Noise takes another puff from her cigarette then flicks it at Mongol's chest.

"This why I hate men. I was play nice. Stupid fucking man. You think if I really was going to kill you I warn first?" She spits at the ground in front of his feet. "You think sad story of you having to clean sons blood make me cry? You think my life all sunshine? If you want really fight, I fight here now. If you want make money then leave me fucking alone. Do not talk to me. Fuck!"

She looks around and notices that everyone is looking at them. "You think you live in shadow? Now we fucking have to leave or cop come."

The tumbling cigarette embers floated in slow motion, her senses sharpened as the discarded tube of highly processed putative vegetable matter arced over her bowl of noodles. Forcing herself to slow down she reached for her bowl and pulled it out of the way. Only for a expectoration of vitriol punctuated by a glob of saliva presented a further threat to her half eaten noodles.

Litany held the bowl tilted for her inspection, unable to distinguish flecks of ash from the various textured spices, as she spoke quietly, "You stayed at the table. Only one way out of the deal... if you choose that, do it in the splat hole where you can entertain people."

Mongol leans forward across the table with a half sneer, but his voice cracks slightly as he speaks in a much lower tone.

"Yeah, sad fucking story... Just another dead trog... Who gives a shit? I see you watching pitfights, you watch Desert Wars too? Did you see the episode? Did it amuse you? Did you bet on my family's life? Did you make money? Maybe you loose? That why you so full of pissed? What the fuck did a trog from the desert do to you?"
LurkerOutThere
There is a slight clomp as a small drone drops down from the ceiling depositing four bottles of saki on the table before it receeds upwards again into it's tracks in the darkness.

Damn hadn't figured placating team mates was gonna be an expense on this business. Well I hope the same thing that works on gang bangers works on runners.

He breaks the paper wrap on his bottle. "Point of fact, nobody here's gonna call the cops, if they call someone it will be much worse then the cops."

He unscrews the cap. "Point of fact Noise most of the words you've said to me or Mongol since we've met have sounded like threats. I'm presuming at this point it's unintentional but that is the read I, and obviously Mongol here, keep getting. So maybe you want to tone it back just a notch 'kay?""

He turns his head to Mongol. "Mongol, I think we're all suffering a little bit of a culture clash here, a little babylon going on. I'm sorry for what happened to your fams but ain't nobody here making money off the desert wars, but you already know that I'm sure."

He looks to Litany taking the bottle. "You seem pretty on top of things, what should we toast to? I'm partial to a overcoming our differences in the name of wealth and power, but it might be a bit crass.."

Noise stares at Mongol as he responds, hearing his voice crack as he retorts. She relaxes a bit after his speech and leans back into her chair. She looks to Light with her eyes only as he points out his 'facts' which, seem to make good enough sense for the moment, so she snatches one of the bottles off the table ripping it's wrapper off as she does so. She removes the top and lifts it to her lips, before drinking though she stops, sniffing at the liquid.

"Is not wodka, but is what we have."

Looking to Mongol without saying anything she waves the bottle in front of her then points at the others on the table. Although she looks much calmer now, her eyes can be plainly seen scanning the room around them, trying to make sure that the cops, or worse, aren't being called to make an appearance anytime soon.

Mongol pulls the wrapper off another bottle nodding and raising it slightly towards Noise first and then towards the rest of the team.

"Well... To respect then."

He takes a swig and then grimaces slightly...

"No, it's not... wodka."
DireRadiant
She'd tasted and done fouler things in her life, a little home brewed white lightning wasn't go to kill her any more then those things had, or almost had.

"Respect."

It took about ten seconds before she could speak again.

"Anyone know someplace more private for a little show and tell?" where these two can beat on each other without getting us in trouble...

As the Saki bottles go up, the tension of the crowd goes down. A group of young clubbers in shimmering jackets with light light up piercings make their way to the noodle house, laughing and slobbering on each other like a traveling orgy. They grab most of the attention in the process. The young kid by the dumpster has scored a meal and heads for a darker corner. Other figures in the shadows drift back to their own business.

Noise relaxes more as the crowd does around her, no longer paranoid that no one was on their way to bust them. She contemplates replacing her cigarette eventually deciding not to when she spies the still smoking remains of her last one.

"This," she waves a hand around, "Is not normal area for me. Do not know anything close to here."

"We can head to my squat, it's not much to look at but it''s in the middle of Crush territory so no cops and considering I can now smell wifi I'm sure it's free of electronic surveilance." He looks a bit sheepish. "Uh I don't spose anyone can give me a lift, I caught the bus down here."

Noise sighs at Light's lack of transportation and shakes her head. "You trust bus system here?" She lets out a small smile, possibly mocking him, possibly in geniune surprise, it's hard to tell. Suddenly she slaps her palm down on the table and states. "Da! Is decided. Ve go to squat. Ve all plan for the making of money. Maybe ve drink wodka?" She says the last quirking her head at Light, "I drive you to this squat."

Mongol nods Yes, if I can follow, then OK.

At that Mongol swallows the last of his sake and gets ready to leave with the others.

~13:30 Light River's Squat

Finding the way there hadn't been that much of a problem and the scooter was nimble enough, and she was quick enough, to avoid all the potholes and ditches. The occassional barricades were easy to get around and the tolls were cheap enough. Litany had only had to pull the HoGs once. The halfer ganger decided on giving a free pass rather then taking the 2 nuyen bullet Litany had offered. Of course it only worked that way since the young dwarf was alone, with no one to see him give in it was a lot easier.

Once she got to Crush territory the only problem was explaining three times to the same trog what a kiss-o-gram was. She knew she shouldn't have tried anything fancy, but she didn't want to rely on Light's name only to get through.

She parked the scooter and slaved it's sensors to the team net before she entered and looked around.

Light shrugs doing his best impression of Alfred E. Newman while bieng cosmically unaware of the significance of a media that died long before he was born. I'm trying to do my bit for the enviroment and stuff, if I'm really in a hurry I can boost a car but as I don't go far from the territory unless i'm working the heel to toe express is my usual way of getting around. He gives a tusky grin, this is a hard one to offend it seems.

13:30approx. Light River's Squat

Light had tried to make small talk on his way over with Noise being careful given her nature. It's obvious that Light at least considers himself a people person and is willing to talk about most anything from Urban Brawl to Geopolitic. The building at one point had been an office building although the internal structure had been given over to apartments long ago. Refusing to give up in the face of a lack of city services there were some signs that the people living here have tried to keep the place up, the carpet though clearly scavenged was mostly clean a small slightly twitchy drone seeing to that in slow cycles. Lights door actually had a maglock with an archaic looking thumbprint scanner. It clicked open as he approached and he pushed it open gesturing for the others to come in. "Head in and make yourself comfortable liquor cabinets over there, your welcome to anything that isn't in a box or bag, the rest of it's stolen anyway. I'm gonna go out and RFID tag your cars so no one messes wit' em.

Lights dwelling is surprisingly spartan which further emphasizes the open space for what would normally be a family apartment, it seems membership does have it's privileges. There's a small living room area in front of a entertainment system all the furniture mismatch and apearing savenged. Hanging on the walls are sports related posters or other momentos and the occasional electronic schematic. Against one wall there's a long work bench and a couple of scavenged and scuffed toolboxes which are by far the messiest portion of the place. Other then that for a bachelor pad it's very clean only having a slight odor indicating the kitchen trash needs taken out.
imperialus
Mongol accepts Lights offer of a seat pulling his Predator out of his waistband and setting it on the living room's coffee table before leaning back in a chair with a beer while waiting for Light to return. When he does so, he clears his throat.

"So... I guess planning is next to do? What you thinking? I am sure now that I need better computer stuff. Back home was pretty much all deadzone, cept for a few nets in big tribes and merc gangs... I am not so familiar with these comlinks but I think you rely on them quite much yes?"

1:36:11am Light River's Squat

Noise plops down onto a couch in front of the entertainment system and lets out a long yawn.

"Think maybe should not do all planning yet, no? Still have Johnson to meet. Is good to get start information now though. Anni say that Johnson have inside man. Think maybe good to setup.... walk around of building? See lay of land?"

Light's liquor cabinet catches her eyes and she bounces up off the couch to check out it's contents.
