I wanted to let you guys/gals know that I, because of the nature of this forum, will take minor liberties with your character. I will never post actions, or make decisions for your character. If I step past your comfort level, just let me know and I will back off. It will take a few posts to find your particular comfort level and I ask that you bear with me. It is simply impossible to do the kind of "back-and-forth" you get at a table top session. It would take sixty or seventy posts just to work through the meet with Tamburo alone. I read your posts and try to speak in the voice you have given your character. If you are violently opposed to this practice, however, let me know and I will exclude your character from it. I am simply trying to express the story as fully as I can. O.K.?

The character sheet I posted didn't include what geas I took to offset the Magic loss due to Essence loss, did it?
Here it is:

Hey guys/gals,
I just received a request by viggo to join the group. It IS rather late in the game, though not so much that with a little movie magic, smoke and mirrors, and a pinch of faerie dust, we could make it happen. He is new to the forum and has never played via dumpshock before. This brings a few problems, but none are insurmountable. I told him that I would put it to the group and get back to him. What say you?
F.I.

Frater, dude, I don't want to call you out on your own game, but it really breaks the mood when you make a OOC post right in the middle of the IC thread.

If you seriously don't want other players to read information, send a PM with the information to the person it's meant for, at the same time posting in the OOC thread to notify the player that it's been sent. And now, after chewing out the GM, I will sit back and watch my character get sodamized by Bubba the Love Troll.
Musashi Forever
Jun 5 2005, 04:52 AM
Don't worry man, Bubba the Love Troll was the first character I submitted. He got rejected. The GM said something about misuse of the Hydraulic Jack cyberware.

My apologies Tziluthi, and those of you who feel likewise, for the mistake. I had for or five post windows, along with two word documents running, all concurrently. I simply place it on the wrong thread. I did mean to put it in the OOC and will do so in the future.
As for Bubba... I'm not touching that one. Musashi... YOU ARE SCARY.

I need an up or down vote on this viggo thing. You guys/gals want one more player or not. I don't want to leave him/her hanging.
Thanks

Check out the Recruitment thread. For some reason, Frater decided that it would be more appropriate to post it there than here. Here's the quote:

O.K. I am going to use the Recruitment thread to hand out Karma. So look here periodically for yours.
Foxx, Tziluthi, Musashi Forever, Sicarius, Nick012000: 2 for playing, advancing the storyline, etc...
Foxx, Tziluthi, Musashi Forever, Sicarius, Nick012000: 1 for consistent posting
Foxx: 1 for outstanding storytelling
I am also working on karma awards for your backgound stories, which will be forth coming... soon.

Sorry that my post might seem a bit out of order with Foxx's. We must have both been working at the same time. I just wrote an addendum to it, so hopefully its not a problem that they are out of order.

post edited to avoid me looking like a retard that doesn't read what the GM puts up.
In that regard this notice is probably self defeating. but oh well.

Sicarius

Gregori isn't going to his place, but for future reference he has a Third story walk up apartment in Renton, and a coffin at a motel in Pullauyup.
Also F.I, since everyone else was doing/getting lists of stuff, I thought i should hash out what I understand Gregori to have with him, to make sure we are on the same page.
On his person:
Ares Predator in Concealable Holster 6 Ares Predator clips in various pockets
Earplug cellular phone
Wolf's Paw (Combat Fetish)
Wolf Tooth Necklace (Force 3 Sustaining Focus: Combat Sense)
He is wearing:
Leather Jacket
Armored Vest with Plates
Wife beater t-shirt
Cargo pants
Boots
Black Ski mask rolled up as a hat
You can of course rule against something on that list, or we can negotiate it, but it seems to be pretty normal stuff you could/would carry with you. But we can discuss if there's a problem.

Ragnarok is a troll merc. Depending on the situation, he either wears a secure ultravest or a partial suit of combat armor. Along with the nickname he constantly wears a Viking warhelm, a trophy from a mission. He's a demolitions expert and relies on either his skill with an assault rifle or his troll\cyber\bio unarmed combat to get by.

I would suggest posting by phase; you can, if you like post the entire round worth of actions. It just means you may have to edit or re-post if something happens ot change your action.
Nick012000: You don't have a vehicle control rig so you don't get the extra dice for your initiative while driving. Your increased reflexes only count for combat.
nick012000
Jun 13 2005, 07:42 AM
Don't I? I just thought that it only didn't count if I was rigging (and if I was, only the best would apply).
