But the thing is, I'll have it so patrolling permabound spirits will break their patrols to attack you if you have the right spirit bane. And insect shamans will try to ambush you in your sleep to calm their spirits. And spirits using Search on you will have an easier time of it, lowered thresholds and shit.
I should nerf Spirit Banes, too. They're kinda weak as it is.
Okay, here's the nerf, since you have, like, 8 of them. No offense, Fortune, but you're really trying to push boundaries here, tenuous as they are.

Whenever a spirit Searches for you, if you're its bane, its threshold is lowered by the number of banes you have, so that they'll get exponentially more painful as you accumulate them. So if you have 5 banes and you're being Searched for by an insect spirit queen that you're the bane of, it'll have a -5 reduction to its threshold. That makes each bane worth 10 BP. And if you roll a glitch on an Edge test while passing by one, it'll randomly attack you. A critical glitch brings its friends.
