Anytime there is a major sporting event the possibilities for Shadowrunners expand in to the realm of professional sports. So is anyone working on any runs for World Cup 2070?
Where are you setting it?
Who's in (for example do AAA corps get to field "national" teams?)
and most importantly (Spoiler if necessary) what are you contracting runners to do?

At present I am not planning on a World Cup run but I have a few thoughts:
1. Change the bookies odds after the game for the client.
2. Remove a player from competition - no killing.
3. Convince a player that it is in his best interest to take a dive.
4. The ref might think twice about that yellow card if his sweatheart is "in a secure location".
5. The cup itself may go missing and the league wants it back.

Hummm, this is gonna be good.
1: Run at short notice to get a game abandoned, (no life loss on either team).
2: Cause a star player to have a "Training accident" and miss the tourney.
3: Infiltrate a match disguised as one of the teams, or part thereof, and "throw" the match.
Damn, world cup fever hit the 6th world.

So is there a World Cup in 2070? They come every four years, the next one would be 2072.
