Just curious has anyone came up w/ a way to convert stats from 3rd ed to 4th? If so what are some "quick tricks" you GM's that are planning on using 4th ed use? I guess if no one responds I may try and give this a go but since im new to SR in general it might be a bit difficult.

If you're new to Shadowrun, any PCs you have would be better served by being remade through character generation and then given Karma akin to what they had in SR3.

If you are converting NPCs, winging it by comparing them to the NPCs in the book and the power of your PCs.

What about equiptment etc..?

Find the closest functional equivalent and use that.
