I had to delve into the HTML and edit things by hand to make it look like I wanted it to. Fun fun fun.

An ultrasound sensor would be spoofed by the emitter/detrector

What book/page is that on?

Also, is there a write up anywhere of the "Ghost suit" or the "Sneak Suit" I find in NSRCG?
I am making a similar thing, but I'm going with Industriuos Coveralls as the basis, because of the large number of pockets and storage built in, meaning no worries about gear, as well as the 4/2 armor.
TinkerGnome
The ruthenium suit/cloak listed in NSRCG is the cost for the ruthenium to cover what is considered a "suit" (ie, 2.5m^2) and a "cloak" (ie, 2.75m^2). There is no armor attached to it, so you'd need to buy your own armor to coat.

I know this because I'm the one who put it into the .dat file wink.gif
Nikoli
I figured that when it didn't come up with armor stats. but that's for the clarity
Nikoli
Ultrasound Emitter/Detector is in the BBB, with the surveilance countermeasures

Wow, that's just for the Ruthenuim, too. Plus at least 20K for the scanners. I'll stick with my coverall suit.

Industrious Coverall..................................800
-hood, glooves and slippers from ff3...........250
-Thermal Dampening R4...........................6000
-Ruthenium Poymer 2.5M........................25000
-Imaging Scanner X4..............................20000
-U/Sound emitter/detector R4....................1600
.............................................................53650

Armor 4/2.
+4 tns for all forms of detection, and -2 power of chemical and flame based attacks. Plus, with the suit turned off and the hood pushed back, you look like a workman.
Nikoli
And Ruthenium can also make the outfit match the company schema if you program it to.

Thank you. I hadn't thought of that. I was planning on using Physical Mask to do it, but why bother?
Nikoli
And, if you get really bored, transpose a trideo picture of your favorite simstar...

My pocket secretary has enough memory for a few logos and stuff, right? Just need to wire it up to an input, correct?
Nikoli
Not my call, I'm just going off the canon uses for Ruthenium polymer.
Bearclaw
Well, mostly I was asking Fenris. You just need something to provide the image, if you want to add a fixed image. As a high-powered PDA + credstick reader, I figure it should be able to store a few images.
Nikoli
lemme see, 60 images to the mp, 100 mp to the P-sec, 6,000 still images or so.

I realize this is pretty last minute but i wrote up the run for where the team met. here it is, Raton, if you don't want to have left the run with me just say so and i'll change it. Anyone lese who has any problems with it please tell me an changes will occur. Fenris, i'm mailing the character now, the background will come in a separate e-mail later, after people have had some time to comment.

the run, and Irving's involvement.
Irving was born in the first waves of goblinization, in 2035. His parents, fearing for his safety, as well as due to their own prejudice, sent him off to the military. He was raised through his military special ops training, as well as training as a secret service bodyguard. He quickly discovered that the military had little restrictions on their prejudice and hatred for metas, sure they're useful to soak up enemy fire, but people, nope that's not them. He found contacts within the local Yakuza cell who could make him "dead" and give him a better life. He immediately took them up on the offer. He left the Military new to the streets and with limited training, mostly in how to provide bodyguard protection, and how to live and run in a military attack team. He found the shadows as a bodyguard for mages and deckers who needed him. he helps to augment the team by always taking the point and dropping the ones who open fire. He doesn't do stealth, but doesn't really need to. Joining a team through his connections with Raton. Upon reaching the target for the run Irving took out the guard protecting the entry site with one burst, dropping him instantly. When the team went in he took point. Stepping forward through each of the halls he proved his ability to soak up enemy fire. He helped the team deal with the guards inside the facility, taking out the few that were come across after taking the hits for the team. After the run he was the only one with any injuries, and only minor ones at that. After the meet with the Johnson went south he chose to board up with Raton continuing to try and be a bodyguard for him on future runs.

A little bloodier than Lee would like, but it's a start. Lee is a pacifist. He'll die before he'll kill some one else.

Seriously, we should make a 3 person team out of Lee, the B&E expert, Raton, the Decker, and Irving the Hulking Brute.
Bearclaw
Character is away, as .xml and .sr3.
I'm also going to PM it, so I can have a copy here. You can delete it if you want.
paul_HArkonen
well, sorry about the blood, but that is after all basically him, and yeah i would say hulking brute is an accurate description, although he's actually pretty smart score of 4. I'm going to go ahead and send it in.
CardboardArmor
If you guys want a look see at the sheet I sent in, you can find it here.
Fenris
Nikoli: Unfortunately, I don't have Word on every computer I come into contact with over the course of the day, so either html or .txt.

The PDA's are fine for the 6000 or so images for the ruthenium.
Nikoli
Just sent the html versionof teh word doc
TinkerGnome
Tick tock, guys wink.gif
CardboardArmor
I sent mine hours ago.

Magic Group Initiatory

Strictures:

Attendance - meets every 1-3 months

Fraternity - members are expected to do whatever they can to assist other members upon request

Secrecy - group never admits its existance in public, members never admit to membership.

Oath - swear to obey strictures.
Nikoli
Hrmm, secrets from the team...
CardboardArmor
Who watches the watchers, huh?

I think membership in the magical group would be an open secret amongst the team, though.

Notes: Blakkie and TheSpoonyBard are out. I haven't heard from them all week, and don't have a character sheet.

OOC thread are up. I've posted the group list in the OOC thread just for clarity.

IC thread will be up this evening. As McQuillan mentioned, I'm running tabletops all weekend, and I need to finalize a few things for this thread.

Good luck, and thanks for the effort you've put forth so far. You won't be disappointed.

CardboardArmor: Countdown - Pistol Adept
Tisoz: Tolkien Jones/Token - Male, Caucasian, Elf Sea Shaman Conjuring Specialist
TinkerGnome: Diego Icarez/Raton - Male, Latino, Human Decker
paul HArkonen: Irving - Troll meat wall
Nikoli: Kaneda Marutetsu/Kanesa - Pistol-Sam
Bearclaw: Lee Johnson/Lee Hides-In-Trees - Male, Racoon Shaman B&E specialist.

I'm guessing Lee Hides-In-Trees, Countdown, and Token know each other from the magic group. Kanesa knows Countdown, Irving knows the Shamen and Raton from guarding meat bodies while they are out. So everyone is connected to at least one other, and was introduced to everyone else.

As far as the Secrecy stricture, I included it because it was suggested. As CardboardArmor said, it could be assumed by the group that the magical types are part of a group without them ever coming out and admitting it.
