Im kind of tired of all the knee-jerk to these draconic characters who appear to be game-breakers. I just dont want to see anymore until I see some actual play-testing. That means take a dragon at 400BP, stick it in a group of other 400BP "regular" runners, and see how it plays out before you go spouting off a bunch of nonsense that makes you look absolutely retarded.

If you're tired of these discussions, stop reading them? [/sensible advice]

Starmage's advice is actually better than yours.

He's not just tired of the discussions, he's suggesting we add some substance. Who can argue with that?

Thanks, I have seen my share of dragon PC, though not after these rules (though somewhat similar oens). It remains that they are viable only for specialised campaigns except if you actively try to hijack a campaign by introducing a spotlight whore of a character that also is far too powerful to deal with.
Also, this IS AN APRIL FOOL'S JOKE.

Those who want to be spotlight whores will be without the help of dragon PC options. The hijacking of this thread for the purpose of accusing dragon PCs to be spotlight whores can be considered to be an act of exactly that. You try to steal the spotlight, so you can tell everyone who actually doesn't want to hear it what spotlight whoring abominations dragon PC actually are.
"I find your lack of faith... disturbing"
Also, the joke's bigger then just the dragons. Way bigger. And really fun to watch.

He didn't ask YOU to test the rules. It was a generalized suggestion. So settle down!

Since IMHO the only criteria for a successful game is that everyone involved has fun I am quite sure that dragon PCs would work for a number of groups/campaigns. The variables and group dynamics are too different between diverse groups, however, so I do not think they'll work in every group.
