I subscribed to the Holostreets news list a while back and have so far had no news from it. So I thought it would be interesting to see what others intend to do once the Holostreets website becomes available. For those with no idea of what Holostreets is, here's a link that explains.
IAmMarauder
I subscribed awhile ago as well... Actually, I actually tried to subscribe a second time, just in case nyahnyah.gif

Me too. And i haven't received something either.
Grinder
Next in the line.

Subscribe to the email list or subscribe to Holostreets? I hadn't signed up for the email. Maybe I will, though I guess I haven't missed anything by not signing up. *chuckle*

But Holostreets? Depends on what they are going to charge me to get Shadows of Latin America. That is a pretty good teaser, I just hope they get Holostreets up this year and don't drag out serializing of SoLA for a year or something. I was hoping to pick that book up already.

You & me both.

yea, me too.
Chrome Shadow
I subscribed too... Haven't hear from them eather...
Vertaxis666
I subscribed when it first became available and haven't heard a thing ever since.

I have to wonder if this project has died due to lack of attention.

At times, it seems that the official German Shadowrun resource sites are getting far more support than the english resource sites.

I subscribed but I'm prety much giving up alot of hope. All its gotten is a passing mention here and there. And especialy now with SR4 stuff in development and seemingly in full swing, SoLA's worth as a teaser or a reason to go, keeps diminishing with every passing day, especialy if runner havens gets released first.

At that point it would be much like...horray...a now outdated source book for 3rd eddition when i joined for 4th eddition source material. woo...

It hasn't; the In Media Res guys are just exceptionally busy with another project. I'll offer to send them some Red Bull.

FanPro GmbH has full-time staffers working on web stuff. FanPro LLC does not.

I would think that the SoLA stuff could be updated to SR4 fairly easily, since if it's anything like SoA it has relatively little rules text to begin with. Heck, I could do it. And I'm totally serious about that offer.

Can it be assumed that negotiations for the license are over and all In Media Res need now is time to get the website together?

It seems that Shadowrun Fourth Edition is selling well and it would be great to see increased official support with more regular information of when products are coming out, design notes, game aids, etc.

Thinking about it, maybe there is no need for full-time staff at FanPro as BattleCorps caters for the BattleTech community as will Holostreets for the Shadowrun community.

Sorry, but reading your first post I couldn't shake thinking of this. http://www.penny-arcade.com/

Skip over the wierd stuff about a vampiric Mr. Ed, abused carrots, and Bioware. Down to the part that this comic is based on. http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2006/01/25

I looked on your web site and noticed an interesting Glitch rule variation you have there. http://wizardsrun.atspace.com/hitandglitch...robability.html That does help a lot. Four dice isn't that much of a problem, but two dice is gak.

Yeah, my first post to this forum was a bit on the positive side. Couldn't help it as I didn't expect Shadowrun Fourth Edition to be this good (here I go again smile.gif) and upon reading it I was very surprised and had to spread my joy to the world, which in this case meant this forum. But naaah, I don't work for FanPro or WizKids or anyone even related, I'm just a programmer that sits in front of a monitor all day playing with a keyboard and mouse.

Yeah, the Glitch probabilities really bugged me so I thought I would try to do something with it.
