Lady Door
For a moment, Lucky's face goes blank. Then she smiles.
Yeah, sure.
The drive to the resteraunt is interesting, listening to Lucky talk about her love of sports, her dream to one day own the New Orleans Tombstones. She's a woman of many interests, all as varied as the next.
The resteraunt she takes you to is a little mom and pop place, actually run by a woman Lucky calls Mom when she walks in the door.
As they sit down in a formica booth circa 1950, Lucky leans in and smiles.
Get their biscuits and gravy. Their too diefor.
As their coffee and orange juice arrive, Lucky asks about him.
So, we've had the microscope on me all night. Let's talk about you. What are you like? What do you like?Lucky winks.

Me? Hell, me I'm simple. I like to live while I can.Like I said, , I went merc at 14. It's not as sever as you think, 'cause us tuskers mature physically at about 15 anyways. But I've been dodging bullets for over 10 years now. orks also get older a lot faster. 10 more yeras and I'll be as old as Gino, more or less. That's a big weight to live with.

So I take it all and want more. I liek fast cars. I like fast bikes. Ilike to fly. I sky dive, I hit the water, I play sports, hell I do whatever I can. And I gotta be honest, I love women. I maean, you can say that you love chocolate, but you ain't gonna go out and rent a movie to watch other people sit around and eat chocolate. But every body has sat around some time in front of the trid and watched people have sex. And they paid for it. That recommends sex pretty highly to me.
Lady Door
Interesting theory.Lucky laughs and takes a sip of her coffee.
So, how old are you? 24?
fistandantilus4.0
25, close. My philosophy is simple. Idon't want to ever regret having not done something. And that might cause me problems at times, but it's better to have lived and fucked up along the way, then to not live at all.

I make a point of not letting my "living" conflict with loyalties though. I'm not a fool.

Other than that, well, my past can mostly be summed up by different fire fights that I was in, and stuff that I blew up. not much to tell there unless you're in to war stories.
Lady Door
I like your philosophy. It's one I share. I'll try anything once, twice if I like it.Lucky smiled and leaned forward.
Speaking of which, ... maybe we should order and not leave poor mom standing there all day.
Sure enough, the amused looking Mom was standing beside the booth, pad in hand.
What can I get you two?

Biscuits and Gravy. I hear that's good here.

Darius looks back at Lucky, smiling.

After crashing at Lucky's place for the day, he hits the town a bit while she's out "taking care of business". A brief stop over at the stewardess' jsut to "say hello", and then it's off to blow some cred at the casinos. See what the operations look like down here. By the time evening begins to set in, it's morning over in Greece. Darius places a call to Gino to give him the update.

Gino, sorry for the long wait. The lady, Lucky , she ... took it hard... took a while to get over everything. But she's taking it pretty well now. Kind of gotten used to it ... the idea that she's got family around. Maybe not her parents, but a least a solid lead on it. And some relatives.

She wants to come out to meet you. She's got some biz she needs to clear up here first. Says it'll take her about two weeks. I should probably stick around until then, 'less you need me for something out there.
Lady Door
Gino's face crinkles into a wicked smile.
Hit it off, did you? He laughs No, I'm good here. You should stay. Make sure you help this girl get things straightened out. I'll let you know if anything comes up, but barring any major controversy, stay.. enjoy yourself.
Gino smiles again and hangs up.
From the way he was talking and the look on his face you can only assume that he's at Eve's house. He was happy when he was with Eve.
Hanging up your phone and taking a look around, you realize it's getting close to evening. So, far your evening looks free. Might need to change that.

Give Lucky a Call

Hey there Darlin.
Southern girls seem to like men saying that to them.

Naturlly I'm free for the night. You got any work you need clearin' up? Or lookin' for a good time?
Lady Door
Darius is rewarded by the sight of a slow smile cross Lucky's face.

You have perfect timing. I was just thinking that I would love to get out of here. Pick me up in an hour? I still know of a few places you haven't seen yet.Lucky winks.
fistandantilus4.0
Sure thing. Just let me know if it's work or play so that I can dres properly.

Darius spends an hour out shopping for a few little presents. He sttels on an expensive cognac, a silky black sure he'd love to see her in (bra optional as always) and a pair of dice inscribed with the name of the casino he got them from, the Lady Luck.
Lady Door
Pleasure, of course.Lucky laughs, blows Darius a kiss and hangs up.

Later, after finding the perfect gifts, Darius once again finds himself at the Lucky Strike. Walking inside, the place is packed, especially the sports parlor.
Must be a big game tonight or something. The male bartender from the night before has been replaced with a pretty young thing with long blonde hair. As Darius gives her the once over, he catches the scent of Versace and cinnamon from behind him.

Speaking before he finishes turning around, he says
Ya shouldn't sneak up on a guy like. Me. Ain't polite ya' know.

He smiles at Lucky. Ready to get outta here?
Lady Door
When Darius turns around, Lucky is smiling. She looks drop dead gorgeous tonight in a dark blue silk sheath that shows all of her curves. The dress drops to just above her knees, with a slit on either side that goes all the way to her hip. Her hair is worn long, sleek and straight and an expensive sapphire and diamond bracelet sparkles on one wrist.

Soo ready.

Darius offers his arm, already forgetting about the blonde.

Lady like this on the arm, by bother thinking about anything else. When ya' got a prime cut a steak...

glancing back at the blonde .. who needs a bruger ..?

Darius leads her out to the car.As usual, he gets the door for her.

He walks around to his side, pickig up something out of the back seat. He hands it to her as he gets in.

'Picked you up a few things. Tell me what you think.

He hands her the boxes, stacked on top of each other. The bottom one, long and light like a clothes box, middle one, smaller and boxy, and a small one on top.
Lady Door
Lucky smiles and opens the boxes slowly. You can tell a lot about someone from the way they open thier presents. Lucky opens her slowly, enjoying the suspense, sliding the ribbons away and finally opening the lid. Spotting the dice inside the Lucky laughs. Taking them out, she rolls them on the dashboard. When they come up 7, a 5 & a 2, she laughs again. Shaking her head, she puts them back in the box. Picking up the second box, she opens it. Pulling out the cognac she sighs.
Oh, this is gonna go down real good. You're spoiling me.
Putting aside the cognac reluctantly, she picks up the last box. When she sees what's inside, she gives you a long, slow, passionate kiss.
Something for later?
fistandantilus4.0
Something to [i]take off[/] later. Glad you like 'em. So where to?

Darius indicates the autonav, and for Lucky to punch in the corrdinates.
Lady Door
Lucky leans forward, and again Darius catches the scent of her perfume. The directions light up on the auto-nav, sending them to a place called the Roxanne.
Smiling, Lucky turns back to Darius and lies her hand on his upper thigh.
You'll llike this place, trust me.

Darius makes the arrangements for the cruise and Lucky's stay over in Carfu the next week. He also starts looking in to who might havea grudge against her in case something comes up. Being a body guard for so long, it's a hard, and bad, habit to break.
