There is a loud crash from behind you all. You turn, ready for combat, then see that it is Mjolnir busting its way into the host and taking up its possition next to Thor.

Ed dives for cover behind someone, then looking rather sheepish when he notices its just Mjolnir. He stuffs the hand cannon back in the bag. "Lets do data looting on the way out, for now lets get mona. (mostly to himself) First we need to find the host"
Ed fetches a compass from a pocket.

Ed watches the needle spin and then point at one of the doors. "That one"

The door that Ed points to looks just like any other door at first, but as you walk up to it and stop, it changes. The door handle gets red hot and the heat from it washes over you. The words "Keep Out!" appear across it, each letter looking as if it was burned into the door.

You may attpemt to log into the host now. Target is 15 minus your Access or Deception.

Thor grins slightly when Mjolnir burst through the host's security and returns to his hand. Patting Ed on the shoulder as he works his magic, Thor prepares to log onto the other host.

Her eyes opening and narrowing as she straightens herself up. "I will not tolerate this!" previously unseen red lettering appears down the back of her dress as she steps forward slamming her palms into the door.

Ok, everyone is in so far except for Raiko. If I don't see a post from him by mid-afternoon, I'll roll for him.

Maelstorm leaps at the door in a classic kung-fu movie style and jumpkicks his way through.

You all find yourself in a hallway almost exactly like the one you just left. Its long with an endless ammount of doors leading off of it. Down the hall you see a man-in-black icon step out of a doorway and as he does so, you catch a glimpse of the room behind him... It appears as if there is a firey inferno, a digital hell.

He closes the door, then turns to face you all. In an instant he draws out a pistol and gets ready to open fire!

Ed is up first.

Ed pulls the hand cannon out of the bag, slower, with a definite movment. "Lets rumble" He pulls the riot shield a little closer and takes aim, before the thundering explosion rocks the digital hallway. Immedently after he dives for cover in a door frame, putting himself in a more defenceable spot.

The Men-in-Black takes the hit square in the chest and slowly the black fades to grey, then into white and he crumbles to the floor.

You notice a few small red dot up in the cealing and as you peer at it, you see it is a microcamara.

As your hand cannon goes off a black sludge drips from the cealing onto the gun. In an instant the gun is reduced to a puddle of goo. You drop it to the ground before it touches your hands and you look down to see the sludge and what is left of you gen drain into a small crack in the flooring.

Ed looks at the ceiling "Oooo you did NOT just do that..." Ed sucks the bits of the MIB up and puts them in his bag (DF down to . "Ok, file is... umm..." Ed digs for his compass again.

Ed is visibly flustered, "Where the hell are they!" Ed pulls a cell phone from his vest pocket "Betrix, need a new program" He hangs up and pulls a new copy of the hand cannon from his bag.

The dial on Ed's compass spins out of control, then after a moment it settles and points down the hall at a random door. None of the doors look any different from eachother, but the compass leads the way.

I made a mistake, this showed up at the same time everything else did, I just forgot to mention it.

A small dog appears next to Thor and begins to sniff at his leg.

Concerned that his security tally might have activated passive IC, Maelstom cleans the lenses of his shades, and scrutinizes his surroundings closely.

Maelstom clears his lenses and registers the hiden camara up on the cealing as IC. The dog that is sniffing at Thor also registers as IC.

Ed looks quickly at the now occupied comrads, "Im gonna dash for the files, I think I found then."

Thor glances down at the dog near his leg. Straigtening his horned helm, he pulls a small, polished peice of metal and looks at the reflection of the dog in his "mirror."

After looking at the dog, Thor pauses a moment to inform the others about the icon's true nature (assuming he can determine what that is). Then, pulls a forked stick or divining rod from his belt and spins slowly as he searches for files concerning the Mona Lisa Project.

"Ok guy's I've got the IC covered" Reaching into Ed's bag and pulls out a small can of spary paint that he didn't know he had in there. Stands up on tip toes and proceeds to spray the ceiling where the micro camara is.





Stepping back on to her heels admiring her hand work, She turns to Ed. "Mind if i keep a hold of this? Ah look a puppy!! Come here boy, come here. Isn't he cute!!" As she bends down to ruffle it's head. "Gimme paw, thats it. Roll over, Play Dead. Good Boy!"

You step up to the door the compass points you to and open the door. Before you is a wondrous looking host. The room looks like its a workshop right out of the Renaissance period. There is a worktable in the center of the room and the walls are lined with huge bookshelves. There are a few works of art hung along the back wall. In the center of the back wall is a large window with a classic-style telescope sitting in front of it. At the moment, the window is solid black.

You step into the room and start taking books off the selves and stuffing them into your backpack. However, a moment after you begin your work, something happens. It feels as if your brain is trying to push its way out of the top of your head and your world spins wildly out of control. Your Read/Write operation is instantly interrupted as your hands grab the sides of your head and you can't help but let out a terrifying scream. The pain is so unbearable that you can’t do anything but slump to your knees and moan in pain.

The pain is paralyzing and you are unable to take any actions for the time being.

Taking a good look at the dog, you realize it is a Probe IC, rating 8.

The rod pulls towards the direction that Ed just took, down the hall. You move to follow and just as you reach the door, you hear a scream of pure pain and horror come from inside.

Both of your attacks strike true and the code gets ripped appart, but as you do so, the dog reforms into a huge attack dog and the camara falls to the floor then reforms as a monsterous robot that bears down on you.

I'll need initiative rolls from anyone who plans on being involved in this combat.

Blinking a couple of times. Those near by hear. "Aye ya!! this ones not so cute!, Someone be a little more carefull, because this so wasn't me!"

Looking back at the dog, "I said play Dead!!"

And just so you know where each of you is right now, Mo and Maelstom are at the enterance to the host. Thor and Mjolnir are just outside the door to the Da Vinchi room and Ed is inside, getting royally messed up.

Ed curls up into a ball, hoping to the gods that hes gonna wake up from this nightmare.

Thor looks over his shoulder and sees the Mo and Maelstrom can probably handle the IC thats onto them. Thinking about Ed inside this room worries him, though. Gripping Mjolnir tighter, Thor swings the hammer and bashes in the door to the room before him.

Stunned for a moment, Thor sees Ed before him holding his head in agony. he immediately straghtens up and notices the painting of the Mona Lisa on the wall. Giving a command to Mjolnir to investigate the painting, Thor cranks up his sensors to try and see what might be assaulting Ed.

The mighty hammer flys through the air and stops in front of the painting for a moment...

As Thor looks around the room, his eyes almost move over something, but then he realizes that it just doesn't quite fit. Hiding under the table is what appears to be a boy, maybe 13 years old, dressed up like a court jester. His attention quickly shitfs from Ed to Thor and he jumps to his feat.

"You aren't supposed to be here! You have no idea what you are messing with you fools!"

Thor's head cocks to the side, "And who might you be, my diminutive little friend?" he asks the icon, trying to discern if it's a decker's icon or just a sophisticated piece of IC.

"My name is not important." The boy starts to hop around playfully. "But you can't have her. SHE WILL BE MINE!"

Thor feels a terrible ache come over him, as if there is a strange static in the host, but he fights against it... shaking his head Thor feels fine.

The boys eyes widen in anger.

This would be a good time for initiative.

Ed rolls over and starts sifting in his bag, and keeps pulling odd stuff, but nothing usefull.

Thor launches himself foward, pulling his fist back, and lands a blow clean accross the Jester's jawline. His head snaps back and his eyes roll. You can hear a mumble of "No..." come out of him as his icon fades out of the matrix.

At the same instant the pain that was wracking Ed clears away and he feels just fine, good as new.

Ed rolls up in a cycle (computer heartbeat) and pulls a nasty looking cattle prod from his bag, only to point it at the empty air.
"F*ck, I wanted his ass in PAIN." Ed then notices the number of books in the room. "Crap, gotta hurry" He starts grabbing books and tossing them over his shoulder into the magic bag.

While Ed gets to work downloading the stacks and stacks of information, Mjolnor comes flying back to Thor to report that the painting is some sort of custom node.

Ed stops grabing the books, and they keeps tossing them selves into Eds open bag. "Ok, files are on their way out. How are the other 2 fairing? And whats with that window?" Ed peers at it with his eyepeice again, wondering whats with it.

Ed is totally confused by the nodes design.

Thor moves over with Mjolnir towards the painting of the Mona Lisa and brings his own powers to bear on the analysis.

Putting her hand behind her back, then she returns it to the front but now it is hold what appears to be a bone

Waving it in front of the dog "Here mutt, fetch." Then Turning to the Chromed monster "Here hold this for me." Passing it the bone.

"Hopefully that will keep them busy for a while" Turning to Maelstom. And giving a wink. "Lets see how the others are doing"

The dog starts barking at the Combat Droid and their attention is drawn away from you as they deal with eachother. You and Maelstom walk over to the room, open the door and step inside.

"You guys dealt with the IC I see," Thor comments as the other two enter the node. "Come hear and check this out. Ed and I can't figure out what it is. Oh! Ed got the files that we came for, but this painting bothers me since it's of the Mona Lisa and we're looking for information about the Mona Lisa project ...." Thor's rambling fades out as he thinks to himself.

"Yeah, nice and trapped they were too. Those to will sort themselfs out soon enough though, So whats making this so difficult?" Looking at the Painting. "Is that meant to be a smile??"

"I dont know... Its a pretty confusing set up. Hey, while Im ransacking this stuff, we still gonna dump out an admin account?" Ed sits down on the floor and watches the stream of books diving into his delivery bag.

Mo takes a look at the node and her eyes widen in surprise. The node is used to activate the window, that much she can tell, but how to do it is beyond her, as the node is highly encrypted. But it does occur to her that the clue might be in the huge ammount of data that Ed is downloading.

At trying to look into her security, the system halts the process.

At watching Mo's reaction "Whats up with it?"

"Ed? have looked in to any of that you have there?" She say's as she steps forward and starts to run her fingers over the picture/ window. " I'm not wanting to rip this open if i have to, quite ways are allways better."
