Grey
A wicked grin creeps over Grey's face, "What do you mean 'become'? I was born this way. However, I'll leave the decision to the master of the house."
Tanka
The kid with the datajack suddenly goes berserk. He twists around, grabbing Grey's arm, and bites his hand, attempting to get free.

The mage simply stares in bewilderment, not sure what to do.
GunnerJ
This could get out of hand...

Thinker concentrates on making the young decker stop and enter unconsciousness, and he gently crafts the mana that will put the boy down.
Tanka
The kid visually lurches and stops. He looks around, his eyes glazed over, then relaxes and begins muttering, no longer able to exert as much energy as he had before.

The mage looks around, finally coming to his senses. Right before he begins spouting, though, Thinker speaks up.

"I wasn't gonna do anything, except mebbe beg for my life. Don't kill us, please?"
Grey
Grey rips his hand free and uses it to backhand the kid.

"Do that again and I'll have you for dinner."
Tanka
The boy drops to the floor, pretty much stunned beyond any will to move.

"Don't you hit him!" shouts a newcomer. She walks in, very calmly. She is beautiful, striking, stunning, whatever your choice of words, she is all of them.

Dressed in tight revealing leather, Keari enters. The blonde-haired, green-eyed vixen stares Grey down, daring him to make a move.

*Slightly bows*

"And who are you, Mademoiselle ?"
Grey
Grey stares right back, "Who the frag is this slitch and why does she think she can tell me what to do?"
Callidus
Walking quietly through the streets towards the address he had been given, Darkling's thoughts roll backed time and he wandered on museing about the past.

It's almost like the old days, the barrens always remind me of happier times.... well I shouldn't think of my old life, should concentrate on the new life.... heh more like the new unlife.... I wonder what my old friends would think of this....

Almost lost in his own world he nearly missed the raised voices coming from the other end of the enterance tunnel. Reacting more on instinct at first he steps into the shadows and melts into them, then moves slowly and quietly do the tunnel. Seeing the confrontation, he thinks that the caution was sensible and scans the group for anyone he recognises. Spotting Thinker he steps slightly out of the shadow, waves enough to get his attention and signs whether Thinker needs his help or whether he should stay hidden. Then steps back hiding in the shadows in case surprise would be needed.

Damn vampire against vampire, this could get messy although I hope not.

Quickly glancing around in the astral to check who's the biggest magical threat he then extends his magical defences to include Thinker as well as himself.

I knew I should have cast those spells before leaving to come to the 'safe' house, ah well no use crying over spilt milk as my mother used to say....

With that last thought he settles into his comfortable state of preparation ready to draw his swords or cast if trouble kicks off....
GunnerJ
Thinker sees his old friend slip in through the door, Good, he got the instructions on how to get past the defenses. Now if we only knew how the children did...

Temporarily ignoring the strange woman that appeared, Thinker concentrates on Darkling's hand signals. He wants... to eat... a sunlight? I never did get the hang of this.

Thinker concentrates on opening a line of clear thought between the two, using the will to share ideas Darkling showed as the basis of the link. Having done so, he mentally projects the idea that while he doubts any real violence here, it might not be a good time for Darkling to introduce himself just yet. He keeps the line open for a response.
Callidus
Slightly surprised at the mindlink but catching on quick, Darkling relaxes a little and accepts Thinkers suggestion that he stay hidden for now.

Okay, Thinker I'll be here when you need me and I'll wait for now. Nice place by the way
Tanka
"I am Keari, your new..." She stalls, not too keen of the word. "...Leader. I rather would like it to be semi-democratic in nature, instead of tyrannical. However, if it comes down to it, I have the final say, as is indicated by Antacus."

She looks Grey straight in the eyes. "I would appreciate it if you didn't use that sort of language towards me. It doesn't make me happy." Her last words didn't sound like a threat, but neither were they nice.

She looks around, noting what seems to be every detail.

"Where are the other two? I was told there would be two more, and surely these children are not them, as you would not have hit them, I'm sure."
Grey
Grey looks the new chick up and down a few times. "Antacus sent you, eh?"

Grey nods approvingly. "Alright then, boss. Looks like I owe you an appology. I'm sorry."

With that, he lets the kid go, droping him to the ground, but keeping an eye on him just in case he tries to escape.
Tanka
Keari nods once to Grey.

"So. Do we have any word of Solaris or Darkling? Antacus said that they would be here by the time I arrived to replace Dominic."
Grey
"Bein' that I have no idea who Darkling is, I'd take a guess that they ain't here yet."
GunnerJ
Thinker speaks up: "Darkling has arived, but he was reluctant to show himself during the... commotion before."

He suggests to Darkling that he step forward.

Francois stands still where he is, calm, observing and listening. You can see that he is slightly smiling, probably because he is glad that the the new leader appears to be on his side in the conflict about the two kids.
Callidus
Stepping out of the shadows at Thinker's suggestion and now that the others had calmed down again, he moves forward with a grace only seen in the augmented and rarely even in vampires. He stands just short of 6'0" and has very short black hair. Obviously human he still bulks larger than you would expect as he calmly looks around the group memorizing faces and stances. He's dressed as most think shadowrunners do with a carefully covered armour jacket and longcoat, carrying a large backpack on his back and a pair of swords one on each hip.

"Yes I've arrived, following the directions I was given. I am Darkling and I am sorry for not stepping forward earlier but as Thinker said I thought discretion was needed." Bowing slightly to Keari he continues "So you are now in charge of this group, very well I am glad that firm leadership is here. Although I must say you don't seem particularly pleased to be in charge." With that he smiles faintly.

"So where should I set up and what are we going to do with the children? I would strongly prefer not killing them but it may not be safe to let them run free with no controls."
Tanka
Keari nods to Darkling.

"'It may not be safe ' is a severe understatement. You might as well tell me that they have no recollection of what any of this is. Either way, I am uninformed as to how they got here and who they are. Anybody care to explain?"
Grey
"Thats what we are trying to get from them now. They just came up and knocked on the door. How they got to the door I have no idea."
gobogen
"Actually, let's find out right away"

Francois formulates a small incantation while doing the appropriate gestures.

"It would certainly be a good idea to tell all of us here how you made your way up here, isn't it? And what were you doing in this area and why did you try to go past the security? You would be very kind as to explain all that to us in detail", he said to the kid with the datajack. Frank has a childish highpitch voice, and you are probably only starting to getting used to its seriousness yet.
Callidus
Inwardly slightly shocked at the authority and strength in the child's voice

Maybe that's the child vampire I've heard about.... He must be older than he seems to have that confidence. Must be a nightmare to be permently a child.... Poor guy, although he must have worked out how to conpensate for that disadvantage by now.... Hmmm, will probably be worth getting to know him....

Outwardly, he looks over at the downed kid to see if there are any injures and see none beyond the smack mark returns his attention to the budding interrogation.
