Far Scholar, Elfbane and the like are dragons' surnames, while Ghost in the Machine, Lady of the Court, Wordsmyth or the Laughing Man are Matrix aliases. Very different things. I don't think a dragon would ever post with their surnames on shadowland. That would be a complete lack of class !
BTW, Ghost in the Machine handles suggests Ghowtalker online as much as Buttercup the manga fan, but what he types points a lot more at the former.
