I do have a new question. Normally, a magician can only summon and bind spirits limited to the five types of his tradition.
However, you can banish any spirit of whatever type it is. The rulebook then says that you can attempt to summon it right away after the connection to its master has been disrupted. But what about a spirit not listed in your tradition? Does the rule of summoning the banished spirit apply to whatever spirit that got send away from earth, or takes the above rule of being limited to control the spirits that your tradition could normally supercede the rule mentioned under Banishment?
Let's say that an Hermetic Mage banishes a spirit of the beasts summoned by a shaman, would he be able to summon and control it afterwards inmeadiately (the shaman is of no concern for now)? Could he then possibly bind it?
There is also the special case of binding free spirits, who may be of any type, but they do on the other hand function by their new special rules.
However, I'm more interested in the non-free spirits. Is this a way to steal foreign spirit types normally denied to you?
Thank you in advance.
