Anyone have been succesfull to make a 1 million nuyen.gif troll with a lot of cyber?

What was it like? Did it worked well?
Lindt
He caught bullets. Lots and lots of bullets. He stood a reasonable chanc of staging down an assault cannon. Or had enough overflow body to suck 3 hit anyway.

I've seen that before. Generally you end up with a nigh-invincible monster that has difficulty fitting through doors, but that's loud, memorable and lacks people skills (and so isn't fully appropriate for a shadowrun).
Kagetenshi
That's a very narrow view of a shadowrun. As long as you find a way to convince him never to appear in public (BTLs are a good way to do this), having someone that isn't the rest of your team fixed so clearly in everyone's memory that no one would remember anything about anyone else can be very valuable.

They're quite good for causing distractions.
And though they tend to attract more cops than other character types, they're also more able to deal with them.

Assuming that getting in fights all the time is what you really want ^_^

Ok, I get the idea...

The problem is that my gaming group is having some lack in muscles:

We have 2 mages
A decker
A rigger/face
and possibly a stealth specialist (phys ad.) who is not ranged-combat based.

So, I wanted to incorporate some "guns" in this pool of characters as a NPC (yes, I'm the GM).

So, adding a big guy could have been fun both for roleplaying purpose and for utility purpose.

However, the team has not been tested yet on the field. Perhaps the mages and the rigger will be able to deal with serious encounters...

If the Rigger is well-built, they will be several slightly more fragile cybertrolls at once.

If not, things could go badly.

An ork with discrete cyber (or an adept) is slightly less likely to accidentally kill off all the rest of the party while fending off two Lone Star HTR teams.

Even an ork with .001 Essence will attract somewhat less attention than a moderately cybered troll.
For the ultimate in subtle muscle, an all-bioware or masked adept human is best.

And significantly less likely to hold off the HTR teams long enough for the rest of the party to get away somewhere else.

That said, for this purpose it sounds like the better option.

Hmmm... heavily biowared ork... with the "human looking" edge... ^_^

This is goood!

Thank you guys, I like your ideas! ^_^
