You implied the Sakura Fubuki is not based on a real life weapon while the Ares Predator is. You failed to bring up the fact that working handgun models with 4 barrels were made. These allow just as solid a case to be made for the ridiculousness of the bulk of the Sakura Fubuki as the Glock 22 for the Ares Predator.

At 1,000,000 r/m those 180 rounds will be fired in 0.0108 seconds. I don't think you'd actually have time to feel the recoil but you certainly would not have time to suppress anything. At that rate you'd be able to fire off nearly 300 bursts in a combat turn.

I believe the phrase you are looking for is "Lead Laser"

Note that those 180 rounds are from a weapon with 12 relatively long (ie. not handgun) barrels. [Edit]I tell a lie, 36 barrels, ie. a very bulky setup.[/Edit] If no recoil was felt with a single 15-round barrel fired inside the same time, then no recoil would be felt with several barrels either. Immediately thereafter it would most likely push you over, at the very least: even with relatively mild loads, that's around 400kgm/s of momentum, enough to accelerate the mass of the average adult male to a velocity of 5-6m/s. The recoil would be similar to an M72 LAW that wasn't recoilles.

At 45,000rpm, there'd still be about 1.5 feet between the individual bullets from the same barrel traveling downrange. But it might look pretty sweet with tracers.
