I'd like to give it a shot, I won't have my books back until saturday, but, I was thinking something along the lines of ex-lonestar riot cop. Trained in non-lethal takedowns (pistols,clubs,launch weapons(splat gun),and possibly spray weapons (pepper punch, freeze foam)) and has swapped sides because he was disturbed after seeing a close friend get killed trying to pursue some runners. He figured that his pay wasn't good enough, and maybe he could make a difference as a runner, but hell if he was going to kill someone like his friend.

Is this still open? Not sure if I count as a newbie, considering how long I've had to look through books and the like, but to date I've never been able to actually finish even one run in any SR game, so I guess I kinda am. I have this character I've been dying to try and insert into a game sometime--a decker/sorcerer. I've got it in NSRCG form right now, but I can send it to you in text form too.

Seriously, I have a simple question: Will we be able to do a few items between runs? Let's just say I have a few ideas I want to try out (nothing illegal or unbalancing, just interesting ideas).

What do you mean by that? I though I'd kinda made it clear this was a one-shot game and there woudn't be any "between runs".
