Nope.
But... then again it's hard to hide from what you are. Fortunately, no major New Year's problems, I guess most people were somewhat intelligent last night.
The fact that you didn't see it, isn't proof of it's nonexistence. 
I single handedly stopped a break into my neighbour's garage this morning at 7 am. Then the Star showed up and nabbed the guy. Drekkin' crackheads.
Oh god I had a home invasion because some crack head was looking for loat, all he found was me and my neighbor waiting to beat him cause we both go to work at 7am, all he got was a ride home with the cops and a broken face.
I don't even consider crack heads people anymore, just parasites.
My story's pretty much the same as yours hehe, except I my neighbours were a terrified teenage girl and her passed out hammered totally useless boyfriend, hence my going alone.
As for crackers, I feel kinda sad for them, but they made their own choices I guess.
