Doc Bones nips on his drink. "I'm a medic, as you guessed already." He nods to Wolfgar. "I've worked as a medic in a merc unit, I survived Bug City and I have a solid knowledge of magical stuff, even though I'm no spellslinger. I can use computers and commlinks, can shoot with most weapons and - most important of all - can stitch you together in no time."
warrior_allanon
"Alright then folks," Wolfgar said as the last of them finished their introductions. "I would say we need to come up with some kind of plan before we literally Ship out. However, i would like to cover something else first, who is in command of this little mission. Now i will do if the rest of you want, but quite frankly, in my old team i was the guy that shot holes in everyone elses plans and then when the drek hit the fan I took control."

Wolfgar looked out over the rest of the group waiting for their response.
Grinder
"Agreed. Let's say we meet again in 45 minutes? At the docks?"
Sion_Smee
"Sounds good, just one last thing, if we are going to be working together we really should exchange comm numbers"
Trigger
Who is going to lead us?....I could...maybe... Agent thought their team and who was going to take control of it. He wasn't used to working with others as much as some of the other guys, but he knew how to plan a snatch and grab, especially on the water and he was most likely the most seaworthy of them also. If anyone was going to be able to lead these guys along the coast and hit this other boat it was going to be him.

"I could lead if you want, as I am the most seawise of us and probably the most adept at running a snatch and grab on the water," Agent piped in to the group while also sending out a ping to their comms with his number.
warrior_allanon
"Thats a good point Agent, honestly i dont know jack about ships, but i hope to learn fast so your in charge until everything goes to hades. Now, the charges i passed the schematics of to the boss, they're for sinking the ship after we leave and as a last ditch effort to stop the ship if we have to. I dont plan on leaving any survivors when we leave the ship, but we dont have to shoot them all coming in. Load heavy pack lethal and be prepared to use them, i'll see you in 45 minutes." With that Wolfgar stands and leaves the room. He walks from the bar to his bike and takes off without further word.
Sion_Smee
"It's always better to have somone volunteer to lead. Someone pass me the meet info so I know where i'm going and i'll see you all there."
And with that Absynthe rises and heads out the door.
Trigger
With that decision made, Agent stood also and left the room to go and prepare his boat and gear for the run.
yoippari
Englishman nods at the agreement made and heads to his respective vehicle along with the rest. In the short time alotted he will pack his gear, make sure his drones are fueled, etc... Then he'll drive to the docks.
Grinder
Doc Bones nods to the rest of the group, as he leaves the rooms and the club, looking for a taxi. Back home he packs his gears, including some old fashioned books about magical threats, and heads to the docks.
warrior_allanon
Half an hour later Wolfgar showed up at the pier beside the "Mother's Star", Carrying the duffle bag with his gear in it he walked from the taxi he had taken to get there to the gangplank and called up to the ship, "Hullo on deck, Permission to come aboard?"
Ophis
The Mother's Star is a sight to behold, you've seen SK troops using something similar in Desert Wars footage. A wide central hull, with a front looks like it can that can be opened, on either side large outriggers sit, making it a strangely butch trimaran set up. The thing is a monster but sleek dangerous looking monster.

As Wolfgar approaches a male ork walks across the deck, he's wrapped up heavily and has an SMG slung at his side. "Permission granted," he shouts his voice heavily accented with hard Germanic tones, "I'm Anatole, I'm ships mate, head to stern and get inside, the Captain is waiting for you."
warrior_allanon
"Danke" Wolfgar calls back "the rest should be here within the next 15-20 minutes." Wolfgar climbs the gangway and starts toward the aft section where the Orc pointed.
Trigger
Agent shows up about fifteen minutes before the meeting time, pulling into the harbor in his own supped out speed boat, the Lady Diamond. The speedster was a sleek midnight blue with a strong black diamond checker pattern that started in the stern and faded as it made its way to the bow. Agent lit up the overhead lights on the Lady and sent out a comm message to the Mother's Star along with calling his approach on a loud speaker.

"Oui, this is Agent and the Lady Diamond approaching. Requesting a place to anchor till we can get her on her boat."

Agent's gear is stowed in the speedster with him, his heavy gear ready for the run. He is still wearing his heavy neo-military chic armor jacket, but now it is on top of flat black BDUs and combat boots and his beret is flat black as well. His Mossberg Combat Shotgun sits in the bow with him, loaded and ready for any trouble.
Ophis
"Good to see Fish has employed a sailor for this maddness. Bring her between the main hull and the port rigger. We have the gear to stow her there. Then come aboard and come into the bridge tower."
Trigger
Agent pulled the Lady Diamond up behind the Mother's Star and helped the crew get her loaded up into the stern of the much larger ship. After everything was settled and he did another quick look over his baby he grabbed his duffle bag holding most of his gear from the Lady and headed up to the bridge tower to see who else had arrived.
Grinder
Doc Bones arrives with a run-down black van just in time to see Agent docking with the Lady Diamond. The doc gets out of the passenger seat, shakes hands with the driver and grabs his gear: one military backpack and a big box that he has to wear with both hands.
He still wears the same dress as during the meeting, but also an armored military jacket.
"Hoi, chummers."
Ophis
The first mate welcomes Doc Bones aboard the ship, showing him to the room where the team are gathering.
Grinder
"Where can I take my medical gear to?"
Ophis
"Ah, your the medic then? Follow me," without waiting for a reply he leads Doc Bones below deck and into small but well equipped infirmary about big enough to hold two autodoc beds. "This is what we got, be nice to have a proper medic onboard."
yoippari
Englishman pulls up in his truck with a trailor in tow, thinking it may be useful to have his full shop if needed. He looks at the ship to see if it has the facilities to load and keep the modified roadmaster.

If it does he asks the man on deck if they can load it, if not he finds the long term parking garage and takes his ticket.

Either way he boards the ship along with a large case. He has traded the suit for an armored jacket, and the little drone on his shoulder for a doberman following behind.
Ophis
Englishman gets to see the impressive sight of a section of the prow of the ship raising upwards to allow a ramp to extend to the dockside. A crew member signals him to drive onboard and park up as the prow swings back into it's original position.
Sion_Smee
Absynthe arrives on foot to see the bow swing open to accept the truck, approaching the boarding ramp with a huge bag.
"Hail the ship"
Ophis
"Hail the troll!" shouts a dwarven crew member who has replaced the ork. "Get on board your almost all here."
Moonwolf
Sigurd walks up with a bag over one shoulder. Hel, that's a ship, not a boat. Hope the elves like working hard. He quickly finds the boarding ramp and heads up to the deck.
Ophis
With the entire team on board the captain meets you in a spartanly decorated breifing room.

He's a tall human with an obviously cybered left forearm. His hair is dark flecked with grey and the scarring on the left side of his face suggests the eyes may be cyber too.

"Welcome aboard mates," his accent in a harsh lower class English, "The ship we're about to chase can usually top out at about thirty Knots, we can do fifty. Given they where doing close to one eighty knots, about two hundred an a bit an hour. So given their two hour start they got about about four hundred miles on us. I don't want to be to quick, it just makes the weather more deadly, maybe two fifty knots at most, should get us on them in six hours or so. You've each got a cabin, I'll give you each a commcode so you can get an escort to show you round if you need it, and to keep you out of my hair while I'm piloting."
Moonwolf
Sigurd looks over at the captain, "Just send someone to tell me when we should speed up, I'm sure you don't want that kind of boost while in port. I'll be at the prow." He then lets himself out, and walks towards the prow of the ship, whistling a strange tune under his breath. 'Hail, glorious elf. I am Sigurd. Do you have a given name I can address you by.'
warrior_allanon
"Captain, unless theres a meal between now and then, i think i'll just stay in the cabin until its time to tranfer to the other ship."
Ophis
"The galley is pretty much always open. Ask and the cook will tell you no, and give you what he's got."
Sion_Smee
Absynth addresses the Captain "Captain we were promised some further details upon boarding such as the schematics for the ship we are pursing."

Once we get the plans I think we should go over them to decide on our boarding route, it may be quite difficult to get onboard by just driving a speed boat up to the other ship and once on board we should really have a plan for neutralizing the crew and and finding the cargo. After that we can relax un till its time to go.
yoippari
Englishman adds: "You're also supposed to have more info on the crate."
warrior_allanon
Wolfgar smacks himself in the forehead, "I must be getting senile in my old age, these gentlemen are correct."
Ophis
"Of course, if you access the ships node, using the user name Landlubber, and the pass word sealegs, you can see the schematic we have of the class o ship we're chasing. The crate is a simpler a wooden box about four foot on each side, bearing markings saying D Z 577. We believe it has some sort of tracking device, but we don't have an access for it."
warrior_allanon
"Alright then if we can use this room for our planning session we should be pretty much out of your hair."
Ophis
"It's about what I was thinking. Right I'll be on the bridge if you need me." With that the captain leaves, in moments you can here the throb of the engines picking up and the ship starts to move.
Ophis
You can each take a few minutes to relax as the ship pulls round and starts to move out of the harbour. Once your a little way clear the engine's pitch increases and your stomachs lurch as the Mother's Star picks up speed.

On the deck a crew man strides through the spray to where Sigurd stands. "Captain says, get the spirit working now!"
warrior_allanon
Looking at Englishman, he gestures to the table, "If you would pull the diagrams up for us, i would like for us to get started on the planning."
yoippari
Englishman connects to the node in AR and goes straight to the blueprints. He pulls them up on the table of the briefing room (I'm assuming it has a holo projector). He also grabs the crate file and sets it off to the side of the table.
warrior_allanon
Looking at the schematic of the transport, Wolfgar noticed the crane at the aft of the ship. "Englishman, do you think you could hack into that crane, get it to trail its line out once we get into range?"
Sion_Smee
Absynth adresses the group "While we are at it how are we planning to approch the ship? are we going to take the mothers star all the way in or are we going to take it in to just outside detection range and take the smaller boat in if it will handle the speed required to catchup?"
Trigger
Agent finally speaks up after listening to the Captain speak and each of his team mates ask their questions, "I am for taking my smaller boat in on the final approach, as it will show up less on their radar, it is a smaller mass and should be able to be pushed faster than the larger boat by spirit power. Also if they do see us and take fire at us, the smaller boat is a harder target to hit and it has a better manueverability for getting in close."
Sion_Smee
"Ok so once we are close other than the possibility that we can hijack their crane and it may be pretty obvious or loud that its moving and shouldn't be, what other plans do people have for getting on board? grappling hooks? Do they have any purpose built acess for vessels close to the water that we could use? But this will obviously depend on if we are spotted on the approach or not."
Moonwolf
Sigurd continues the creepy whistling over the deck. 'Time to get this thing moving fast, fair one.' Might be a bit of a shock to some of them, the acceleration is fairly impressive
Sigurd then looks to find somewhere he can sit while being able to see the water near the prow.
Ophis
The ship lurches as a dark skinned elven woman appears in the water next to it, seems to take a firm hold of the the hull and kicks. It takes a moment for everyone's stomachs to catch up.

In the briefing room a quick examination of the schematic shows no really handy access for a ship pulling along side. It does show a small launch on it's own crane on one side of the ship.
Grinder
Doc Bones needs some time to check the small infirmary and unload his equipment. After hes finished with his task, he looks for the rest of his team and finds them to be in the middle of a meeting.

"I'm sorry for being late, but I had to check the infirmary."
The tall elf grabs a chair and sits down, looking for a bottle of water.
warrior_allanon
When Absynthe mentions grappling hooks Wolfgar pinches the bridge of his nose and starts cursing softly. "Alright folks, i'm sorry, my mind just doesnt seem on the ball right now." Looking at the launch and its crane he asks out loud, "Do you think it will be any quieter or less noticable to drop the launch and then use it as an elevator without them noticing?"
yoippari
Englishman is obviously lost in thought. He seems to ignore those around him while studying the scematics. He zooms in on the crane and launch pulling up the mechanical and electrical layers of the file. Among other things he traces the wiring looking for a connection to their sat link or a smaller wireless antenna.
Moonwolf
Sigurd looks down to the elf swimming alongside the ship. 'Tid flytte fort, strålende. Vi har en lang natt før oss.'. He then looks out over the water, looking for anything that could cause trouble.
yoippari
Englishman grunts and continues studying the schematics of the ship flipping through various systems and locations. He rests on a large scale view with angles and length measurements cover much of the ship. "I don't think the crane or launch will work, too noisy, we might be able to use the crane to move the crate though. Our best bet would be to find a somewhat concealed location and use grappling hooks. Of course it'd be easier if they weren't going 200 kilometres an hour." He pauses for a moment considering something. "Anyone see a quiet, out of the way spot?"
warrior_allanon
Maybe not so quiet or out of the way, but it would be easier to get them stuck in if we took it bow on wouldnt it?
