Hi,
I have been reading unwired a bit here and there and I still have trouble understanding how exactly I can construct a nexus.
So with a little looking I found that "Nexi are designed to run multiple personas; their persona limit equals System x 3. Nexi have a minimum processor limit of 10 and a maximum of 50."
A custom nexus has its own response, system, and firewall.
So with system rating I can calculate persona limit (which goes into calculating system cost).
However, I could not find a way to calculate processor limit, which means that both response and firewall cannot be calculated. So how do I calculate the processor limit for a nexus?

go to page 198 of the pdf. cost and pre-packaged nexi.

You pick it, and then you pick the Response and Firewall ratings that you want, plug it into the formulae, and you get the prices.

Ah I have the same problem i think it meansonr page 94 but I dont think that solved the problem.

So how much does a processor cost?

I think you just pluck one from thin air there is no line in the book saying how much they cost.

I agree with Dumori, just pick a number from 10-50 and the cost of the processor limit is built into the costs on 198
pg 50,
"Nexi are designed to run multiple personas; their persona limit equals System x 3.
Nexi have a minimum processor limit of 10 and a maximum of 50."
So by 198
Response is rating x (number from 10-50) x 50 or 100 for 1-3 or 4-6
Firewall is rating x (number from 10-50) x 25 or 50
System is oddly system rating x (system rating x 3) x 25 or 50
Signal is the same cost as normal commlink.

Also note that the Persona Limits for the prebuilt ones are different on pg. 198 than on pg. 50; I think the System x 3 limit was originally supposed to be a "choose a number" limit.

Cool, the first real typo type of thing that I've heard of. I wonder which is the "official" way of building them.

I would like a diagram so I can figure it out at 3AM under artillery conditions.
