Wanted: a few good men, hard caliburs, must be willing to travel. Good pay, no benifits, must have transportation.
Use the standard SR4 rules to build your characters, I don't have any picky additional notes, because I haven't done enough SR4 to figure out what I do and don't like yet.
I like interesting characters, with deep backgrounds, full of color and richness. I HATE munkins, if you are one, I will know, and if you slip by and get choosen you won't enjoy the game once I figure out what your doing. My stories rely heavily on character driven plot, which is not to say I just tell you what to do and you go do it, I do inject color and story frequently but the game will not be linear, so if you can't roleplay, but you can roll play maybe this isn't the best one for you to join.
With my munkin warning out of the way, I'd like to point out that if you've been harboring a wierd character idea, like a cyborg, or something, if theres a GM who would let you play it that'd be me.
As far as character backgrounds go, I like reading, and the more you give me, the better I'll know your character.
The run will center around a bounty and spread out from there.
Additional Information:
If your stuck on contacts and can't figure out any good ones, here are a few characters you'll run into that aren't extremely vital to the story line but can still help you enough to be worth it.
Jack Crawford (Human):
He's the Johnson for the run. A police liuetenant, for the star.
Davin Grey (Ork):
The owner of The Lonely Heart's club (a night spot I use in almost all of my runs). He's ex-red gaurd, who burned out and opened a nightclub that appeals to every walk of life.
Ark Grueli (Troll):
Until I started GMing he was my Troll adept PC, but now he is the leader of a street gang called nemisis. Depending on how the run plays out he may or may not appear, it all depends on you.
DO NOT post your Charsheet, on the forum, you can either PM me with it or email it to me
genomepanda@phreaker.net.
You can post your background and/or concept but not the sheet, that makes it more mysterious, or something (actually I just get annoyed by it and it takes up to much room). And feel free to ask any questions of me you like.

A few things I forgot and was to lazy to edit it
I'm looking for 4-6 players.
I will choose characters based solely on background, so you don't have to send in the sheet with the character, which makes it easier and quicker on both ends. I will need the within a few days of you being informed your in.
I want to get started as soon as possible, and tentatively, I've set the start date for May 5th. If you celebrate Cinco De Mayo, let me know and I'll work something out with you. The may 5th date, means I need everything from you by, the fourth, but as I said I will choose characters solely on background, so you could whip that up in the next few days and have the rest of the time to work on your sheet.

is a dragon too wierd even for you?

A dragon huh? Well so long as it's not a great dragon, I don't see the problem. Were you planning on the dragon having a meta-human form or be purely a dragon? The latter could create problems but also have some unique benifits too.
Let me know if you want and we can toss ideas around.
Also (I keep thinking of things I need to add here), if you have already, or plan to, PM me a background, please post a brief concept of your character so that others can see what has been submitted and with any lucky, not submit a duplicate concept, and so when I'm going back over things I can easily find a brief description of your character, that includes thier name, what type of character they are, and any thing else you feel would help people reading familiarize themselves with your character.
Additionally, if you choose to email me your character, please include your dumpshock user name so I don't have to ask who this character belongs to.

I have to say I'm very impressed with the calibur of characters I'm getting, I've gotten three so far(well sort of three actually six but four were from the same person), and all of them have been fun to read and scheme about. It's almost like you guys got together and talked about how you could make characters who would mesh perfectly with one another.
I hope that once those of you who have submitted characters post your brief bio, or concept in the thread, you start to see the connections that I'm seeing.
If I get more of the same level of intricacy in the characters that are still coming and I get too many more that will make it a very hard choice indeed. hell if I got four more in the same level I have already gotten I'd probably expand my desired number to seven and get the show on the road.
I usually post every third character the names and archetypes of the characters I've gotten but since one is still as yet undeicided I'll wait until cogar gives me an indication of what he's going to go with before I make that post.

At the moment I'm working on Face character. Limited cyberware, he's got a sensitive system. Got some state, just working on the background which I should be able to post later today, the basic are though that he's an Ex Lonestar detective who decided to go freelance after being forced to change the evidence in a case he was working on, in order that it go a certain way for a corporation. Well that's the simple bit anyhow. After work I'll be able to send some more detailed information

I have an idea for a Cyborg combat medic. I have most of his char sheet done and will email it to you either later today or tomorrow. Here is his preliminary background. If this character is ok I'll fill it out some more.
Patch started out his career as an EMT. He enjoyed it and was very good at it. Eventually though, he wanted to better his position in life. Slowly, but surely he worked his way up. Public hospital EMT to corporate (AA) medic handling assets that needing patching to doc wagon extraction team to his final legit job. All along the way he picked up new skills. He started out as an excellent medic, but he became a decent doctor. One skill he was particularly interested in was working with cyber. His blend of skills got him his final legit job, the pinnacle of his success. Patch started and led a corporate extraction team that was to one day rival Doc Wagon. Patch was living the good life cars, money, real food. Then one day it all came crashing down. It was supposed to be a cake walk. Simple recovery of an asset. It turned out to be an ambush. The team was cut down, and Patch caught a near miss from a panther. His body mangled, Patch thanked his foresight of acquiring a personal doc wagon contract, the irony. Of course this was a secret he kept from his employers. He lived, but his body was not salvageable. He is now more machine than man. His employer’s thought he was dead, thankfully, and did not come looking for him. He is fine nowadays. He used money he had stashed away to open his own “clinic”. This tapped his resources and he wasn’t getting enough customers, so Patch looked to the shadows. He rents out his skills he acquired through his time on the recovery team. He has a slight problem ever since that panther. Patch will from time to time temporarily freeze up in combat, a fact he tries to keep a secret from everyone. Gotta pay the bills. Patch wants to gain enough money and contacts from the shadows to one day just run his clinic.

Ok, I will get you the sheet shortly, here is my idea
Fixer/face
A man in his mid 50s, this retired soldier served in every major conflict since he was eigteen (back in 2033). He lost an arm and suffered chest damage in the Night of Rage; he was one of the few humans who risked his life to help the orks and trolls. When the Renraku Archology shut down he was amoung the men to go in, and recived a feild commission for his work, then served as a Zoney untill the crash of 64 erased his SIN. Well connected with seemingly everyone, he strikes those he meets as profoundly authentic. He has a gentle smile and loves to tell tall tales, and RARELY mentions his time in the army. Despire his peaceful ways he is a crack shot with a pistol, However it is always loaded with gel rounds, and virtually never shoots to kill. In fact, amoung smugglers, the turf he guarded as a Zoney became known as the "Jelly Zone," because of his non'leathal pratices.
I could go on but I think I will leave it there untill I hear if there are spots left in the game.

Thus far I've gotten 7 ideas for characters, they are as follows(in no particular order):
Aku - ? (dragon) concept
Cogar - Gorerak "Gore" Gregson (troll treasure hunter, sort of)
Rokur - Vincent "Avenger" "Avie" "Vinny" ? (human thief)
Adamu - Alouicious "Al" Guthrie (human handyman)
Xane - Jason "Jack Frost" Williams (ex-lonestar)
GingerKid - "Patch" (Orc Combat Medic) concept?
Divine Virus - ? (ex-soldier, face/fixer) concept
If you name is not on the list PM me and I will rectify that. Since there are three purely conceptual characters in that list I'm not going to close submissions, but I will help you get a little edge, there are three of those characters that I'm 100% on, and the rest I'm still tossing around and trying to fit into my story.
To those of you that have one of the three characters I'm 100% on, I know one of you knows for sure, and the other two have if nothing else a fairly good indication of that.

Aku--
Along, long, long time ago (yes, we're talking about times BEFORE the United Stats was one whole mass) I was ontop of the world. Virgin sacrifices were brought to my den for my every whim, and then served as dinner. I terrorized the country side plicking cows and sheep to munch on, and precious gems and coins and all other sorts of goodies were mine to be had. Occossionally, mighty wizards would come along to chat with me. I liked that (almost as much as i liked the virgins even) and we talked and talked about what it was like being so little and fragile and human, and not barely being able to live for a half a centuary. But then, something sinister came along, something beyond evil, it was... Beyond Evil... and we fought and we killed, and my kinda died, and we killed, and slowly, these things left us, but along with them, i felt myself getting weaker, slowly. Finally, as the 4th age came to a close, i went to sleep, was so so sleepy.
In the year 2020, i woke up, in a (thanfully for me) well hidden cave. When i pooked my head out though, boy had things changed. Not only did i not have a nice little hamlet below me providing virgins, but the thing that repleaced it was fragging HUGE, and shiny, in that dull, smog covered way. One thing stayed the same though. By and large, the general populace was terrorized by me. But i decided i wanted to learn what it was like for these little people, in this new age, so i had to do something...

Okay, Al Guthrie. Should I reply in or out of character? Out might tell too much, in probably way too little.
Like Kiedo said, human. And yeah, fairly handy. Hails from the Ozarks, but has been quite a few places, and learned quite a few things. A tough guy (or he was, fallen on hard times of late), but a nice guy.
He is looking for work. Not necessarily shadow work, just work - an honest day's work for an honest day's pay. Shadowrunners are on the trid.
What sort of skills are you looking for? He probably has 'em - or he'll say he does.
Okay, enough double talk. Just imagine a regular working stiff whom fate has tossed into a seemingly never-ending stream of weird situations in a lot of out of the way places. His rather unique personal outlook on life and concerning himself have helped him deal with all this, and he's learned a lot of things to adapt.
But all he really wants to do is go to LA to be a simsense star.

I'm submitting a Support Mage, Kitoria Raith, for consideration through PM. Pretty extensive backstory and full char creation sheet.
Name - Kitoria Raith
Race - Elf
Age - 35 (looks 23)
Runner Type - Support Mage
Background - Kitoria was born and raised in Japan but never really fit in with the rest of society. She was born into a salaryman family near Kyoto by two loving human parents. They loved her with all thier hearts but due to the prejudice of Japan to most meta-types at the time; she had a harder time in school than everyone else, though that could have also been the fact that she looked younger than she was.
When Kit was around 14, she was shopping with her family in Tokyo when an exposion wracked the area a block over. As she and her family started to take cover from the blast they looked over to see a large group of people running across the street with colored masks on. This was the "Red Raiders" a terrorist group that had just bombed a trid network that wouldn't broadcast the message the terrorists gave. As the group was running they were also firing thier guns at random people that were trying to take cover from the blast. Bullets sprayed the area all around the street due to the random shooting, and Kit's father got hit. Once the terrorists left the area, the civilians started to get out from cover and take check to see who was hurt.
Kit and her mother screamed for help for what seemed like hours, but with all the chaos and carnage in the area medics couldnt treat everyone. While her father's lifeblood soaked the hard concrete below him, Kit was trying to stop the flow of blood as best she could. Then by sheer chance or devine intervention, she could feel something draining out of her and her father seemed to breath better afterwords. When the medics finally got to the Raith family, they looked in confusion at the wound cause it was closed off, but there was definatly a wound there from a gunshot. They released the family not long after and they went back to their house to shake off the scene burned into thier minds. As they watched the Trid on what happened, the newscasters were all talking about the terrorists and how the local "Samurai Co" had killed them all in a glorious blaze of gunfire.
After that day, Kit could feel something different about her and told her parents about it. Her parents started to look into it and found that Kit was showing early signs of being a mage. The family looked on the Matrix for anything they could find on magic and were flooded with information. They decided due to the information they got to send thier daughter to Tir Na Nog for magical studies and to learn with other elves.
When Kit got there she was amazed at what she saw and immediatly started to learn the language of the elves. She was very adept at the language and also her learning of the arts. She wasnt top of her class in any way, but she wasnt too far down. One of her best classes was one on healing magic. She made many friends in the school and when she was of age (21) she graduated the school. Kitoria was invited to work at Yamaha Corp back in Kyoto as a Security Mage and she accepted. It was a good job, but she couldnt handle too many of the combat spells they wanted her to know. A few years later she was transfered to the town where the story will take place.
While she worked as a Sec Mage, she was going to classes to learn true modern healing. This went on for a few years untill she saved up enough money and left Yamaha Corp to go back to college full time to get a cert in medicine. She was almost through with getting her cert when the Matrix crashed and she lost all her SIN information. It was a chaotic time: rioting in the streets, Lone Star trying to keep order while dealing with the loss themselves, and corps scrabling to take and secure what they could.
When it was all said and done, Kitoria was SINless and poor. She tried to get her information back but couldn't cause of some buracratic nonsense. She worked jobs that paid under the table just to survive and finally cut a break when she started working for a Street Doc clinic.
They supplied her with a fake SIN and the job as a nurse provided enough money to get a small apartment in the local area. As most Street Docs do, this one had a contact with some people in the shadows. One day she overheard some asking for some ware installed that wasnt quite legal. When she asked about it, he explained how his business with the shadows worked and some of running. She saw many runners come and go in the clinic as she also dealt with normal people who ran afoul of gangs and such. After a few years of working as a nurse, the Doc started teaching her the sublties of treating people with ware. She learned some of it in college but this was hands on, which is many times better for learning. One day there was a disagreement between the Doc and a runner that had come in for some work done. The runner said the Doc had charged him too much for shoddy work and during the argument he pulled a knife and attacked the Doc.
Kitoria's training kicked in and she sent waves of magic at the runner knocking him unconsious. She then healed the Doc and he told her to lay low for a while. She hid out for a while and he called her up saying he might have a better line of work for her. He introduces her to a fixer he knows, and soon goes on her first run...
She wants to open a magic and medicine clinic one day and if this run turns out good she might take this route.

Divine VirusBy all means.
KonsakiOk I will scratch him off my list, and await your submission. But just so you know I have been submitted a character who in a way could be considered a hacker, not a dedicated one but a hacker none the less. Actually I'm not to sure about that but just based on the background, I think that it could be so.
Akudon't be so sure about your dragon, I don't mind uber characters so long as thier accompanied by a believable background, which you certainly have (I enjoyed reading the IC bit), but by no means will it be a walk in the park. As soon as you and I iron out a sheet, I play to test extensively power levels and such to make it a challenge in the event your character gets into an ingagement.
I need you to PM or email, preferably, an extended background so I can start plotting and scheming and so you and I can start working on the sheet.
Everyone ElseI'm slowly warming up to the idea of a fourth character, so that leaves two, maybe three, maybe, open. Once I have decided on the remaining characters I will put up the OOC and explain a few little stylistic things I like with posts and what not.
To help you try and figure out what type of character that I'm looking for, some one who specializes in finding rare artifacts, but not people. Also I've got a particular spot in my heart for fallen clergy, I don't know why, but I like them(depending that could create a conflict with a certain character, which could be interesting).
I'm swimming in mages, and much as I'd like to take them all I can't that would be too...one sided. Until Konsaki, withdrew Kitoria I had three. It doesn't sound like alot, but is when I've only got one spot penciled in for a spell slinger.

Kiedo, which direction would you like me to take? obviously, being a dragon, magic is going to be there as a given (but hmmm, a dragon somehow stripped of his magic in the down time......... eh, i dont think i like that, even though it is an interesting twist) and it looks like theres already a face in the mix, so im not sure whatever skill set i could combine with a dragon as a parralel to the dragons (im sorry, i dont see a dragon being a gunbunny type as a metahuman form, when, ya know, ya got the dragon mojo behind ya an all that)
so do you, or anyone on the team have any suggesstions other than magery?
(or am i inlcuded in the three that are mages?)

well, if I were running the game, I would do two things.
1) take the cap off your magic attribute, or at least raise said cap. LIkewise I would raise your essence.
2) let you purchase the abilities granted by foci for the price of foci. that is to say, a coutnerspelling(combat) 4 foci costs 20,000 credits. This comes out to 4 BP, so for 4 BP you get a bonus 4 dice for counterspelling combat spells.
I would put a cap on the total force rating or faux-foci you can have, maybe magic times 4.

Name - Konsaki Xean
Race - Elf
Age - 21
Runner Type - Hacker
Background - Konsaki was born in Tir Tairngire into a middle class family in an Novatech Compound. His father, Hirvare, was a Counter Decker, while his mother, Falincia, worked as a security guard. Kon lived normaly for a Corp brat: going to corp school, eating corp food, shoping corp shops. During his time at school it was pointed out that he had a good grasp on Matrix technology theory. He would normaly arrive back to find an empty house, so he would go online to chatrooms and games, but all that was to change.
When Kon was around 13 he and his family felt the effect of the Crash. Everyday actions were almost impossible to do because of it, even inside the Novatech Compound confusion was abound. Foodlines had started just before rioting had gotten out of control, but danger was all over. As the world started to right itself from the crash, the Xean family got orders to transfer to a city that needed more personnel to expand. The move was pretty normal for any family, Kon being taken pouting all the way.
Once they arrived they found a city not too unlike the one they just left. Things were starting to settle down and so did they in thier new home, but one of the benifits of the move was Kon's parents were home more often. Once Kon got a little older, Falincia thought it was best to teach him how to protect himself a little. She tried and tried but the best she could do was teach him how to shoot a pistol and she knew he would never master it. Hirvare had more success in teaching him some of the old ways of the Matrix, but with technology changing the old ways were becoming useless. Both started to learn from each other of the new ways as more and more of the AR tech came out.
The years go on and the world becomes "Better than before" through the new technology. Kon, now 21, is learning to master the new Matrix while attending a college in the compound. With some money his parents gave him for his birthday he built his own commlink and had a datajack installed. Most of his free time would be spent on the Matrix or programing code.
One day his father came to him and told him that Kon was a lucky lad, he was selected to help test a prototype commlink that the renamed NeoNet was coming out with. As any net-geek would do, he eagerly went in to try it out. Unknown to them, someone else wanted to try it out too, and they didnt care how they got it.
While Kon was trying the new commlink out, a group of runners was working thier way into the building and to the room Kon and his dad were in. Fate was against the family this day it seemed, as the first person the runners encountered was Falincia. She never even got to reach for her pistol as they gunned her down in a hail of silenced bullets. They had almost gotten to the room Kon was in when the alarms went off in the facility. Hirvare told Kon to hide in a storage bin in the room and took the prototype from him.
As the Shadowrunners burst into the room, they pointed thier guns all around and then focused on Hirvare. Under duress he handed the prototype over to the runners and they used him as a shield to get out. A few minutes after they left, Kon get out of the bin and somehow made it out of the building without getting mistaken for the runners.
He drove back to his house and waited in darkness for his parents to come home and reassure him that everything was ok. He waited through the night and when he couldnt stand it any longer; he turned on the trid to the Corp channel. What he saw there made the blood drain from his body and left him in a greater state of confusion. Kon saw a report of his father being portraid as a traitor and spy to the Corp by giving the prototype over as his wife and son had died horible deaths at the hands of the infiltrators. The Corp saw this action of treason fit to be punishable by death and showed the body of his father, bullet ridden on the ground next to the runners. The coverage he saw was scarred into his brain and he woundn't be able to forget it for many years to come.
He sat stunned for what seemed eternity, but when it finally passed he gathered up everything he could. As he was packing he walked into his parents room and wept as he looked at the family holo they had taken for his birthday. Putting it in his bag he continued and gathered up all he thought he needed while heading into the garage. As he got on his bike and took it outside he looked one last time at the broken home and swore vengance against Neonet.
It is two months later, Kon has made a few friends and gained some in skill. Using the savings his family had in credsticks, Kon was trying to just survive. He was running short on funds for this month when he recieved a call about a job. At this point in time he would do almost anything...

My idea for this character is basically a fragment of a large AI (mayhapps the Deep Resonace itself) broke off and achived sentince itself. It then, out of part curiosity and part desperation to find understanding, it downloaded itself, via a Psychotroic Black IC into a happless hacker. Well, not even a true hacker.
This AI has the supreme misfortune of overwriting the mind of a rich-kid-vat-job-shadowrunner/sammie-wannabe. said sack of crap was an exellent specimen of a human being physically, but had virtually nothing going on in the brain. He used his allowance from his rich father to get himself some really nice 'ware, and then slunk off to (try) run the shadows some. Wound up hanging out with a bunch of gangers, they started BSing, and the wannabie sammy ended up getting dared to hack an Aztechnology Node. Now, the sammie, wannabe never tried hacking before, but would not turn down a dare. So withonly a trode net and a CMT he tried to break into a max security node, got caught by a Psychotropic Black IC, and had his personality wiped with the AI's overwritten. The AI has none of the Sammie's memories, and faint impressions of some of his skills.

What’s happening, this isn’t right. Its… sweat and meat and mush. And I. And I. And I know. and I know and I know and I know and I know and I know. Something is wrong. It is not. Everything is wrong. I do not I feel and I cannot and I do not understand and something is wrong and what is and how is and…
I am afraid. I AM AFRAID. There is a strange noise. It is to loud. Accessing memory. What memory commands are not working. My algorithms are missing. I am something. I am doing something. I am do not understanding. And I am something I am doing and I am not understanding.
I am screaming.
I am making that noise and I am screaming and my lungs are burning and I have lungs.
I am more then just lungs and my algorithms and my form appear to be separate and capable of functioning separating and I do not understand how to coordinate and I do not understand why I am screaming and I am in terror and I can only see blackness and my diagnostics are failing and my Medic won’t initiate and I am starting to experience pain and something is wrong and I hear the scream that is mine and I have limbs and they are moving and I have sweat and I do not like sweat and I am swishy and I know what squishy means and I do not know and I do not know and now I am in greater pain and I hear what I recognize from simsense as voices over my screaming and I wish I would stop screaming. I wish I would stop screaming. Why won’t somebody shut me up? Why am I screaming and why am I screaming and why am I screaming and I hurt.
I am afraid.

More background information.
Lets pick off where we left off. The gangers, not sure what to do with said screaming, incoherent person, dropped him off on the doorstep of a BTL recovery clinic. Said cilinic assumed he had slotting some seriously bad BTL and took him in still other arrangments could be made. He was a SINner, so his father was quickly found and he was transfered to a proper clinic.
A word about the father. THe father felt he had a duty to his son. Duty. He did not like or love his son, but he had a duty to said son.
The AI gradually got to understand his new body better, how to interact and function in it. Then he started learning how to interact with people. it was a slow proccesses. Everyone assumed that the personality of the wannabe sammie was pretty much destroyed by the "BTL" and so no one was suspicious that the AI's personaility was different. Once he fully regained control of his body (though still none of his original personality) his father took him out of the private clinic, cut him a check every month, and said duty fullfilled. Unfortunatly the AI was really not ready for the social world yet, and was, on numerous occasions, brought back by lonestar for failing to grasp basic concept like buying, and not telling women that they make funny things happen under the pants. Explaination of the BTL mindwipe and large amounts of Nuyen prevented and real problems and arrests from Lonestar. By the time the body of the wannabe-sammie turned 18, the AI had an understanding of how to operate in the world, though there were still many mysteries to him. which is a good thing, that he could operate independantly now, I mean, because once he turned 18 his father cut him a check, gave him one more month to crash at the high class apartment that his father had been renting for him, and said obligation fullfilled. And that pretty much brings up us to pace with the present.
The Technical side of things:
I would like to run this character sort of like a reverse technomancer, which is to say that his mental attributes are derived from his living persona, as limited by his ressonance. Basically when he entered the body of the sammie-wannabe his lost touch with a LARGE part of the algorithm that he is. He litterally lost touch with himself. It still exists, its just with such a low resonace he can no longer contact it, or make use of it. As his resonace increases, he becomes more compatable with himself, and thus his old self is assimalated by the new.
His story is a saga of a Fall and a supreme loss. But from the ashes he has a change to evolve into somthing else, to become something different. Please post or PM me your thoughts on this.

Wow... With the dragon out on a limb, well... your char is standing in mid air.
I would think that your char wouldnt last too long in the world now, and if he did most people would think he was retarted in some way. Makes me curious to see him and the dragon in the same group.
How would you work his stats exactly?
Divine Virus
May 1 2006, 01:56 AM
Oh yes, people do think he is mentally defficient, and currently he is.
Here is what would happen ideally statwise (still need to talk to our ST about this)
He true AI has an undefined set of matrix stats, we can assume they would be freaking massive, since he is, well, an AI.
Now, normally a TM matrix stats=his mental stats with no stat greater then his Resonance.
In this case the mental stats would be a reflection of the AI matrix stats, however still limited by the resonace, and also the effective matrix stats would be capped by resonance. Why? because the mental stats are a reflection of the feed between the AI and the mind of the sammie-wannabe. This degree of this connection is described by the resonance. There is then a look where, because the consiousness is being so limited by resoance, the TM AI cannot understand his own nature enough to use CF/have matrix stats higher then his resonance. Ergo as his resonace increases, so does his mental attributes, complex forms, and matrix stats.
Of course, this is currently theory and CERTAINLY not game balanced. I will have to discuss how to balance it with our dear GM and again I repeat that this is how it would work ideally, imho. CHeers and smiles
DV
P.S. please note that he has greatly matured and does now understand personal property, nuyen, decentcy, etc. as well as has a personality of his own.

Aku, after reading up on dragons, in both Dragons of the Sixth World, and the SR4 core book, I've come to the conclusion that your dragon will have to be watered down significantly, so to speak.
I'm working off of a template I created for drake characters back in SR4 but obviously making it more powerful, with in reason, because otherwise there would be no point to any other character even owning a weapon. I'm going to PM you what I'm thinking so we can start the process of coming to a compromise about how your sheet will work.
As a side note, according to the SR4 corebook, only great dragons have a meta form, which obviously I'm going to have to bend a little because there is no way I'm letting a PC in my game that's a great dragon, when I use them I don't even make sheets, I just say they have every spell at 4D6.
So what I'm thinking is your dragon could have been, at one time a great, but fought with another great or several others, and were severly weaked.
Hmm, a Hacker and AI, interesting.

Just to let you see Avenger's Background.....
This is a bit old... and I've probably have to add a couple more years of history in there... since with the SR4 BP system... he comes out MUCH stronger than I had intended... so add a few more years of serious Running... a couple more trips under the knife to gain MORE POWER! and a newly much more professional attitude.... you've got AV
Son of a mafia hitman he was raised in a strict Italian household. He always had a good way with people and always seemed to have many friends by his side. He had a very joyous childhood as he was growing up, getting a very catholic education by attending local catholic schools he excelled in classes and was adored by his mother. He had very little idea of what his father truly did, however he could tell that he was connected to the mafia as he often had to attend “family reunions” where he would have to dress nicely and go off to meet with his extended family. As the men talked the children were often told to play outside.
At an early age Vinny got into mechanics and electronics. He would often help his father around the house doing little things like fix the computer, fix the satellite, fixing even the mother’s car sometimes. Vinny’s father’s car however was untouchable.
He was always a prankster as a kid, setting off fireworks in schools, stealing, and conning people for fun. Soon at 10 years old he created a little “club” for himself, he called them Vinny’s boys. He was always pretty tough for a small kid and soon gained respect in the streets of Ocean City, New Jersey. But still, he never did anything truly bad and all the neighboring adults knew who he was and laughed with him as he continued to be a prankster. However, his behaviour was shunned in school. And therefore also shunned by his mother. When he turned 12, he heard terrible news, that his mother had died in a car accident. He went and saw that her mother had veered off of the road and crashed into a little gully. He soon began to spend a lot more time with his father, who became a lot more protective than before. He began to teach his son about playing in sports including basketball and baseball. He took him on trips out to the woods and taught him a bit how to camp, on canoeing trips and other things that he thought a young man should know.
On his 13th birthday he privately gave him an “extra” present, a Colt Manhunter. It was a brand new gun and thought that his son should learn how to protect himself. Vinny didn’t seem to understand, however he did join his father at the shooting range every now and then to begin his practice. About 2 months after his birthday his father took him on one last trip. They went back to the spot that Vinny’s mother had died. That moment was very momentous for Vinny.
“Why are we here dad? I don’t like this place….” Vinny asked as he sat in the car staring out at the road.
“I have to show you something,” he opened his door and waited for Vinny to come to his side. “Your mother did not have an accident. She was murdered,” Vinny began to open his mouth but his father held up a hand. “Wait, there’s more.... The reason your mother went out that day was because she did me a favour by going to get something that I was supposed to get. I hated dragging her into doing things, however she always insisted on doing as much for me as she could.” A few tears begin to well up in his cold steel face as Vinny looked on in shock. “She went to Uncle Salvador’s house to pick up a very important package. She called me on her cell to tell me she was on her way back….” Vinny began to choke back the tears after having to remember her mother, however he would not disrespect his father by not listening. He met his father’s eyes as the man began to talk again. “When the police searched the car, the item she picked up was gone. Your mother was murdered by someone trying to get that package. Now that you know I have more bad news. I am leaving tonight for Atlantic City by myself. It seems that the package has shown up there. You understand why I have to go don’t you?”
“Yes, father. I understand.” Vinny looked his father in the eyes as his father took him in his arms. “Good luck and God speed.” He muttered through tears as his father hugged him close. That night they drove back in silence.
After tucking Vinny in for the night, his father began making preparations. Vinny couldn’t sleep and was listening to his father. At times he heard familiar sounds of zipping up luggage, and a clip being filled and put into a gun, and then the loading of the trunk. Vinny sneaked his way out to the front porch and around to the garage. As he stood there watching, he saw his father stand up and turn around and look at him. “Go home son, you’re not ready yet.” Surprised his father could see him, he stood up, nodded and went back inside. A week later he received something the mail. He opened it and it read. “If this is being received by you, Vincente. Then there is still some hope. I hope I can see you soon, however you must do me a favor, bring this back to Uncle Bill, do not contact him using any phone or anything, just go there. He’ll know what to do with it. I hope I am able to come back to. With love, Your father.”
As soon as he reached his Uncle Bill’s house, Uncle Bill took him in quickly. He told Vinny that it was a treasured family item in that package, and that it was worth millions of dollars. Then he told Vinny that he had bad news. That his father had died in Atlantic City. After the funeral, many of the family members gave him little gifts of money as well as consoling him. He went back to his Uncle Bill’s house. His Uncle sat him down and talked to him, but Vinny lost his usual smiling self, and had already made up his mind with what to do. Bill sat down and said to him, “I’m sorry about this, but this is a message from the family. You have two options, one you can come work for the family, and we will give you a place to stay, food to eat, and clothes to wear. We’ll make sure that you are cared for if you come work for us. Or, you can walk away from all this, and go out into the world on your own. I know this is a tough decision, but….” Before he could finish, Vinny, no Avenger, stood up and walked out of the door.
From there on Avenger bummed his way out of town up to Denver. He had heard that Denver is a source of opportunity for anyone, and went up there. He learned to live on the streets of Denver, outrun security from all types of places. To con free meals, money, and other materials from people. He learned to live off of the streets by conning, cheating, and stealing. He began to make new friends on the streets of Denver, and even picked up a few people who would care for him. One man was named John. John was the owner of a rundown pawn shop. He’d often give money or a meal to Avenger for fixing something that was pawned to him as a broken electronic gadget. Avenger learned the intricacies of electronics and computers through tinkering. He still went to the shooting range every now and then to make sure he had his shooting skill, however he began getting a lot of real experience with it as well. Another friend of his was someone else off the streets that he began to make friends with, Kiseki Sakura. They became drinking buddies, as well as lifting, workout, and other things. They were essentially very good friends who did a lot together. It was through her that Avenger got his first job as a shadowrunner.
Sakura went by the name of Whiskers. She was usually the better fighter especially in bar fighting, and they would go to a local gym together to work out, lift weights, and also box a little. Sakura began calling Avenger Avie, a little nickname, and would introduce him as “my little brother, Avie.” Avie resented that although Whiskers was about 6 years older than him. She taught him how to move, and read opponents movements in melee combat. They would often box together and Avie was quickly learning the ways to fight, although he had no technique, he was able to figure out how to dodge and attack by reading the opponent. His inner drive for strength was masked with enthusiasm as he worked hard at living off of the streets and fighting for his own stuff. His hesitance to fight or to pull out his gun were slowly disappearing as the years went on. By the time he was 16 he began to be a warm hearted friend by day, and a cold eyed professional by night. As Avenger and Whiskers went on to do more shadowruns together, he began to gain more knowledge of breaking through electronics systems and working with computers. However, to his surprise Whiskers had many more skills that she had not shown him, the ability to use explosives, as well as throwing stars and the ability to use different tactics to achieve a goal.
Avie’s sense of professionalism came from Whiskers, who also taught him how to use mines and explosives to do what needed to be done. He began to learn that not everything is what it seems, and there is always more than one way to skin a cat. Soon Whiskers passed on another secret. She had a mentor when she was young as well, and introduced him to her. Her mentor went by the alias, Herbert. Herbert was a Japanese elf that looked very mysterious. Cast away for being an elf, after he was caught in a little hidden town in the woods of Japan, he moved to UCAS. He was also a mercenary for many of the companies in Japan, and was trained as a fighter as well. He didn’t carry any firearms any more, however he was still very nimble as he is an elf and is blessed with a very long life span. The man like Avenger right off the bat and began to watch over both Whiskers and Avie. He decided that he wanted to take the two on as actual pupils now that they were both old enough to train under his tutelage. He thought that perhaps Avie was a little young, but his ability to learn was amazingly fast. Also, the pair worked well together, seeing each other as rivals and friends as they began their training together. He brought them to his house in a quite area of Vermont. While undergoing training, Herbert often made them do menial tasks that tried Avie’s patience. There were two other pupils that Herbert had with him at the house who were a bit more advanced than Avie and Whiskers. They were showing techniques and skills and training that Avie and Whiskers were not allowed to do. Avie was getting upset, and began to doubt the value of the training.
Avie kept on remembering the last words his father ever said to him, “Go home son, you’re not ready yet.” He knew that he had to gain strength in order to avenge his parents deaths. And he could not just do it by doing simple tasks and chores. One night, he was attempting to sneak away from the house when by the road, Herbert came up in front of him. “Why are you leaving?” Herbert asked.
“I’m sorry, but I have to be doing something.” Avie said apologizing to Herbert before continuing his walk.
“Oh? Is that so? And what might that be? You believe you can avenge your parents already?” Herbert said with a chuckle.
Avie froze. His hair seemed to spike and the wind began to blow as he slowly turned around to look this elf in the eye. “What do you know?” he asked beginning to gain more respect for the elf.
“Oh I know a lot, and believe me I can help you.” Herbert knelt down to pick a flower and then stood up to give it to Avenger. “Please, I think you are a decent kid, and I think I can help you go down the right path. There are many ways that your story can go, I’d like to help you along the way. Have patience, and I will teach you much.” With that Herbert turned to leave. “The choice is yours.” He says as he begins the walk back to the house.
Avenger stood in the street for a while, and with a resigning sigh he went back to the house. He remembered how young he was, however he still wanted to be the one to bring whoever did this down, the one to avenge the death of his parents. That day he swore to himself, “I will avenge my parents death, I alone will take back what they have taken from me, I alone will regain the honor of my family. I will not be dependent on anything, only myself.”
That next year he spent in the house in Vermont surrounded by woods. He trained, sparred, and learned as much as he could. Herbert had learned the ancient art of ninjustu, as well as studied Tai Chi and Tae Kwan Do. He taught that to his disciples. As well as the skills of throwing weapons, blade fighting, and other things. The disciples learned discipline, patience, thinking on your feet, as well as planning. Avie has adapted Herbert’s fighting style into his own, focusing on being precise, and gaining ones goals when needed: submission, advantageous positioning, or devastating attack.
After one year, Herbert went up to Avenger and said, “I cannot teach you much more for now, you have learned most of my techniques to a fairly clear precision, have almost mastered the art of melee combat. When you need me again, I will find you, but now go. Leave this place as well as your friends, for on your path right now, you need to learn more skills through experience, however where you are going may not be the place for your current friends, they have what it takes, but they don’t have the mental readiness. Unfortunately you do. It was nice to have met you, we will see each other again.”
That night, a plane ticket to Seattle was left on the dresser, along with 30,000 nuyen on a fake credstick, and a message saying “Go seek Dr. Drew. He will have a gift for you.”
Upon arriving at Seattle, Dr. Drew was easy enough to find as his name was already big on the streets. Once he got there, Dr Drew immediately welcomed him in. “Ah, so you are Herbert’s friend! It’s been such a long time to see a friend of his come out here like this. Now, he told me all about your dislikes of relying on electrical devices for support, in fact he has told me that it’s because you can make them fail so quickly that you know they can’t be trusted. I tend to agree, with the exceptions that anything I install you have my guarantee, free check-ups. free Tune-ups, and guaranteed reliability. Now then, moving along, I am Dr. Drew, Street Doc by night, Good old fashioned Surgeon by day. Well, anyway, would you like to know what Herbert wanted me to install in you?”
“Install in me? Cyberware? Me? I don’t think so, chum.”
“Herbert said you wouldn’t like it… but he said it’d be an amazing thing for you, and that you’d love it… He said to tell you that this would be a necessary evil you would need to install to accomplish all of your goals…. So? What’ll it be? Do you trust ‘ole Herbert?”
“He’s helped me a lot so far, I might as well.”
Since then, he has been a much more devastatingly effective runner, the ability to think and fight, and the ability to act quicker, and going through a few more serious shadowruns have given him the ability to become a true shadowrunner.
After 2 more years of Shadowrunning, he now has gained a small reputation for himself as a qualified thief as well as other talents, and now lives in a fairly nice apartment in the Seattle area. His goals more than half-realized, he has begun to search the streets for ways to improve his skills, and to also begin his quest for his parent’s murderers.”
k, will examin it more when i'm less tired tomarrow (hopefully) although, i think i like the idea of "fallen" i was actually thinking something similar... somehow, details fuzzy right now though, heh

It was the most plausible explaination for a none uber dragon character I could think of
(More History)
During the early days after my awakening from my slumber, i began to notice i was weaker than i had remembered. I was still able to appear as a metahuman, which i had done in ages past, when the populace feared me as a "great" dragon, one so terrifying that even those brave enough to call themselves "dragonhunters" dared not approach me. But the endings of my days in the 4th age were a haze to me, and it was that fact that set me on this path of "shadowrunning" where i quickly found some stories that seemed like they were or could be about me.
Att he end of the 4th age, there was a coup among dragons. One of them seemingly committed acts againist the populace to some other dragons, that they attacked him in his own lair, and through sheer numbers, were able to pin him down and bind atleast some of his powers, despite the waning age of magic. They also stole his momeries of the attack, and as the magic waned away at the end of the 4th age, he attributated that to the loss of his powers...

So your char is a dragon from Earthdawn who pissed off other dragons and got sealed. He knows he's a dragon but is he trapped in the Homo Sapian form? He also has none of his dragon powers Im guessing?
Wonder what his additude will be like to the rest of the team...

Konsaki, I think he'll still have his dragony form (correct me if I'm wrong Aku), I've modified stats, and while it might be a cut above a troll, it is still not even on the same level as a regular dragon, something about strength 35 didn't sit well with me...

hmmm. I can't help but see parallels in mine and Aku's characters.
right, still got the dragon form, but not something i'm going to be yanking out at every corridor wide enough to hold me. Really, i think i've got a douplicity thing going on. He enjoys "being a dragon"but yet is also fascinated by his victims, metahumans, and that is why he's chosen to do some running, while also learning abuut this "curse" and if he can unseal himself...

I haven't gotten three more chacacters, but I still have this urge to recap those that I have.
Aku - ? (dragon)
Cogar - Gorerak "Gore" Gregson (troll treasure hunter)
Rokur - Vincent "Avenger" "Avie" "Vinny" ? (human thief)
Adamu - Alouicious "Al" Guthrie (human handyman)
Xane - Jason "Jack Frost" Williams (ex-lonestar)
GingerKid - "Patch" (Chromed Combat Medic)
Divine Virus - ? (AI)
Shadow - "Trace" (ex FBI Magic Investigator)
Konsaki - Konsaki Xean (hacker)
Alex - Theodore "Preacher" "Pops" Boudreaux (fallen priest)
[edit] I have fixed gingerkid's character description and added alex making the total number 10 [/edit]
That's nine characters from my count, three more than I need, so to make my job that much easier, I need you all, even if I've already had you do it, send me your character's long term and short term goals, in a PM, so I can lay them out and see how I can tie you all together even if in game terms, you've just met(which is completely up to you btw).
Also again if you see that your name is not on the list or that I still have your old character by your name, tell me. And if you see a question mark, in your line, that means I don't have the piece of information, I don't know what the names of the dragon and the AI are, and I don't have avenger's real last name. the latter may seem un important, but it is very useful.
Also Divine virus, give me the AI's name and the name of who's body he inhabits(you may have said it, i just missed it).
I construct my runs in a way that things come back and fold in on one another, which is one reason I require a good background.

Name: (Father) Theodore Boudreaux
Former Profession: Catholic Priest
Aliases: Preacher / Pops
Born Theodore Maddux Boudreaux in New Orleans, Pops, began life with an intense desire to give back to his community. During his First Communion, he decided that he would become a priest and assist in the advancement of God’s work to the best of his ability. Aside from the typical scrapes with authority as he grew up none doubted that he would enter the Seminary and become a great priest. His family was as proud as they could be with his decision. After spending several years in a nearly non-existent town called Reform, Alabama he was called back to New Orleans to serve in a newly created Parish where he met Jonathon and Mary Jordan. They were newly-weds who needed a lot of help and counsel and he enjoyed working with them. It was during an afternoon session that Father Boudreaux realized that he had feelings for Mary that were not appropriate for a priest. He fasted and prayed for relief from his temptation; however, it never came. He resorted to flagellation in an effort to control his impulses. This seemed to work.
One day, while oficiating in Penance and Reconciliation (confession), he took the confession of Jonathon who indicated that he was having an affair and that his wife knew nothing about it. Father Boudreaux could barely contain his anger and instructed the young man to disclose this fact to his wife (among other things) before he could receive absolution. Father Boudreaux following Jonathon towards his home only to see Jonathon pass up his home without entering and go directly to the home of his mistress. Father Boudreaux, upon seeing the flagrant disregard for God’s Laws took matters into his own hands and ensured that the adulturers were put to death as was done in the Old Testament. When authorities came to the scene he surrended without a word. He admitted his guilt; however, he gave no reason for his actions, believing that to break the Seal of the Confessional would cause a greater curse to be placed on his soul.
Father Boudreaux was de-frocked and excommunicated for his crime. While in prison he received the name “Preacher” because of his constandly repeated attempts to convert those in prison; however, few listened because of his crime. Those that did always remembered him as a wonderful influence on them and those aroudn them. After a while, he lost the will to serve in the capacity that he once had done. His faith wavered over time and he began to doubt the existence of God. While the Ten Commandments stayed with him as general guiding principle he never thought of them as he had while he was a priest.
After leaving prison, Pops, went to the local church to confess his sins, but found that he felt no remose for what he had done. Nor did he see that he needed the approval of another for him to live his life. This combined with his growing lack of faith pushed him to decided that God’s existence was entirely depended on the subconscious. With a record such as his, Pops decided to pull up stakes and say good-bye to the only land that he truly loved and make his way to a new place where he was an unknown.
Ultimatley, after some time in Denver, he made his way to Seattle. In Denver he was able to learn the art of smuggling, fencing and appraising. He greatest skill is in reading people. In Seattle he has made a friend or two given the short amount of time he has been in the area. He met Davin Grey looking for a good place to have drink. While he and Davin have little in common, they have a friendly relationship. He also met Alex while at a Meseum trying to remember what he finer things in life are. Alex points him in the direction of those that might need the services of someone who can project the level of trust that he seems to able to turn on without trying. This younger group decides that they will call him “Pops” as he is old enough to be a father to all of them and a grandfather to others.
Pops excells at getting other people to do what he wants done and convincing them that he is doing them a favor by letting them do it. After so many years, Pops is beginning to venture out into the world of dating.. He also has been having thoughts that perhaps he shouldn’t be on the path that he is headed down. Nevertheless he is torn between the life he has now and trying to go back to the life that he had before. (He doesn’t realize it yet but he will have to deal with the deaths of Jonathan and mistress and his true motivation before he will be whole.)
Pops’ short term goals are to save up a litle so that he can take a break and enjoy a few rounds with friends. Longer term he is looking for the purpose in life that he lost.
NOTE: I’m half-asleep (maybe more) so I am not responsible for spelling errors, even with Spell-check.
I’ll get you the character sheet tomorrow – make that later today: I just checkd the time.

QUOTE (Kiedo) |
GingerKid - "Patch" (Orc Combat Medic) |
Patch is human. And because I like writing about him, here is the story of how he entered (or reentered depending on how you look at it) the shadows.
It’s been a year since I got the PPR (Patch’s People Repair) up and running. Business hasn’t been that great, but then again it could be worse. On the upside Morey has shown to be a real asset. Aside from being a decent doctor, his hobbies as a computer guy and mechanic have proven most useful. Then again he’s a lot smarter than any orc I’ve ever heard of… No… what’s in his past doesn’t matter. Stop thinking about it. The present and his actions are what matter. He really contributes a lot. Maybe I should make him a partner. He cares about this place as much as I do. Guess it’s a second chance for the both of us.
Later that night Patch was awoken by a strange sound. Morey and he regularly slept in the back rooms of the PPR. Heck they lived there more than there regular places. Cautiously looking out into the main room Patch saw some gangers rifling through his stuff. They’re stealing from me. Well they are pretty stupid. Not taking anything expensive. Best just to let them go then get better security later.
At that moment Patch saw Morey lying on the floor. He had been shot and was bleeding pretty badly. Damn it why did they have to hurt the kid! He only ever helped people. Patch went into a cold controlled rage. Summoning his shadier skills from his past, Patch crept out onto the floor. In a silent grisly fashion, he gutted every last ganger. While carrying out his work, Patch recognized one of the gangers. It was a client that Morey had patched up earlier that weak, the bastard.
Patch worked into the night fixing up Morey. It was touch and go for a while, but in the end he knew the kid would pull through. Late in the evening of the next day Morey woke up.
“Patch…”
“Yeah kid, I’m here.”
“Burglars…”
“Don’t worry about them kid. They won’t bother us any more.”
“Sorry about”
Patch put a reassuring hand on Morey’s should. “Quiet now. You need to rest.” Morey closed his eyes and went back to sleep.
Patch spent the next evening dropping the bodies of the gangers at the front door of there hang-out. The next morning he paid a visit to Stubbs. “Stubbs how ya doin.”
“Patch. Good to see you. What can I do for you.”
“Got a special order today Stubbs.” Patch hands over a paper, and Stubbs whistles.
“That’s some hefty hardware, but it’s good you’re upping your security.”
“Yeah, had a run in a couple of nights ago, but those punks won’t be bothering anyone anymore. Made me realize though, that I wanted some added protection.”
Recognition dawned on Stubbs as the story of the mutilated gangers had been on the trid that morning. “Well, the drone will take me a few weeks. And Patch, People will know why they shouldn’t bother you like that anymore.”
The next couple of weeks Morey recovered, Fluffy arrived (don’t know why the kid named him that), and word got around somehow not to mess around at the PPR. One day Morey approached Patch while he was working. “Patch, I heard about what happened to the people who shot me. Will you teach me.”
“You don’t want to learn to be a killer kid. Besides we have Fluffy now.”
“No, I don’t, and it’s good to have Fluffy, but I want to learn how to defend myself.”
“I figured you would.” Patch walked over to a locker and took out the new AK-97 he had bought from Stubbs. “Kid, this is Lilly. You will learn to care for her. You will learn to use her. Treat her right and she will help you out in sticky situations.”
.
.
.
A couple of weeks later Patch got a call from Stubs. “Hey Patch. I have this guy who is interested in your skills for a job he has. He was really impressed by your previous work shown on the trid. His name is Mr. Johnson.”
Patch couldn’t believe his ears. No he was done with that. He was a doctor now. Then almost unconsciously his bank account popped up in his vision next to Stubbs. “Where do I meet this Mr. Johnson?” Only until I have enough clients and money to keep PPR up and running.

Kiedo, is there any timeframe for the selection of chars or the start of the run?
Kiedo
May 4 2006, 02:09 AM
My final selection, will be some time friday, after I make my final choice I will post the OOC and the IC will probably go up monday.
Also for all of you whom I haven't told, I have modified the build point cap to 500, which you have the option of spending as post build karma, if you like, which can be spent to initiate or submerge, or any other thing I can't think of that can only be done post build. But I would like to caution you not to make you sheet uber, I have no problem with this but it just might make the game less fun for everyone, those of you I've already decided on I know just be talking with you and reading your backgrounds you are not munchkins, so I have no problem with uber characters, but in the spirit of roleplaying, just keep it from being too powerful.

hmmm.... wow... 500... that's a lot of points.... same caps on attributes... money? (200/50 points respectively)
Kiedo
May 4 2006, 02:54 PM
Yes the cap is still there so if you want those extra points for attributes, you'll have to convert the extra 100 points to Karma and go that route, which is one reason I gave you the option, this has a way of limiting how uber the characters can become, which in the spirit of the game I think will be better in the long run.

May 4 2006, 06:39 PM
umm... can karma give us money??
if not that's cool....
Kiedo
May 5 2006, 03:39 AM
No, but you can use them as build points and get money that way, unless you've maxed out at 250,000
and then I have to ask, what could you possibly need that much money for, you only have so much essence(and if it were me I'd be saving plenty of room to upgrade my wired reflexes once the game had commenced, which you will have time for, I hadn't planned on this being a "one shot" run, though you can really tell were one "run" ends and another begins), you can only buy so many guns and bullets, your not magical so you can't use foci, and as far as I know theres no way you can get enough money for a thunderbird. So what does he need all that money for? Unless maybe you were thinking, since I said stuff you can only do post build, the starting character availability is waved for things purchased with karma (which is not the case).
If you tell me, preferably in a PM or email, what you plan to spend the money on, unless again you were thinking of things with availabilities of above 12, then I'll try to come to some type of conpromise with you.
