How would helping stop me from being generally foul-mouthed and irritable? :P
But no, I didn't know. So, I stand informed. |

Soo....quick check, just because I want to be completely clear about everything, I want to ask again. Are you going to post something to modify the comment, or go back and edit the post? Because if you let the comment stand IC, there's going to be an issue.

I want to move the game forward but I just don't see doing it without Ecce here. Any ideas?

Nothing here unless McQuillan feels comfortable enough to run his character while he's out of action. Maybe have him post something to delay the exchange until Ecci is back? We all could do leg work or something?

Just checking OOC McQuillan, does Bishop have any proof?
And do I get the feeling that he's talking about just showing up and gunning the guy down, or starting an operation tonight? |

Fenris--I'm speaking for Bishop at the moment, but the plan I was envisioning was going to thismans house, taking him non-lethally and interrogating him if he proved to be a Templar, if he wasn't a templar to back away and look for another lead...
That may not be how Ecc envisioned this all starting, I'm just kind of guessing. |

So, start with kidnapping and possibly torture and move on from there?
McQ, is this the kind of thing I could check with my contact for without putting him in any danger? Verifying the identity of a suspected Templar member? |

Fenris--Depending on the identity of the hunter, you may be able to get that info. If this particular Templar is one of the upper elite, there may be some concern about who is asking about him and why...

Is there any way for my contact to determine whether or not he's a member of the upper elite before he goes sticking his nose in places likely to get it cut off?

Sorry for anyone who read my latest IC post (about the potential Templar) while I was editing. McQ was feeding me some info as I posted/edited.

Fenris--Yes, your contact can find out whether or not he'll get fragged for asking before he does the asking...

Sorry for my extended absense. Things have been pretty heavy on my lately. I'm trying to work up the muster to come back here and catch up on all my threads (man, there are way too many of them...), but last night didn't end up going that way. Hopefully tonight will go better and I'll be able to catch up.

After this part of the meet's done I'll give him a call then and ask him to verify for us, if he can do so without putting himself at any more risk then he normally takes dealing with us.

Ok. I've given this a lot of thought. This is being posted in each of the games I'm involved in, so sorry if you're seeing it more than once...
I've going to be pulling back from the forum games for a while. I'll still be involved, but mostly only in games that have been running for a long time. However, this does mean that I'll be dropping out of a lot of games that are either in startup or haven't been running long. Things in my life have just been too chaotic and frankly I'm just going through too much right now to keep up with the pace of the boards. I'll be dropping the following games... Tequila Blues (GM) - Sorry guys, hopefully Shadow or Grendel can take up the role of GM and keep things going. I'll be happy to feed them the ideas I had. Daddy's Girl (GM) - I really hate doing this, cause its been going for a while, but being a GM is just beyond me right now. Living in the Shadows - Grendel can decide what happens with Todd. Into the Abyss - I haven't even started this one, so you'll be ok without me. Balance Due - Even though I haven't posted yet, I know that Bishop was a main character. Perhaps he was killed by the Templars and that just gives his friends more reason to go after them. Games I'll be staying in... Extassis, Hunting Shadows Within, and Savior. |

Buddha--Tactic used when the Templars know that they are close to their mark...Create a link somehow with their mark and then send an Archangel to kill it. (Great form Spirit of Man or Great Form Elemental) This is only used when someone has evaded capture or they want to set an example...

Because some of your team had warning, there is no surprise round.
I will need initiative from anyone who wants to hang out and fight the spirit. Templar Magic shows that this is obviously an "Angel of Vengeance"--a high profile assassination tactic used against Traitors to the cause and individuals who have caused substantial setbacks for the Templars. |
