Full Version: Slow matrix combat

Alright first. I don't have unwired yet. Does it speed up matrix combat?

Specifically my issue is that since firewall is the one program not limited by response it means that against higher end systems(and hackers) the dice used defending are larger than the number in attacks. Making for some fights that last an annoyingly long time on the table if not in game.

Not gamebreaking by any means. But annoying.

Not really no. It doesn;t change the paradigm of the matrix significantly.

Any tilting toward offense and quicker battles? For example without changing the hand to hand combat system re-introducing Dikote would speed it up.

Nothing really springs to mind. It is much easier to get maxed out personas I suppose if that counts.

Just use franks rules if you want faster resolution.
