I searched for this but did not get any results so I am coming here with it. I do not have my book handy as I am at work but I was curious about something. If I take - Improved Physical Attribute, Agility lvl 2 (+2 Agi) is the cap on this limited by my racial amount or my aug. racial amount?
Also is the skill boost for an adept limited by the max dice pool for that specific skill? example if I have 4 pistols that would mean the max modifier dice would be 2 for a total of 6
any info would be helpful here.

Yes, they are both limited.
The agility one would be limited by your augmented limit.
I wouldn't recomend getting improved atribute agility though, one whole magic point (2 if it is over the racial norm) is way to much power points to waste in my mind. Maybe look at attribute boost agility, it takes a simple action, but can be very useful with even one level in the ability.

My understanding of improved attribute was as follows, up to your unaugmented max you pay 1 PP per Att point. From your unaug max to your aug max it takes 2 PP per Att point, still limited by your aug max.
I believe the errata on the skill boost is you can only have up to half your skill. It essentially equalizes adepts who take no cyber/bio with sammies. Meaning you can have pistols 6 (9) with the improved skill at max. (or 7(10) if you roll that way)
