yeah I edited my post - he's catching a bus yet again, and should arrive a few minutes after Dawn and Gregori.
I'm using the nuyen from this run to buy some form of transportation. I should have spent it on that instead of the hundreds of rounds of gel ammo :D |

Once I have everyone's init. I can determine who goes first you or me and post from there.
BTW: Os - You have the initiative. They are agressive and are definitely gunning for you. Here is the scene as you see it: The lead ganger is backing toward the truck and drawing a weapon(pistol). Ganger #2 is running for the side of the building, also drawing a pistol. Gnager #3 is stepping behind the truck bed and reaching infor something.. Ganger #4 is still behind the driver's door. And the silver haired woman is just sitting there. Play Ball! |

Okay, for the first pass, Os is taking cover (full cover if it's available), drawing his pistol, and turning on his eye mods. In the second phase, he is saying his piece to Razz and switching the Viper from safe to burst-fire. Needless to say, he is only talking loud enough for Razz to hear.

O.K. as this is my first attempt at running on a PbP game. I am unsure which method works best so I may try several different ways before settling on one. But for now I will take a page out of Sphynx's book:
Post your intended actions IC. Post all the actions you want to make for the turn (if you have three actions this turn post three. If something happens during a pass that causes you to change your action, that's cool. We'll just use movie magic to gloss over.) Post the rolls for said action in spoiler tags beneath it. Example: Estoc, already nervous at Os and Razz's presence, decides they have to go. Permanently. He draws his pistol and begins backing toward the truck for cover. He tries to get a shot off at Os. [ Spoiler ] Does this work for everyone? Is there a more efficient method, or a better one? Suggestions are appreciated. |

Musashi, I don't mean to metagame, but I kind of meant for Os to suggest that Razz goes around the side of the house, just in case the ganger tries to circle around and sneak up on them. Obviously, it would have been a bad idea for Razz to jump out of the house and start chasing after the ganger whilst taking fire. Anyway, on with the game.
BTW, can Os take full cover? Or is it just partial cover? |

Gregori can see three people and a truck. The truck is parked five meters from the front door of the safehouse. One ganger is standing behind the driver's side door pointing a handgun therough the window. One is standing at the rear of the truck, firing an assault rifle. The third is running for the far side of the house. From what you can see, they are wearing street clothes.

oh drek my bad. initiative has tripped me up in SR forever, especially since I'm playing way more D&D now :) Here's my assault rifle - the important parts are the smartlink 2, laser sight, recoil comp 2 and tracer ammo - that should make my TNs 1 2 3 for 3-round burst, if I did the math right. Sorry to slow things down.
But in a turn, do I divide up Sorcery Dice into Spell Defense Dice by the number of objects I want to defend, and the various spells I want to cast? Meaning, Gregori has a Sorcery of 5. Do I have 5 dice to spend on spell defense AND spellcasting together? or 5 for defense, and 5 for whatever spells I end up casting? |
