Redjack, how are you monitoring Kin's conversation? If it's through the mic he doesn't have then there's a problem... Other than that, everything's cool.

Soykaf - the way we've got it set up right now, even if you don't have a mic, if you want to say something to the team all you have to do is say it out loud - we've got the intercom on the limo set to pick up conversation from the back, and Musouka has all that networked.

Of course, subvocals are probably out, but in a pinch you can be heard.

I suddenly realized that to keep up this omnipresent facade I am going to have to start spreading around my micro-cams and get some micro-microphones as well.

Naturally I am itching to make an IC post, but confess I am at a bit of a loss - I sense that proper etiquette is crucial here, but honestly have no idea what is the proper thing to do. Of course, I also can't ride a motorcycle in real life - but that's what Skills are for!

Syndicate Killer - not asking for all the answers - just maybe if, based on the following roll, you could let me know the more proper of the two choices I am considering -

A) Roll in ahead of the limo, giving me a chance to report to Aniki, see if there's anything he needs from me at the moment, and be there for the meeting of him and Katchi.

B) Use more enryo, that is, social restraint, and just follow the limo in, and stand quietly but visibly off to the side, not trying to upstage anyone, knowing that Aniki knows that I and of course the rest of the team are there and standing by.

So - Charisma + Etiquette + Yakuza spec = 7 dice

5 3 4 3 4 4 1 = 1 success

This is an important moment for Match - he'd rather get killed than screw up in front of Aniki right at the most socially sensitive moment, and right as he is about to succeed at his first big mission, so...spend 1 Edge to reroll failures

Match is going to just stay where he is until directed otherwise by Aniki - since that's what my Etiquetter test told me was the proper play.

That said, you are right that we are hosting this guy, which I think includes bodyguard service (all the higher ups must have 'em lurking around, I am guessing), so even if the rest of us go on hold waiting for orders, I agree it is appropriate for you to stick close to Katchi until Aniki (and no one else) tells you otherwise.

Match will naturally go along with anything Aniki orders him to do. He'll also go along with what the rest of the team does, provided it does not go against Aniki. If I don't check in within a reasonable length of time, don't stall the game out on my account.

Well, I've kinda been waiting for syndicate to further the action along, personally. I've been liking the campaign though, so far, and I don't want things to grind to a halt. This is currently my only messageboard game so without it I don't have anything to do, really.

I wasn't waiting for you, Adamu, but maybe Syndicate was and that's why things have slowed up.

Either in this game or another, Syndicate had noted that he had been working a number of extra shirts at work and that there had been a large number of people quit.... Though I have to say that its bad form to not check in within a two week period no matter how swamped you are when you are running the game...

I actually understand why everyone's not posting right now. This is close to finals week, and I know April 30th - May 2nd I'm having all 4 of mine. So I will most likely not be posting then, but on the other hand nobody is posting, so I guess it doesn't matter, heh!
