Currently I am running two games,. Read through those games, if you don't like my GM style or feel that I don't run the kind of game you like, it's better to find out now.

Doc Funk and Eccle are already in the game. If you don’t get along with them or like there play style don’t submit. I am looking for 1 possibly 2 people who work at a computer irl and stare at DSF all day. This game will be partially run in the SR Mirc chat hosted by DSF.

Please read through the rules twice before hitting the reply button. If you have any question, post them. Others may have the same question.

1. 125 point characters priorities only - no Becks, no Sum to 10. After creation add 200k and 50 karma. You can change Cash for karma at a 5k:1 ratio. Initiate grades are limited to 3.

2. Character will be members of a Super Secret Black Ops agency that polices govt. Experiments. The game will start after a terrorist attack on a ‘holding facility’ has freed 123 experiments. Your job is to hunt them down and terminate with extreme prejudice.

3. This game is not first come first serve. Submit your idea and I will let you know shortly. As soon as I see an idea I like though that’s it.

4. You can by power (spell) points, and karma with money. The cost of a point of Karma is 5,000. The purpose being that you could initiate before game play.

5. Beta is the highest grade for cyberware for starting characters. Cultured Bio is allowed.

6. Availability 21, max rating of 12, for equipment on starting characters.

7. I would like the finalized characters posted in a spoiler tag on the forums. You the team has worked together for the last year guarding the facility. You all know each other well, hang out at each others houses etc. I want these characters to have families and such.

8. Characters are Govt Employees. Your cover is that you work for the Bureau of Vital Statistics, Division 6. You are GS-22’s and make 85k a year. That equates to a Medium Lifestyle free. Plus a “salary” of 3k a month.

9. No custom gear. This is non negotiable. And by this I mean no gear from scratch, modifying current vehicles and weapons are acceptable.

10. This game idea is based around playing it while we wait for our other games to update. Eccl, Doc and I all sit in front of a computer all day M-F and hit the refresh button on DSF continually. I am looking for a player who does the same. Some days this means we will play in Mirc chat, others it means we wont play at all.

11. Riggers Welcome!

12. Characters are expected to get a long and act like professionals. Lone wolves need not apply.

13. Don't worry about overlapping characters. Just make the character you want to play.

14. This forum, and my games, are PG-13. Keep foul language in SR terms (Fragger, drek, etc).

15. If you have a question ask in the OOC, others may have this question as well. Don't PM me unless it is something you want no one else to know.

16. Firearms from Rayguns site are encouraged, though we won’t be using his rules.

17. All comm. Gear, armor, amo and standard vehicles are free (issued by the govt.). Any specialized gear, or cyber (focus, customized firearms, super vehicles) have to come out of your own pocket.

I work at a computer and love fast paced days, the only reason I wont post is if I am home sick and my wife wont let me out of bed. :)

Sounds like a Sam would fit in great, to help make things well rounded.

Doc Funk and Eccle would you mind telling me if a hard sam or fast sam would work best with you guys?

As far as the Sam goes, Hard or Fast, either way, just make sure you can Stealth.

Everyone pisses me off constantly, so that's a moot point. :D Err, I mean :grr:!

You might want to consider covering another field of expertise, though, since (as mentioned above) Ecclesiastes was working on covering the muscle aspect of the group while I was covering the magical aspect. Decking, rigging, investigation/face, and etc. are some of the other areas we could probably use more.

I also had the impression that this was going to be a small, tightly-organized group of specialists, so that should be kept in consideration, too.

OK, I would love to play an old character idea I had.

My character is Troll named Dead End. parents died when he was very young and he was raised in government housing. His real name is Eric Smith, but no one looks up in wonder when they hear that name. When he was 16 1/2 he got his foster home to sign a release letting him join the military. He has been a member ever since. He would be lost with out a commanding officer, and would die before he let his team mates come to harm. He loves to fight, but never with his team or other members of the military. Cybered up beyond what would be socially acceptable, he has no plans to ever leave the military.

Considered a specialist in Unarmed combat, demolitions, and heavy weapons. character creation pending approval of concept.

GM...I did not see anything about Edges or Flaws, just wanted to know if you let them in your game.

P.S. As per docs comment, I could dump this idea and play a fast sam/face. I just want something to do other than hit refresh. :)

OK how about this one (feel free to shoot me down)

Basic Human fast sam/face. Great with computers and security systems. Very stealthy and good with pistols.

Born and raised by a high-class family, he originally joined the military to get time in serves for his record. His parents had big plans for him to become a potation. When he started working black ops jobs, and had to tell his parents he was a cook in the military, the disowned him.
As time went on, he fell in love with an elven women and had a child. She understood that he was in the military and never asked questions about my work. My wife was a scientist for a military operation, then one day, she was killed in an accident at the lab. The details of the accident were classified and I knew enough not to ask any more questions. I still have my daughter, Alexandra, and I have obtained a very good and experienced live in nanny to make sure she is well taken care of when I am not home.
The reason he still works for the military is as simple as he does not think he could earn an honest living doing anything more...

Here's a proposed background...still have some more details to toss in. Will see about working on the sheet tommorrow after work. (assuming they don't try to get me to do a triple at work...)

Name: Leslie Carmon
Occupation: Field Scientist (human mage)

Background: Leslie was born in the middle of a native village deep in the heart of the African jungles. Her parents, both scientists, saw to it that she got a broad education as she traveled with them as they investigated the wonders of the Awakened world. However, as she reached her teenage years, evidence of her magical powers emerged. She was sent to Boston to stay with her aunt, a teacher at MIT&T, who was to see to it that she was well educated in her new powers.

Leslie still got to spend the summers on expedition with her parents, aiding her parents in the study of the paranormal. She never questioned the fact that she would follow in their footsteps when she was grown. When in class, she threw herself into her studies, hungry for the knowledge that was there to be gleaned.

She went through her schooling with flying colors. Her highest achievement, her doctorate, was overshadowed, however, by the fact that her parents weren't there to share it with her. She had gotten notice two weeks before that her parents had not returned from their expedition to the rainforests of Amazonia. Having read the excitement in their letters over her achievement and expectaton of returning to be with her, she knew that they had not stayed willingly.

Her parents' disappearance only further encouraged her on the path she had chosen. She accepted a position on the staff of MIT&T, using the resources provided to further her studies when she wasn't sharing her knowledge with her students. Perhaps one day she would discover what had happened to her parents...

OK, when you say don't buy. I am still picking it and placing it on my character sheet because I have filled out a requisition form, correct?

Also, Taking normal guns and adding gas vent or caseless, are these still free or do I need to pay for them. :)
