Full Version: Emerald City Nights (Solo Project)
Dumpshock Forums > Discussion > Welcome to the Shadows
Digital Heroin
Finally having realized that my schedule just doesn't seem to be suited at the moment to forum play, and that I tend to have moments of thorough unreliability, I am launching Emerald City Nights (yes, I've used the title before, in my unreliable GM phase). This is intended to be a solo project involving multiple intertwining characters in a plot which may eventually develop into something less than rambling. Characters are being posted on the Shadowrun forum section, and will be linked to here as well. This thread is intended as an open discussion thread for anyone who would like to put their two nuyen in, and from time to time I'll be soliciting opinions from people here as well. It will also serve as a rambling way for me to maintain my train of thought at times.

Notable is that the framework for ECN is largely done mechanically first (rolled up, with statted NPCs and PCs), and then written along with it. This is my way of keeping my head in the mechanics of SR4, which I needed to, obviously, because I caught myself missing things in the first run of combat, and having to backtrack a few times.

Questions, comments, concerns, and death threats are welcome.

Reserved for a potentially hella-long post of background character/contact bios as they get fleshed out.

Ok, so here's the deal... I'm writing the next few bits of story for this, from Jack's perspective and the Gunsmoke boys. But while I do that, I'm opening the floor to the Dumpshock viewing audience for ideas for the next Snow job. I've got a few of my own, but I'll take 'challenge' ones as well. So fire away, if you're so inclined, and be a contributing GM to this little slice of madness.

What happened to Johnson? That was one of the best teams ever.

I see there is no courier service ran by Hermes, but I will be following along.

Good to see your return to the boards, as I make my own.
