Hey y'all... Thanks for the tips and help on my previous topic. Been workin' on my character and I think I have him just about done... Now i'm putting together my Adept Powers.
I went with a magic rating of 5 and so far I have Improved reflexes level 2.
Trying to figure out what else to buy... Was thinking 2 levels of "Combat Sense" but I'm a little confused...
Does Combat Sense only add it's rating on surprise checks? (IE: Ninja jumps from the rafters and tries to backstab my character).
Or does it add to Dodge/Parry/Whatever in Melee combat? (IE: Troll with bat swings at my character, I dodge and add my rating in Combat Sense to the dodge)
For some reason one of my friends was telling me it works like the latter (adding into your dodge)... I just wanna make sure I know how it works before I invest the Adept power points into it.
(Also... There any thing else I should be using adept power wise? I'm a Blade Adept... thinking of either Counterattack from the new magic book, or a few levels of improved ability blades.)
Right, Thanks y'all.

Both, actually. You get the bonus on surprise checks and dodge/parry rolls against ranged and melee attacks.

For your last Power Point, I would suggest one point in Counterattack, and the Quickdraw power.
I recommend Counterattack, despite it being more limited than Improved Ability, because it can potentially add a lot of dice to your next attack - the level of Counterattack, plus any net hits from your parrying test. Your other powers really add to your parrying test - your Improved Reflexes: 2 and Combat Sense: 2 effectively give you 4 dice - so you will probably usually get a lot of net hits when parrying, making your next attack a devastating one.
I recommend Quickdraw for your other power, because you don't want to keep wasting an action pass readying your weapon. With Quickdraw, you can draw your sword and use it in the first initiative pass if you make the quickdraw test. And with your high Reaction and Blade skill, you will probably make the test more often than not.
