I keep hearing about how Lofwyr's a genius and shit. Has anyone made a really byzantine plot involving him? I wanna know.

Yes we have, though I personally prefer the Machiavellian ones. The Byzantine plots always spur the song about Istanbul vs Constantinople.

Play when a Runner team reaches an Objective.
Put that Objective at the bottom of the owner's Objective pile and replace it with the top card of the Objective pile. The team must face the requirements of the new Objective.

Lofwyr is a recurring character in my campaign. It's a result of a power-play between him and the PCs patrons. To complicate matters, one of the PCs wound up the legal guardian of a street orphan that was involved in a previous attempt by Lofwyr to exploit one of the patrons.
Whenever he gets bored (or the PCs get complacent) he comes by to stir things up. If the PCs actually begin to pose a threat to him, he might lose his sense of humour, but for now they are a pleasant diversion.
