"I'll bet. I hope it wouldn't leave one of our team compromised though. Maybe something along the lines of a false physical injury might help as much, with more urgency."
HeySparky
Vadeux passes along the teams questions and ideas, 'gang tags,' 'attractive young doctors,' "We need to find out just what sort of clinic zis is, I think?" She chews on her lower lip as she holds a muted connection to Widget, ready to activate it when they have more questions for the young technomancer.

Mon Dieu. I should have paid more attention to my technical studies. Her brow furrows and she shifts back in her chair. "I have eaten already, but I think some of you have not?"

Lucky
You move along unassumingly in the open sections and darting from shadow to shadow in more concealed locations as you set each drone in place. Unquestioning in the exact placement instructions that Widget gave you, you make your way back to the van after a few minutes.

Widget
The world seems to melt away as you send out your call. Soon you see one of the tell-tale signs as a white furry bunny with a top hat and a knife comes bouncing into your vision. A small word bubble gets drawn in quickly just as you hear that first voice from the matrix.

"Yeah?"
cx2
"I ate before I came out thanks. If I can get info on if there's a local gang to the clinic there's every chance they would notice something on their own turf. I'm also still trying to think up a way to falsify an injury, I like the idea of going there for medical attention but I would prefer something we can lose quickly if we need to. I'm thinking along the lines of a traffic accident, you wouldn't blink twice at the idea of it... I hope."
Buddha72
Widget once again feels a sense of relief at the sight of the free sprite or whatever it was. Fuz Bun-Bun had been her first friend and teacher, along with her Uncles, it remained one of the constants of her world.

"I need some help. I have to find out a bunch of info on this clinic.." She quickly shares data packets with her friend about the place and a recorded play back of the phone call. "..and sooner rather than later. I know my limits but I promised these people I would try so I am looking to see if you can help and what I can do to repaid the favor." She waits for the sprite's response.
BishopMcQ
Widget
Word bubbles appear as that same voice echoes in your mind,

"I'll poke around and find you when I have the info you need. When did you need this by?"

A second bunny appears next to the first. This one has a green visor, armband and adding machine rather than the knife. You'd seen this accountant before, he always knew the final tally.
Buddha72
"The sooner the better. It seems there is some data I need to collect and a runner too. Goes by the name Finn." Widget gives over a copy of the data to the knife wielding bunny. "Don't know if this will help or not but you never know. Thanks."
BishopMcQ
Widget
The psychopathic bunny takes the information and hops away, dematerializing bit by bit with each leap. After finishing his calculations, the accountant looks to you seriously beneath the green visor.

"Alright shorty, this'll be a bit more than we've worked out before. I need legitimate access to the network running at the Looking Glass and you'll need to buy a few cameras. Here's the address for where they should be placed and what angles I want them facing. They need to be online by the end of the week."
Buddha72
"Fair enough." Widget downloads the information to a storage device back on her body. "Make sure to let Fuz Bun Bun that I say thanks." She waves goodbye to the accoutant and pulls back to AR space and her body. She quickly accesses the drones placed around the clinic, checking each one's placement and feed.

Van Team
With the cameras placed and contacts scouring the places in between for information, you head back to the Looking Glass. The clock strikes 2 as you pull into the garage but from the sound of things, it doesn't appear that the ravers have any intention of letting blue laws stop their party.

Apartment
Once more the team is pulled fully together as the door opens and your wayward Johnson and young technomancer enter the flat.
Buddha72
Widget enters the studio with a wave and a lop sided smile. "The feed is up and running. Give me a little bit and I will get it set up so you can all look to your hearts content." She moves aside for Lucky to enter before shutting the door after him. "We should also be able to check for those gang tags you were asking about as well. I have things cooking on the info you wanted about the clinic, but these things take time but as soon as I know you know." She moves into the small open kitchenette and starts some hot water for tea. "So anything new here?"
Fenris
Lucky drops into a seat as Widget moves around the apartment, propping his feet up on whatever's nearby and lacing his fingers together behind his head, looking interestedly at the other members of the team.

"You guys got an entry plan yet?" He smirks, nodding his head at Black Widow.

"She going to play the naughty nurse, maybe?"
cx2
PU goes on edge at Lucky's last statement.

He insane? Just when I don't have my medkit with me too...

PU sighs.

"Play nice. As it happens it was suggested for Black Widow to... ingratiate herself if there were any young doctors present, but nothing as obvious as you're thinking of I would bet. Other possibles include the chimney vents as an access point, either for us... though I'm not sure about my climbing ability... or for drones to have a closer look see inside. Alternatively we could fake some sort of emergency. If anyone has any know how with stage make up or that sort of thing I could help with the medical details, or Black Widow says she has something to give someone the symptoms of illness without actually causing long term harm..."

At that last sentence PU seems to consider Lucky and then glances over to BW for a second to see if she's thinking the same thing.

If he upsets her she might just volunteer him for the job

This thought gives PU an amused smile for a moment, then he supresses it and waits for anyone else to talk.
Tashio
"For you to be so Lucky.", quiped Black Widow back.

"I don't currently have anything but I might be able to make something up if need be. I think we need to look at other options first. Hope we can find some usefull information from those drones, I think they will show us any good openings. Whilse those chimneys are look good, I'd rather leave them as a last resort. We do need to check them out before we go in, make sure they are usesable, especially as a posible exit, or even a temporary hiding place."
Fenris
He bares his teeth in a grin at Widow's reply, nodding.

"Well, the nurse idea aside, have you guys settled on an entrance plan yet? As your employer, I can assure you I'm hoping for a speedy resolution."
BishopMcQ
Widget
Scanning your eyes across the footage, you see a few quickly sprayed on designs on nearby buildings. No one has tagged on the actual hospital itself, unless the clinic has a great grounds crew that cleans it up quickly.

Patch-Up
Thin bladed knives, painted in red dot the landscape. Rusted Stilettos. Fairly violent by gangland standards, but nothing your team shouldn't be able to handle. You mentally note that you should bring an extra set of tires for any vehicles you leave outside.

Vadeux
Having spoken about the chimney stacks as a possible entry or exit point you look closer at them with the feed. Smooth duracrete along the outside, a seventy foot climb, yeah those would pose some problems along the outside unless you had a chopper to drop you off and pick you up.

There is no good angle of the inside.
Buddha72
Widget takes a quick moment to copy the images she needs to a template she can post in AR. "This is all the gang tags I can find, the clinic itself is untouched so I don't know if that means they've bought protection or they have a rep for not being someone you want to mess with." She looks to the others to see if they have any any better luck looking over the footage.
HeySparky
"Oof." Vadeux grimaces. "The ovens are no good... look at those smoke stacks. Did we get a look inside those? And if not, is it possible?"

She looks at the others and then to Luckyand Widget, lips pursed. She expands, "I am a little bit wondering what the clinic has done with these."

She seems interested in the lack of gang tags on the hospital, "Say, that is a good thing." A flash of concern crosses her face, "Unless the gangs they have an agreement with the clinic... protection... that could be troublesome, non?"
cx2
"The gang tags aren't any I could recognise straight off, but they look agressive compared to most tags. If the clinic has an agreement with them it would need some serious bargaining power, or else they have some good security that keeps the gangs off too. We should be able to handle the gang, but we'd need to watch our tyres. We'd also need to make sure we have adequate firepower with us. Not sure whether it would be a good idea to go after the gang for info if they have a deal with the clinic though."

"We could try grabbing a lone ganger, but that would risk the gang coming after us later."

"Irrespective of deals or not the clinic must have some serious backing. It would take a good amount of leverage to persuade a gang like that to bargain, or it would take an equally big amount to either have enough security to make the gang stay clear or have people constantly clearing off the tags."
Fenris
"Whiles there's not a deadline, time is an issue in this situation. Which one of you's calling the shots? You need to make a decision and commit to a course of action if you're going to get anything done." Lucky gives this advice with his feet once again propped up on a low table, leaning back in his chair.
Buddha72
Widget smirks from behind Lucky. "I have to agree with him though I am the last person who wants to go inside if things get ugly..." She mimics firing a gun with obvious poor aim. "but at this point we need a plan. This seems to be a basic run with the only wrinkle, that we know of, being getting the guy, who for the record wants to go with us, out." As she talks she walks around the studio constructing an AR image of the clinic with the data from the drones. "Unless my contact brings us an early Christmas gift I think we're going to be to do a B&E angle on this job. As much as I like the slicker and safer way of getting in, I need to be inside to grab the data and I haven't won any acting awards this lifetime or any other for that matter." The AR image zooms in on the smoke stacks. "As soon as we're all done chatting here I will see if I can get a drone up there to take a look at those, maybe find a way in that is a little more out of the way than the front door. Anyone else got anything to add?"
HeySparky
Vadeux's eyes widen and something like anger flashes across her delicate features. "I am kicking myself. We know nothing of the astral space around the clinic... I should have gone with you."

She shakes her head. "If it comes to that," she imitates Widget's pantomime gun play, "Then we are in for it, I think, yes?"

"It seems we do not have the luxury to plan an elaborate extraction," she looks at PU, "As far as backing... I think they do, if there's secret research happening here. Someone is paying for it." She looks at Lucky, "And paying for someone else to steal it."

She shrugs, "I don't know, but if I were a ganger, I'd make nice with the people who could patch me up," she winks at Patch Up, "Or, even better, give my cyber. That stuff's expensive. I don't want to tangle with any gangs if we can help it. But it might be nice to know what colors to wear. Or not wear."
Tashio
"Winging it on the way out and inside might be okay, but we do need a solid entry idea to start off with. we are not going to get far if we cannot even get into the building."

"Though you know alot of these places you can just walk into though I somehow doubt that this would be one of them."

"We could also try get a patient list and claim to be friends or family visiting, but that would only get one or two of us in, I might be able to pull one over the reception."
Fix-it
"I would say that if we have to bluff our way in, we go as a maintenance or construction crew. We are way too different to be related in any way."

Copperhead looks closer at the holographic representation of the target building, looking for any blind spots in the security coverage. There had to be Something the designers overlooked.

It was probably not the smokestacks though.

The ork would bet his tusks that there was a nasty suprise or two hiding down there.
cx2
"You'd be surprised how many corps wouldn't go near gangs with a barge pole, purely because they don't want to deal with people they think so far below them. But the gang is a risk."

"We also can't assume there is a patient list, or that visitors aren't arranged in advance. Depends how much of their work is actually below board."
HeySparky
Vadeux nods at Copperhead's assessment. She'd been trying to get the same point across - that she expected that this wasn't a typical street clinic, but rather somewhat more shady. Shadowy, even. But until Copperhead's last remark, she didn't think anyone was getting her point. It must be zee accent.

"So, we are waiting for Widget's search to run its course, yes? No?" She raises her eyebrows. "And studying this information that we have." She gestures at the holographic image, "I agree," she points at the tall stacks, "that those will not do. Still," she brings her hand to her mouth, nibbling on a knuckle, "We could stand to observe a little longer."

She turns to Lucky, "How much time do we have?"
Fenris
He shrugs, of course. "Like I said, you guys aren't running on a deadline, but part of my being here is to encourage you to move at a reasonable pace. Also, you're going to have some problems if something happens to the data while you're stilling planning your break here. The sooner we go, the more accurate your information is, and the better chance of everything being where it's supposed to be."
Buddha72
Widget concentrates for a moment and leaves a series of commands so the image will self correct and maintain itself without her direct assistance. "Ok all I am going to be checking out for a little bit to gather up what resources I can for the actual run. You should be able to leave me messages and if I can I will respond. Help yourself to the food or some thing to drink." She crawls up onto her bed off in the corner of the studio. She props herself against the headboard and sandwiches herself between some pillows to keep herself upright. "I'll be back in a bit."
cx2
"Don't know about all you, but I haven't got all my more useful gear with me... not for going to a meet anyway. Sooner or later I'll have to go get at least my other pistol, and possibly other stuff depending on the entry method we use. Don't want to try slipping in as maintainence crew with a set of snap blades. I've not a lot of experience in... gaining entry so I'll defer to better experience on that."

PU glances particularly towards Copperhead at this point.

"But I don't like the idea of being right next to their security for any amount of time still."
Buddha72
Widget closes her eyes and listens to the low hum of the conversation of the others as she allows herself to slip free of this layer of being and rise up into the gentle embrace of the VR universe that always seem to call to her, to pull at her senses.

She opens her eyes again and sees the flow of light and notes dancing across her skin. She smiles as she feels the spirits of the the machinery around her, the distant echoes of voices and places are brought to her mind. She allows herself a moment to float in the vast sea of sensation and meaning, letting it trickle into her mind bit by bit. Shaking herself free of the subtle soothing lullaby of this existence, she looks around herself and begins to create the space needed.

Taking a hand, she rests it on her heart and stills herself. She brings her body to one sound, one that somehow captures all she was and would be. It expresses everything about her in a poised mathematical formula that is her. Drawing her hand away a flow of bits and sounds from her body and she begins to draw it out. The flow quickly spreads creating a sphere of perfect reflection of her and her soul. Stopping the flow, she runs her hand across the surface of the sphere. A small smile creeps onto her features. This was once a task of days sometimes weeks, with the practise and focus she could do it now with relative ease.

Moving to the center of the sphere and hanging for a moment in silence, she reaches out through the sphere. It amplifies her call, her need and sends it singing out through the machines and the reaches of the matrix. She waits to see what answers.
Fenris
Lucky almost pops up out of his seat at PU's comments.

"Well, we're waiting on information and her," he nods at Widget, "so why don't I take you now?"
cx2
PU nods.

"Fair enough, thanks. I've got my bike downstairs, but I could always bring along my shotgun if you bring your van. I don't think the Star would approve of someone riding along Seattle with a shotgun strapped over their back."

PU begins to stand, pulling his link from his pocket ready to send over his address and making a mental note to collect his hold out on the way down.
Fenris
Lucky nods as they head out the door, obviously glad to be doing something. He turns for a second before leaving the apartment, as if to say goodbye to Widget, but shuts his mouth abruptly when he realizes she's still zoned out, and heads out the door.
cx2
PU follows Lucky out of the door and transmits his address over.

"Not exactly the best part of town, but the Star keep clear. I do business from there too so keep a hold of the address in case you ever need someone who can deal with an injury or faulty cyber."

He probably knows plenty of people for that sort of thing if Widget was right about his cyber, but you never know.

Then PU noticed Lucky turning back to Widget.

"We shouldn't be too long. The local gangers usually let me be for the most part, and they're busy enough blowing each other apart that we won't be high on their list of targets. Just in case though..."

PU times this last remark as he's collected his pistol from the weapons check, and flashes it in Lucky's view a moment before slipping it in it's hidden spot in the underarm of his suit's jacket, giving it a fast glance over beforehand to make sure it wasn't tampered with.
