Full Version: Who Would Want A Shadowrun Adventure Path?
Dumpshock Forums > Discussion > Shadowrun
EATERoftheDEAD
My last campaign was an epic Shadowrun game that ran 16 missions and had an epic plot about an urban war in a cyberpunk Boston. The game was a lot of fun and I quite enjoyed the story that came out of it.

Would anyone be interested in such a thing? If there is interest I will put the work into making my notes playable missions and I can post them on RPG Archive or something. Post here if you would be interested in such a thing.
Fortune
Sure. Sounds interesting. smile.gif

Oh, and welcome to Dumpshock.

Groovy. Between here and the other places I posted this idea there seems to be lots of folks (or more than I expected anyway) who would like to see this. I'll put together the first mission soon and write up the first act of the story (4 missions) to see what folks think of the whole thing before I write up more.

And, thank you for the welcome. biggrin.gif

Yeah, that sounds cool, I'd love to see it.

I remeber a thing from a while back called the C.L.U.E. Files that was just stories of groups doing really dumb things. It was always funny.

When I ran this campaign my group of usually smart players kept getting excited and going in unprepared. There was one missions where they had to break into a vault but there were lots of other things they had to do first but forgot all about those other objectives and went right for the vault. They sneak up to it and then realise they don't know the code to open the door. They felt so dumb, it was great.

Shadowrun: Urban Kaos

This is the site where I will put up all of the information for the campaign. Keep an eye on it to get all the goods.

I would like to see them and perhaps add them to my collection of adventures.

However, I keep getting a 502 server error.

I often wonder if I should make my GM notes available for other GMs, but sadly I think most of you guys are better GMs than me anyway.

Target: Boston is now available!

http://shadowrunurbankaos.blogspot.com/200...get-boston.html

Check out the file for the setting information for Shadowrun: Urban Kaos. If you have any questions, comments or advice feel free to send them my way and I'll consider incorporating them into the backdrop for the game. You can contact me via a comment on any of the forum posts I've made for this as well as comments on the file itself or you can email me via the link in my profile on blogspot.

The file is a little sparse on details because it was compiled from my rather sparse notes. The way I usually run a game is paint the broad strokes and then fill in the details as I see fit. I tried to make this information as logical and useful as possible. Expect more specific information with the adventures themselves.

Nice to see another mainer on the net! Wonder what's going on in the wild shadows of portland... hmmm...

Anyway, I'm a newbie DM running a game for newbie players, so any adventure ideas are good to see.

I once toyed with the idea of doing an updated Lewiston/Auburn. I was going to make it old school and set it in 2050 with all the splat books removed from play. I never did run that game but it was a neat thought experiment. I went with Boston, which is now the only city I will be running Shadowrun games in, because it is close to home and most folks have been there.

I hope you enjoy the campaign and adventures when they come around.

Power Players is now available!

http://shadowrunurbankaos.blogspot.com/200...er-players.html

This chapter details the allies, adversaries and organizations at work in Boston during the events of Urban Kaos.

The information is a little thin but this will be updated later if the need is there. I wanted to get on to the adventures themselves so this file suffered because of that. If anyone feels like stating out the NPCs or offering more input feel free to send me the stuff and I'll take a look at it. As before, if there are any questions, comments or advice feel free to send it along to me.

And now, Chapter 3: Managing Kaos!

http://shadowrunurbankaos.blogspot.com/200...aging-kaos.html

This article serves as a sort of gamemaster’s guide to running Urban Kaos.

There has also been a revision of the Introduction. As always, if anyone has any comments, suggestions or whatever please feel free to contact me. I have gotten some input already and I appreciate it all, keep it coming!

Next up are the missions finally!

There's no reason you couldn't do what I'm doing. Polish up those notes into something usable by other folks and put it together on blogspot. I say go for it and let me know when it's up and running.

Is it working for you yet? Try another link in her if it isn't. If that still doesn't work let me know and I'll see if I can get you reading it somehow, maybe a PM or something.
