Full Version: PlatonicPimp's Character Sheet

Due partly to mintcar's example, and due partly to my frustration at the space left for commlink information, I just completed this 7 page character sheet for fourth edition shadowrun. And I would like to share it with the world. Sadly, I don't know how to upload an image for you to view, nor do I have a webspace to host it. I was hoping someone could hook me up. (Perhaps you, Dashifen, since you were kind enough to host mintcar's)

The first two pages contain the information that would still be true if you were stripped naked and thrown into the desert: Your name, attributes, qualities, skills, implants, powers, spells, and contacts. The third page is a gear page, while the fourth page is a detailed commlink record sheet, which I think everybody needs. The fifth through seventh pages are record sheets for things your character may or may not have. The fifth page is for managing the peripherals in your PAN. The sixth page is for vehicles, and the seventh page is for spirits.

I'm really happy with these record sheets and I hope someone will have the kindness to help me put these out there.

Edit: Here are the imageshack links. I hope these work.

A quick google search for "free image hosting" reveals a plethora of options. My personal favorite is http://www.imageshack.us/ . There is no need to create an account, just upload and post the link they give you.

Alternatively I'll host it for you.

Nicely done! These sheets are very professional-looking. For our first game, we just used the default sheets but found they're pretty lacking. I whipped up a modified copy of mintcar's sheets and sent that to everyone, but these certainly have some merit to consider.

I like the full-page sheets for vehicles, devices, and spirits. Though, IMHO, some of the pages could use a little more density.
PlatonicPimp
Density is exactly the problem I have with most character sheets. It leads to data being jammed together simply because there is room for it, rather than keeping information organized.

By the way, you'll notice I haven't done anything silly like copywrite it. Do whatever you want with the files. I just made these for my use and thought "Hey, why not share it?"

There is one mistake I saw. Under your contacts section, its headed by the title Active Skills. Should be an easy fix though.
PlatonicPimp
Fixed that. thanks.

In responding to this particular thread, I realize I may not catch the attention of the fellow who posted these sheets, but thought I would try anyway since I just now caught this thread looking for character sheets of the non-official variety.

Pimp, these are really nice sheets; the PDF tirsales is hosting still has the Active Skills header in the contacts section though. I tried to get the second page from your imageshack host to modify that myself, and it comes up with nothing at all. I'm going to try something different, though...stay tuned...

You know, I think Imageshack dumps things after a while.

You think these are good, you should have seen my character .... "Devices" is teh only word for them. They were customizeable, movable peices that packed up in a compact carrying mode, but the various "menus" unfolded so you could have as much or as little character info as you needed. The whole thing had a the same "commlink" interfece concept, and they were made using LAZERS, believe it or not.

If I can find those files, I'll post them. Sadly, I no longer have access to the lazer machine.
