here us a summary list of the comics that are sorta related to shadowrun. Added some new ones in here.

Thanks Platinum, just what I need! Another way to waste my timie instead of working, taking care of the kids, paying attention to my wife, etc....

No problem, just wait until I rope you into my online MSN games. MUhahahahahaahhahaa

I think is it a mage/werewolf/vampire comic more than shadowrun. Missing some cyberware... but worth the read...

Added Beyoned Apocalyse and a new category.

I wish I could find an online comic - any online comic - that wouldn't suck. I have to agree that some of the ones posted here are a lot better than the last time I futiliy tried to find something good, but either the drawing is shite, the story is satirical (which is okay, I suppose, but not what I'm looking for), the story is shite, or the navigation of the website is shite.

NYC 2123 might be worth checking out, perhaps.
DV8
Alright, I take it back, NYC 2123 is very good. smile.gif
Platinum
ok I added a new one ... about some couriers and an assassin.

http://www.bfxproject2.com/

Out of all of those you thought only 1 was good? The one's hosted on windweaver were great. Pure eyecandy and the story is pretty good as well. just needs a little more time to develop. Did you check out levelmanga? Guess people have much higher standards than I do.
DV8
Well, I have come to realise that I have very high standards when it comes to comics and animation. I took a look at all of them, perused it, and judged it (quickly) on several things like visuals, story, language (if everyone in the story talks like Captain Hardcore, than most likely I'm not going to find it appealing) and website design, which, sadly, is part of the experience of reading these online comics. NYC 2123 was by far the best, and very enjoyable. I read them all in one push. smile.gif

for everyone else other than dv8 wink.gif ... I found another ... it is ok ... kinda in the cyberpunk genre. http://www.vigilantecomics.co.uk/justice.html*new

So much for "high standards", eh? wink.gif

Added under modern day.

Wasn't really keen on them, so I had left them out. There is a huge list that I check weekly that I left out as well, as they were in a fantasy setting.
Kagetenshi
I wouldn't consider either of them to fit in here, really. Sluggy's had arcs that would fit (mostly stuff involving whatshername), but overall it isn't a good matchup.

I'm waiting currently for Bleeding Weapons to start up. Its supposed to be starting this year, and the artist is very dedicated to his work, updates his other comic (Commissioned Comic) daily I don't think he has missed a day in over 1,000 comics. Its not up yet, but I have high hopes for it.
Blade
That's some thread necromancy here...
But now I can't do anything but insert a plug about my own Shadowrun webcomic :

heh, don't forget about weregeek whenever they go into their immersion of their shadowrun game. But that's about it for that comic.

In Megatokyo's defense, anything that doesn't involve Piro actually is pretty Shadowrun-esque. Obviously there isn't a direct parallel here, but Largo does seem to be a pretty skilled hacker, circa 2070. He's got computer skills, Matrix skills (the defense of the store's internet when the fans discovered where their idol worked) and has experience as a spider / rigger (store security, ph34rb0t5). Then you've got Ed and Dom, Sony and Sega's Black Ops teams (which is reminscent of most of the strike teams you see written about) and the Rent-A-Ninja (also something I could see happening)...hell, you just have to handwave Rent-A-Zilla as a dragon and you're about set.

I know everyone goes "omg american japanese comics in my dystopia!!!" but there is a good comparison there. Even if anything involving Piro has steadily spiraled into self-indulgent.

[shameless plug]

A friend and I have a web comic too. It is moving fairly slow and needs more updates but it is getting there.

The Decker Nexus

It will have other shadowrun related stuff too and has a small but active forum.

I just remembered that I promised Kirsten, the author of NSTA, a set of shadowrun builds for NSTA agents but never did it.
Now I feel like a bastard.

I felt it just kept sliding down after Largo left. I haven't touched that comic in years.

For me, I'm a stupid romantic. I read romance novels and I'm trying to write some. So it starting to put a little more attention on that I was okay with.

But between all the delays in him getting comics up, with the small, almost millimeter movement of the plot between Piro and Kimiko and the random sidetrips into the weird with Largo, I just gave up. Now I wait for the compilations to come out.

I updated the list of comics, Put *NEW beside new comics I have added, and a new category.

As this is a general list I didn't think it would be fair to exclude some comics from the list. Although some I would not have put here myself.

I think you all should sheck out Red a cyberpunk fairytale
it's pretty cool.
Mr. Man
Among The Chosen

I don't read it (waiting for the print edition) but it fits.
Platinum
ok red and chosen are posted. I saw red a year ago ... just it takes forever to update so I forgot about it.
