Writer intent question:

1) How do you determine which metamagics are lost when a magician/mystic ad/adept becomes cyberzombie?

2) Does metamagics that have prerequisite to learn also have those same prerequisite to use?

Can a blood magician with Blood Invoke continue to use Blood Invoking to summon Blood spirits?

1> Same way you'd lose metamagics any other time you'd lost initiate grades (which will happen any time your Magic falls below your grade): You pick whichever one you want to lose.

2> They have the prerequisites to learn, to use, and to have. So you'll have to lose the advanced metamagics before you can effectively lose the basic metamagics.

You can't have Blood Invocation unless you have Invoking and Sacrifice. So if your Magic falls to 1 (or even 2) you won't have Blood Invoking. So no Blood Conjurers who are also Cyberzombies.

and that's assuming you allow blood magicians in your campaign. Me, I just say NO to evil-got-a-big-bounty-on-their-heads blood mages.

Why bother. First time they use blood magic the sam with the eye recorder catches it, caps the mage and turns him in for the bonty. the rest of the pc's take the night off because the blood mage just got them more than the run would have netted them and the dead pc rolls a new character.

The bounty is for live Blood Mages.

And I believe that the DIMR has since issued a specific list of who they want. (or that might be for Toxics)
