Contacts??? what are contacts for? (just kidding on that, but it tells you how usefull Guns contacts might be)
Gun would be all for going to a nice little walk, in full combat armor at night, by the attack site

I have a simple question, and it's odd, mostly cause i'm not used to having a datajack.
Is it possible to plug headware memory, through a datajack, into a Psec?
Ecclesiastes
Oct 7 2004, 02:44 AM
Yes. You can plug the Psec into your jack and command it mentally and swap any files you have stored on it into your head memory.

I'm going to assume that we have at least one person who can work as a Rigger.
I also Assume that Gun would know who it was, and also what the best way to transport himself discretely while wearing Light security Armor. (Yes He is our Brick) so if some one could let me know who that would Be it will save us all some time, and Lonestar trouble.
Ecclesiastes

Actually no. I didn't get any Riggers submitted. You guys drive your own cars and whatnot.

oh... Ok, now how to get a man with Full Sec armor to a specific site without having lonestar called a half dozen times... quite a difficulty.
oh well.
Actually, could you wear clothes over top of Light security armor, look slightly fat and the like, but could it be done, at least till he got close to the target area?

paul_HArkonen
Oct 7 2004, 10:57 PM
All that i need for Gun is a way to get him there in full combat gear, as per what i thought our plan was, without having everyone in a several mile radius talking about the Azzie security trooper, cause that's what he would look like.
so a car of any type is fine.
Shadow
Oct 7 2004, 11:42 PM
Paul, you wont need ot be in full combat gear, a secure coat and armored undies will do fine, and give you a ballistic rating of 6, and help you conceal your gear.
Sahara has a bike, but that is bad for snow.

To be honest full combat gear is about all he has other than jst normal clothes. Although He could just go and change on top of the building, and set up there, actually that would work well.
Sorry, but like I said he is the very definition of a Brick, as per Grendel's description.

Oct 8 2004, 08:16 PM
Paul, I need to get this clear... you are getting into a cab wearing full security armor with a long coat over it?
paul_HArkonen
Oct 8 2004, 08:23 PM
Sort of, my thought was that the long coat would be enough to cover almost all of the armor without the helmet on, if not, no He's not quite that dumb, but I figured that since its winter a heavy jacket, one like an overcoat, wouldn't be out o place, and the bulk an average person would just attribute to a second layer, if not I will figure something else out.
Ecclesiastes
Oct 8 2004, 08:25 PM
Basicly, the Long Coat adds 4 to the conceal of something under it. Sec Armor has a conceal of 0, giving the armor a conceal of 4... which isn't too good.
paul_HArkonen
Oct 8 2004, 08:30 PM
4 should be enough to get him someplace in a Taxi which, per the general advances stuff in Rigger 3, likely has tinted windows. without actually frisking him or something like that he's got a Tn of about 6, give or take, I don't have to book on hand so i'm not sure of the exact number.
so in conclusion, yes he is going to ride in a Taxi with sec armor on, He's got it concealed, and with just a visual glance very few people are going to notice anything that confirms its armor, in which case they are likely to stay away from him anyway.
