If a character takes the quick healer qaulity does that give him bonus dice to heal other people ?? And does it affect natural healing rolls ?
*edit an unrelated question. Does the penalty you get from having cyber on healing rolls apply to natural healing??

No, yes.
Edit: you call it a "quality", so presumably you're talking SR4. I retract my answer, I've got no idea.

You might want to ask a Mod or someone to move this over to the SR4 section, then. Over on our side of the line we're gonna think of the "Quick Healer" Edge, from SR3.

oh. Maybe they should add a Third edition notation to this board! I just saw the heading thing " ask about rules and issues" and stopped looking.

Yeah, well, maybe you should get it straight next time! We don't like your filthy constant-TN kind here! Stay on your side of the line! Leave us alone! Go play your stupid FPS game and leave us to our variable TNs!
...okay, just kidding. It's mostly just that you're more likely to get a KNOWLEDGEABLE answer over in the SR4 area, specifically. For me, just looking at my SR4 book (with no actual game experience yet), it looks like it does give you bonus dice on attempts to heal other people.
"The character receives a +2 dice pool modifier to all Healing Tests made on/for/by him, including magical healing" is a sentence that could be broken down into three seperate sentences. One saying you get the +2 on all Healing Tests made on him (for his own healing, just toughing through injuries I guess), one saying +2 to all tests made FOR him (someone else patching him up, be it through mundane or magical means), and then finally one sentence saying all Healing Tests made BY him.
Which means unless somewhere in the damage/healing/first aid section the tests to patch up a buddy aren't called "Healing Tests," it should mean that the Quick Healer edge could also be called the "super tough medic" edge or the "wow, what a great nurse" edge.
But that's just me, reading the rules very strictly. It might be in an errata or something, that an actual SR4 player has access to (or interest in). So I could be wrong.

I haven't laughed that hard in awhile. Thanks Critias.
