It also needs a blatently obvious godmoding self-insertion character.

That isn't the kind of self-insertion I meant.

Big D (So that's where he got his nickname...) is a fairly well established character. He also isn't a complete godmoder. If he was he would have turned away the horrors with the power of his mighty dragon penis and sucessfully pushed through a Constitutional Amendment making him President for the rest of his natural life.

Although that reminds me of my favorite piece of my SR fic. It was about Nadja Daviar just sitting in her kitchen in the middle of the night talking to someone about Dunk and life six months after the assassination. The someone happened to be, well, me. Or something like the 2057 version of me.
