Without having to worry about stealth now that the party is in motion Alexei makes no attempt to hide his firearms, in fact he makes a point of showing his custom AK off as he prowls around the building. Keeping an eye on his soldiers and making sure no overly serious fights kick off.

Dryden, on the other hand, keeps his knives concealed as he makes his rounds through the gang, smiling, getting to know people, flirting with the cute single gals, making sure they love him via judicious use of his Glamour, and supplying a dose o' the bliss he scored with those who want it. He also makes sure to meet with each of the other members of the core gang, getting their opinions on how things went and who stood out in their eyes.

After giving the place an all clear on the magic front Gres asks, "So are we liking this place enough to make is a base of operations, or is this place a one time deal?" It did make a difference on how Gres would look to securing the place. If it was just a party then it would be just some watchers for the night. Otherwise he would need to start planning for some wards.

"I think that, if we find out who owns it and convince them to donate it to us, it'll make a good location for us." Dryden looks around and looks over the gang partying before turning back to Gres. "So, did you happen to notice any magic talent amongst our recruits?"

"There is one potential. He seems to be latent and undefined at this point. He might not even know he is awakened yet." Gres answered Dryden. "Still such a breakthrough could happen quickly at any time."

"We'll need to keep an eye on him, then." Dryden laughs as he wanders off, looking for anyone who looks like they aren't having fun.

Alexei doesn't especially look like he's having fun, but then who needs fun when you've packing some heavy league firepower and a bottle of homebrew vodka?

Given that nothing has gone majorly wrong yet, he decides to explore some of the more out of the way rooms. Like any basements or attic spaces, along with any unconventional escape routes - like a poorly fixed air con unit.

Alexei doesn't get far in his search of the building before he realizes that the front door is still locked, and it seems to be the only entrance. Examining the fencing however reveals no particular weak points except for the actual gate, and the secondary gate made by Dryden and his group.

The party goes well. Many are drunk, several are high, a few are both, and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves as they get pounded with sound waves from the mega speakers. Perhaps the only person not enjoying themselves besides Alexei, is a human girl. She's keeping to herself mostly, and seems to be purposefully not enjoying the party, as more then one guy has tried to get her to dance, and failed.

Dryden spots the girl and starts making his way over to her. "You seem to be missing out on the fun." He says as he walks up next to her. "What's wrong?"

Seeing the girl who doesn't appear to be having a good time, and seeing Dryden try to talk to her. Gres decides to take a more subtle to finding out what is going on. Opening himself up to the astral he feels the pulse of the party move through him then he looks at the girls's aura.

The girl's aura is quickly revealed to Gres, Showing him that she does indeed seem to be sad about something, but is in otherwise reasonable health. Nothing funny shows up in her aura, no spells, no hint of magic, no cyberware even, and no essence missing from her. Whatever the problem is, it isn't evident in her aura.

Dryden's attempts to engage the girl are brushed off, and he is even met with several angry looks, almost as though he is the source of the problem. After a bit of persistence by Dryden though, the girl finally glances around and whispers "Can we talk somewhere else?" in a confidential sort of way, obviously not anxious to share her problem with anyone at the party who might just happen to overhear it.

Alexei does a quick scan of his messages on his commlink, and a quick think of what the others have told him, and he doesn't seem to recall anyone mentioning anything about seeing any security systems on the building. On the other hand, he doesn't recall them saying there weren't any sort of security measures in place either.

"Someone fetch Mya and Tink," Alexei shouts to the crowd in general. "It's time we cracked this baby open and took the party indoors." He makes a show of pulling on some gloves and getting an autopicker out.

Dryden smiles as he hears Alexei's call and motions for the girl to follow him as he leads her towards a far corner of the lot that is out of earshot of anyone else. "So, what's wrong?"
