Somehow managed to add myself like 200 times in okinawa. My bad. Anyone know how to fix that?

Just added, after a little bit of difficulty.

Still can't get the pin on the crosstreet I want but oh well, close enough. FYI, I'm Reiku Hiteruo, in San Luis Obispo, California.

Seems there's only one other person in my area though, (a GM) so maybe we'll have to get together and run a multicharacter game...

...hmm, I could get the pin to Portland OR but it got stuck on the Banfield Freeway. Appropriate I guess since traffic on I-84 is always messed up this time of day.

Actually the OK button never seemed to do anything after I entered the address coordinates (maybe I need that Easy button instead).

I'll try again when the traffic thins out.

Yeah, it found my city easily, but just seemed to glitch out when I tried to enter a street address. Oh well, it's free...

Even though that appears to be one other, a Dminor in Crofton who says: "Does it matter if it's for fun or Money when i shoot u in the face". Just a guess but from this my future SR gaming endeavors look to be a mite slim. Hopefully some fellow Dumpshockers can prove that notion false.

I went to add myself, and it seems Frapper is going to be a paid service. Has anyone here taken care of that?

[EDIT:] After looking above, as I've been off touring RL for a while, I realized that I posted here before.
This time the map software worked, so I guess it's just an update that I'm actually on the map now.

a note and i'll double check things in the next week or so but it looks like frappr bit the big one, i'll see what can be done about getting us a new map on another site but i wont make any promises because my computer access has been severely limited.

That'll be why i can't get the map up then

It seems that Frappr! is down and has been since late September of '09. Sadly, it doesn't look like it's coming back

I'm moving to Laval (Canada), a suburb of Montreal. If there's anyone near who needs a player or a GM, I'm up for it!

Unfortunately we can't get at the old data, so it looks like everyone's going to have to add their info again manually.

KarmaInferno I sent ya a PM. I noticed that the map at this point is pretty much empty though. I'm not sure how many of the people that were posting in 2008 are still around to update the map today.

Needless to say I live just northwest of Boston, MA is anyone is in that general area.

Okay, the NoScript add-on for Firefox seems to interfere with the Google User Created Maps. If you are just getting a blank map when you visit the link, you need to add the following addresses to your whitelist:

about:ubiquity
mozilla.com
google.com
j.maxmind.com
file://

Even then, sometimes I have to refresh the page a couple of times to get it to show up.

Switching NoScript to "Allow Scripts Globally" results in normal display of the map. Internet Explorer seems to not have this issue.
