Yeah, China is certainly not the place I wanna be. Not sure how nice it is to constantly be reminded that our current world is just as inhumane in some ways as the Sixth World.

Yes and in addition the hepatitis rate there also is very high, another impact on getting a organ transplant from there.

Just remember, folks. Anything anyone has ever written into a book, game manual, comic, or put on film by way of a slasher flick -- no matter how depraved, inhuman, twisted, gruesome, or sick -- the idea occurred to someone besides an artsy-fartsy rich white guy with a pen or a camera long before he thought of it. Somewhere, some time, someone did that disgusting act to someone else and society was either completely oblivious to the fact, or totally okay with it. For the vast majority of the planet, and over the vast majority of humankind's history, all kinds of sick shit was perfectly okay and no one gave much of a damn over what was "humane" or not. Certainly not the ruling elite or their militaries.

Compared to most of the rest of history, everyone's got it pretty good right now.

Well I would agree that at least more people have it good. However everybody having it good these days is not the case. See the part about prisoners getting organ harvested earlier in the thread.
