comes out of the jacket.
An Instant later, you are put more at ease as the young man produces a stack of certified credsticks and a datchip. He checks the cred, and then reaches into his jacket again and places another stick on top of it all. He gives a nod to his ork bodyguard, who slides the cred and the chip over to your end of the table.
"Twentyone thousand." The young man begins. "On the chip is the girl's address and the address of the townhome, as well as a number you can contact me through. As soon as your teammates return, I suggest you leave through the back."

Jack finishes shacking Slicks hand and sits back down. Seeing the suit reach for something jack looks quickly at the orks to see if there are doing anything.

With the one at the door smoking and not paying a lot of attention to the inside of the room and the one to the suits left, having one hand at his ear Jack feels that the suit probably isn't doing anything but he moves to the edge of his seat to give his arm reach to get his gun from his back if needed.
Seeing the cred coming out of the suits pocket, Jack sits back into his chair and gives out a heavy breath. "So Stone and these two must be wrapping it up. Good!" motioning to the 2 net heads. Hearing the suit say 21 grand was a good sign. Jack thinks that the girl and "Hank" must have done well or the job isn't a walk in the park. " Nice doing buziness with you." looking over at Slick jack nods and waits for the net heads to come out of it.

Ernies pulse races, first from the fear of the bodyguard moving abruptly then at the sight of all the certified credsticks.Then the thought occurs to him...If they are willing to spend this much Yen, this aint no cake walk.

8:14 Downtown in the back room of Matchsticks

“We will try our best to make haste, Mister Stone. Have a goodnight”.

On that last note, Ludmila was out.

Slowly, Ludmila started moving in her seat. Her hands gently came up to her head, unhooking the trodes and setting them on the table in front of her. She then took the pack of cigarette she had left on the table, and drew another one out. Lighting her second one of the night, she cautiously eyed Mister Well-Dressed, as well as the credsticks and the datachip, and spoke out the corner of her mouth.

“I trust it that these contain the modified amount of cred we requested?”

She, for some reason, didn’t like Mister Well Dressed; or Charles… like Stone had called him. Ludmila simply couldn’t help it but smirk at him while reaching for one of the 5 credsticks.

Pocketing it, she turned toward Jack and Ernie. She spoke in a calm tone, her Russian accent seeming colder than usual.

“The mission is quite simple: we are to escort a certain Miss Kote, from her place of residence, to Mister Stone’s. The trip is from Tacoma to Bellevue. Said Miss Kote is a model of some sort, and has been receiving obsessive letters from an individual who calls himself Cain. The last letter was a death threat. Said letter pushed Mister Stone to hire us.”

She gave a quick glance toward Charles.

“Apparently, he doesn’t trust his own security or staff with this operation; which is why the contract falls on us. Once the package has been safely delivered, we are to use whatever means necessary to find this “Cain” person. This is not an official body guarding & investigation operation: it is covert. Usage of lethal force has been approved by our employer: so, rules of engagement are left to our personal discretion.”

She waited a few seconds for Hank to give his approval.

“The 21 grand is a advance to be split between us four. We also have access to an extra grand, to acquire a mean of transportation for Miss Kote. The weekly pay for the run is 5, 250”

The Russian took a long and slow drag from her cigarette. Blowing the smoke toward Charles, she leaned forward in her seat and locked gaze with Ernie for a few seconds, before going to Jack.

“By the way… I’m Ludmila. You may call me Ludi if you wish…. You two in?”

8:15 Downtown in the back room of Matchsticks

Jack nods to Ludi then looks over at the Suit. " I think it's time you you and your bodyguards to leave us."
Jack reaches over and picks up a cred stick and the datachip. Once the suit is gone he'll continue to talk.
"Nice you meet you Ludi, as you know my name is Jacky D. I'm a good shot with a gun and all I'm found out of Slick over there is he is a magic user that can heal. Whats you area of knowledge?" then looking over at (Hank) "Whats yours as well. As for the job I'm in. It sounds like a peace of cake but I'm betting this Cain guy isn't the average crazy stalker type, I bet he has some ties to some gang or mafia or something. I don't trust this Stone guy either. for all we know he is Cain and Cain is this girls manager." Holding up the datastick "If is this gives us her address and his, I think we need to look up some more information about who owns these addresses and maybe even stop by Stones place before we bring the girl there. I think we should also get a basic idea who this cain is before we get the girl just to see what we are up agiast. As for the ride we need to get for her transport i think we should get a limo with one of us driving it and the driver be wearing the normal dress for it. If se is a Model and this cain is watching her place it wont look out of place if we pick her up in a limo. I think we should look up what we can find on this suit's Phone # he gave up too. and check out what other information is on these cred sticks, location bought and or who bought them if any of that data was stored on them. If stone wants the girl ASAP we need to get moving fast, I think a pick up around 11pm tonight wouldn't be out of the question. That would give us just under 3 hours. Thats enough from me what do you guys think?"

The suit (Charles) glances at Jack with irritation. "Don't forget, we're the employers here, not you. You can have the room, it's paid for the night and I have other business to attend to anyways. By the way, the trodes belong to the club, so leave 'em." With that, the suit gets up and exits the room, followed closely by his bodyguard. As the door closes behind them, just the team is left in the room.

With a wary eye, Ludi watches Charles and his goon leave.

Once the door in closed, and while Jack is talking, she gets up, takes her Mortimer jacket off, hanging it on the back of her chair. A large Colt Manhunter sit comfortably in a holster, under her left arm, looking a bit too large for the woman's frame. A small silver crucifix, attached to a delicate chain, hangs from her neck and rests on her chest. While cracking her neck from side to side, she start unbuttoning the cuffs of her shirt.

As she walks around the room, finishing her smoke, it is not difficult to notice a Walther PB in the small of her back.

"Well, Mister D, I do a bit of everything. I am... how to say... a jack of all trades? I guess my main field of expertise would be surveillance and counter surveillance.

She drops her cigarette on the floor and steps on it.

"I agree that Mister Cain should not be taken lightly. He could be a major threat, and we have almost no information about him. I believe that, through Miss Kote, we could access some of the letters he has sent... Part of our assignment is to dig up information about Mister Cain, and digging we shall."

Ludmila stopped her little walk. Putting both hands on the table, she leaned forward, exposing her face to the light.

"As of now, our employer is Mister Rick Stone; ex-executive at West Coast Modeling. I say ex, because two years ago, a model under his supervision, Anne Keller, was picked up, floating face down, in Puget Sound. It seems Mister Stone might have some issues with the models under his care. I agree with Mister D's opinion: we should look into the records for both addresses, as well as maybe have a look at Mister Stone's residence."

"Concerning the operation itself: we shouldn't rush into it. Making a move tonite is too soon. We will be unprepared, and will lack the knowledge to establish any operating procedures concerning transportation of Miss Kote. I would rather we wait until tomorrow afternoon, or night. If not the day after."

She looked at each of the men.

"We cannot act without some sort of planning; which requires information... information we do not have at the moment. I believe it would be... how to say... wiser for each of us to part ways, collect what data we might, and pool our information together, tomorrow, at the earliest hour. Or we may split up in groups... While some scout ahead, other may hit the street for some info."

Ludi crosses her arm.

"Or we can simply rough draft something right now..."

Ernie looks around the table and replies." If I have the addresses I could visit them astrally."

[Mister Juan]

For a few seconds, Ludmila stood idle, bitting her lower lips.

"2001 Watershed Avenue... Tacoma. That is Miss Kote's. The place of delivery is....hmm... 34 Encanta Way, Bellevue. Astral scouting seems like a very good idea, to me."

She turned to Ernie.

"If you are willing, of course."

Hank gets up from his seat. Takes a few steps around the table and leans against the wall opposite of the doorway. He then decides to throw in his 2 :nuyen: "I am agree with Ludi we should hold off on picking her up tonight." "We should get what information we can either on our own or in groups then meet up somewhere probably round 3pm." "That should give us enough time to do what recon we can, and leave us with enough time to have a good plan made up."

Hank pauses for a moment and then adds "also as for the inquiry about my skills, I can fire a pistol have above average skills with most electronics." "Plus if any of you guys get shot I'm not a bad street doc either."

8:18 Downtown in the back room of Matchsticks

"Tomorrow sounds goods if you think Stone will be fine with it. It sounds like Stone thinks His place is safer then hers but that her place is still not totaly unsecure." Looking around the room at everyone expresions. "I think we should group up in 2's, one looking at Stones place and the other doing some research. With 2 guns, a mage and a snoop, I think Ludi and i should go to Stones place and check it out while" Points at Hank and Earie."I still have gotten your names. but anyway. Have you and Slick go somewhere safe and have Slick astrally look at both the addresses and then try and find what you can about the players involved" handing Slick his phone # " we can plan a meeting time in the morning but if you find out anything that you think we should know sooner you can contact me at this #"

[Mister Juan]

"Personally, I do not believe we have the time to do any in dept surveillance work... Beside driving by Mister Stone's residence, and getting a quick peak, we cannot investigate further. I am not agaisn't going to scope it out, but I will not sit and watch a house for no real reasons."

She looks at Jack, from head to toe.

"And you are not very well suited for a covert surveillance task... No offense but you... how to say... are hard to miss. But if you insist."

Ludmila then turned away, letting her back take any comments from the Troll.

"I'll also take the time to make a few calls to some friends and dig up what I can. If I have the time, I'll try to drive a few different routes from Miss Kote's to Mister Stone's. Not that a map could not do the job; but a map doesn't show you all."

The Russian then proceeded in giving out her pager number.

"If you need to contact me.... As of now, we should all get moving. The sooner we start our information gathering, the sooner we will be able to establish our plan."

She walked across the room, and started putting her jacket back on.

"Anything else?"

Ernie leans back in the chair and comments." I can check out both as long as no barriers are existing at either location, and I do like the idea of someone watching my meat body while I'm checked out."

Hank looks over at Jack and says "I don't believe we should have most the groups time checking out the 2 houses. I think just doing a quick look around and having Ernie do his thing at both houses should be good. Also I don't have many connections that would come in handy for getting information on people so I wont be much use there, I do believe that at least one of us should post guard at Miss Kote's residence. At the very minimum if something were to happen he could stall the would be assailant(s) after calling the rest of the team."

Hank looks around the room for a second to see the rest of the groups reactions.

Hank then he continues. "If someone does stay there to post guard I'll have to recommend myself. Why, well Jack you'll get noticed before you even get to her block. Ludi seems to be very capable at getting information so I think she would be good in that area. Ernie your needed to do your astral thing at the two houses.

Hank waits to see what the others responses are.

8:20 Downtown in the back room of Matchsticks

"Ok" looking at Hank. "I'll Stick with Slick and you can Camp out on the girls block and Ludi can check out the traveling routes and Stones place while talking to her contacts about everything. I'll contact a car rental place and see about getting us a limo. I can also rent a tux. for the driver, anyone know how to drive?" standing up he says " If thats it lets get going. We should get the rest of you contact #'s too."

"I can drive a car, but since Ludi will doing the test runs she should probly drive"

For a few seconds, Ludmila bursts into russian; apparently swearing and cursing. She quickly regains her composure after a few deep breaths.

"This all seems like a good start... but hold on on the limo rental. I don't believe everyone is on you with that part of the plan....

He voice suddently goes a bit deeper, not to say menacing.

"And no one gave you any permission to spend that 1 000 :nuyen: by yourself."

The woman simply stared at the Troll for a few seconds, letting silence fill the room.

"As for the driving, I have basic skills"

She points toward the small datajack behind her ear. "And I can drive via datajack, if the vehicle comes equip with it. Anyways; Mister Slick will go on astral scouting of the place, while Mister Jack provides watch. Mister Hank will go secure Miss Kote's location while I hit the routes and the contacts. If everyone is good with their assignment, we can all exchange contact numbers and part ways. We'll fix the meeting time and point via phone, later tomorrow or tonite."

8:21 Downtown in the back room of Matchsticks

Jack says "Fine" looking at Ludi then starts to walk out having Ludi's and the so called Hank's contact #'s. "You coming Slick?" He says as he opens the door to the hall.

Both arms crossed, Ludmila watched Jack and Ernie start to leave. She turned slightly to Ernie when he passed her.

"Make sure he doesn't spend that grand... And be careful."

She then directed her attention to Hank.

"I will try to do my best in collecting information... and will probably wait for tomorrow morning to do the drive. I'll probably come and join you either tomorrow, or at the early hours. If you need something, page me."

On that last note, Ludmila was on her way out Matchsticks and off to where she had parked her truck. All she wanted was to be home in time to put Lana to bed; and then it was time to go info hunting.

Jack had turned right out of the back room and headed for the back door while talking to Slick. "I got a nice little place across downtown. It'll do if need be. I don't drive thou. You got a car? Or shall I hail for a cab? We could always set up at your place if you think you would be more comfortable leaving you body there." entering the back ally Jack takes a good look around before moving on. Jack lights up a cig while waiting to see if Slick's got a car or not.
