You shouldn't need QT Pro (and I certainly wouldn't wish owning it on anyone].

Just right-click and Save Link As.

QT Pro is worthwhile. It was more worthwhile before Audacity, but it's still pretty handy and easy to use.

Of course, since most people use Quicktime for playback…
