The first group is another adult and kid combo. As far as Grey can tell, they're hiding out in an old apartment building, though whether or not they were originally from there is impossible to tell.
Group two is a much more mixed group. As near as Grey can tell, they are squatting in the basement of an old apartment building around a still functioning electrical tap. There are two humans, two orks, and a troll. One ork and one human have significant cyberware and the troll appears to be awakened in some fashion.
On a side note, as Skooter fiddles with his arms, he realizes that it's not so much an "extra bone" as an a bizarre metalic deposit. The pockets don't cause visible bulging, but pressing on them also doesn't yield the resistance normally associated with metal. There are dots at the base of each of his palms which appear to be the termination point for the deposits. A small circle of shiny metal, very similar to that now composing Az's arms and legs, is visible at each point, though they are only about half the size of a dime.
[edit] On a side note, because of the wide-area nature of the game so far, astral perception/projection is of little use if you don't have specific goals and targets in mind (or there's something on the astral right in front of your face). Saying that you want to take a look around is fine, but if you want to be sure to check on specific things, pointing those things out is a good idea.[/edit]

Your estimates are between 2 and 4 for the background. It varies.

What is the group's course of action? This street is pretty choked with debris, but others may be better. However, you'll have to make a wide look around the hospital to check the others.

Why bother doing it outselves? Thats what a spirits Search power is for.

Skooter is a shaman right? I can't recall off the top of my head. If not, I'll edit that post.

Shamanic, but just a sorcerer. You don't have to edit your IC post, though. This is probably the first time they've really discussed their capabilities with each other.

Okay, Grey. What, exactly, does Fink ask the spirit to find and where is it supposed to be locking? 10 dice against a mystery TN which I'll determine when I know more about what you're asking.

A enterance into the hospitol that is clear and safe. Perfered enterance through the tunnels underground.
TinkerGnome

Search takes a long time to perform. Post updated. There doesn't appear to be a "safe" route, especially underground.

Well, holiday weekend (some of you are probably already on holiday) this weekend, so slow game until then. I'll be around if anyone posts, however.

Ok, caught up on reading from where I lagged off. Toll gangers, a helicopter, mysterious radio head girl. I missed some good stuff... my thinking it when the helicopter came, maybe Daemon booked it out of reflex, and he spots the group en route to the hospital. That work out?

Okay, who is carrying the boy? He's starting to wake up, but you get the feeling that you don't have time for him to come around enough to walk on his own.

Tagging along with the group. I doubt she's going anywhere else since she's rather concerned about the incoming chopper.

You sure you want to summon a spirit inside their camp, Grey?
Grey
Apr 20 2004, 11:18 PM
I was throwing out the dice ahead of time, I thought we moved through their camp and I did it on the other side. My confusion, sorry.
TinkerGnome
Apr 20 2004, 11:43 PM
You can do so. What domain are you trying to summon the hearth spirit from? The background count inside the hospital spikes to 4 in many areas and 3 in the good ones. Outside it's more like 2 with spikes or 3.
Grey

Ugh... I'll have to get it inside, cause I want it to guide us. I got a 14 on the roll though, so thats the one service I really need.

I just got promoted at work (yay!), which means that I'm going to start becoming much busier and won't have as much time to game (boo!). Unfortunately, I'm going to have to drop from this game. Feel free to NPC my character until he/she can be removed cleanly or keep using them as an NPC as long as you like. I'm sorry to do this, but life calls...

Okay, we had a good run, but I'm sticking a fork in it because we haven't been posting lately. The source material (which a few people got) was the short-lived sequel to Cyberpunk 2020 called Cybergeneration. Basicly, the plague is caused by nanites which changes children and kills adults or makes them into carriers. The evolutions were:
Azaezel, Tinman, able to shape limbs into various objects and extrude armor. Limbs also as good as cyberlimbs.
Kyle, Alchemist, able to use nanites to change the shape and chemical arrangment of things
Fink, Scanner, able to sense life and emotions and deliver a static blast with a touch
Daemon, Bolter, able to launch chain wires up to a considerable distance that could then deliver a powerful electric shock. Also able to deliver a shock at touch range or power electronic devices.
Skooter, Scout, able to extrude probes through which he could use his various senses. They remained attached to his arms via thin chains, but were as good as small drones for most tasks with good sensory abilities (could also cast spells through them)
Girl, Jammer, Recieve, transmit, and decrypt radio signals. Also had a wide vocal range which could even be used as a sonic attack.
Boy, Wizard, An otaku with a multipe-format wireless interface.
I hope it was fun for you guys, because I had a blast.

Yeah. Thanks for the game. It was fun running Skooter, and you had a really interesting premise.
